Swara is all packing her stuff while Sanskar comes there.
Sanskar: why don’t you postpone the meeting?
Swara: Sanskar I didn’t expect you to say this. I know there must be something important that’s why you are saying. But trust me this is really important or I would have cancelled the plan.
Sanskar: why don’t you go after my plan??
Swara: no Sanskar ….why don’t you just tell me now? Like what you have planned?
Sanskar: no …. I’ll do it sometime later.
He helps her packing.
Sanskar: so for how many days you’re going??
Swara: I guess 3-5 days. I should be back in those many days.
Sanskar: what?! Almost a week?
Swara: Sanskar why are you getting shocked? I have had meetings for 2 weeks also.
Sanskar: no nothing. ( Mummers to himself) I can’t wait to tell you my feelings. I have waited for long now but whatever I planned is gone waste. I can’t wait. I love you so much Shona.
Swara: what??!! What are you mummering?? Say it loud.
Sanskar: nothing.
Swara makes him sit and hugs him: whatever you want to say, say it loud. I know you want to say something but you’re not. I know you’re irritated because of my meeting and cancelling your plan. So please Sanskar say what you want to. I know you don’t want me to go but….. If something happens to me and you will be never able to tell me. So please tell me.
Sanskar breaks the hug: shhhh! Stop speaking rubbish. Nothing will happen to you. I can wait until then. What happened to you suddenly??
Swara: nothing. M just saying. If at all something happens to me then…. I will never be able to hear what you want to say.
Sanskar: shut up! Don’t talk shit! I won’t let anything happen to you. You better get that. I don’t want to loose you. Promise me you will never leave me. Promise.
Swara: okay baba ….. Now go do your work. Let me finish packing up and I will rest for sometime.
Sanskar: okay.
He goes from there.
Swara closes the door and falls on the ground : how do I tell them? That my surviving chances are very less. I might not be able to see them after today.
She cries bitterly. Swara had been diagnosed with blood clot in her brain when she was thrown in the river. She was told to get operated but there were chances of memory loss which she didn’t want to go for, she didn’t want to forget about her revenge. She kept it all a secret from her family. The doctors had told her but she insisted on giving her temporary solution for which she was given pills which had to be taken on time or she would get drowsy,they told her about her situation where in if she didn’t operate now she would die and her condition had become critical in past few months but Swara ignored them but now situation was getting worse, she was getting immense pain in her head and feeling dizzy every now and then and Swara knew what was the reason for this. She has finally decided to operate herself but doctor said her chances of survival are very less.
Swara sits there for sometime and goes to the drawer and removes the box again. She touches the rose petals and smiles.
***Flash back***
It was the last day of college and everyone was talking to each other and Swara was sitting there and her eyes were looking for only one person but he was not ready to see her. She sat there for sometime more and got irritated since her best friend was not coming and she knew where he would be.
She stands up and goes to the library: donkey today is the last day of college and you idiot are sitting in the library? Like not even a single soul is there here and you are sitting here alone? Have you lost your mind? Come now let’s go.
Saying so she pulls his hand but inturn he pulls her back and she hits his chest and he holds her by her waist.
Swara: Sanskar..?!!! ( Shocked)
Sanskar: I don’t want to go out. I need to tell you something.
(Interrupted)
Swara: San…..
Sanskar: shhhh don’t say anything till I finish. I really really want to tell you that I love you lots not as a friend but more than that and I want you to know that I m madly in love with you miss swara. I don’t want to loose you. I really love you and want to marry you. I know it might be shocking for you to hear this but yes I really do. I love you but I don’t want you to think that I m forcing you to be in a relationship with me. I give you time to think about this and let me know in tomorrow. I will come here at same time. If you don’t come I will get my answer.
He gives her a rose and kisses her cheeks and goes from there leaving Swara shocked and blushing.
Who knew that was the last time they would see each other? Swara also loved him but the day she came to tell him being late he had already left and Swara was going to leave for Kolkata the same day so she waited and waited but there was no sign of him. She tried to call him but he didn’t connect. She thought to go to his house but shomi called her and they had left. Next day she had got the news of his death.

That night Swara writes a letter for him and keeps it in the box. She spends time with all of them and leaves. Sanskar insisted on dropping her but she said no to him. Sanskar felt something unusual but ignored his feelings and Swara leaves hugging all of them.

It was late night and Sanskar feels restless and cannot sleep so he takes walk in the living area again and again. Shomi comes there till then half asleep.
Shomi: Sanskar ? What happened to you? Why are not sleeping?
Sanskar: ma you?
Shomi: yea …I saw the light on so came. What happened?
Sanskar: I don’t know ma…I m feeling really weird. Something bad like and it’s making my heart run faster and making me restless. I don’t know I m not getting a good feeling about Swara. I don’t know but I m feeling she’s hidding something and behaving abruptly..you know she won’t ignore her family for work.
Shomi: Sanskar calm down. Your thinking this because Swara ignored your plan. But still you can call her and ask about her. She must have already reached Mumbai.
Sanskar: yeah..but i don’t know I m having a bad feeling. I hope she’s fine.
Shomi: don’t worry Sanskar. Wait I will call her.
Shomi calls Swara but she doesn’t pick up
Sanskar: see she’s not picking up. I hope she is ok.
Swara calls them back: yes ma? What happened?
Shomi: there you go… She called!
She keeps it on speaker
Swara: maa what are you saying??
Sanskar: are you okay na?why are you not picking up my calls? You reached safely? How was your flight? You are fine na?
Swara: take a breath Sanskar…I m fine. And I just reached. Don’t worry. My phone was in the bag by the time I removed it from the bag it got cut.
Shomi: thank God. This Sanskar got me scared saying that he has some bad feeling about you hidding something from us and made him restless.
Swara smiles sadly tears forming in her eyes:I m fine Sanskar. Do not worry. By the way I forgot to tell you that I kept something for you in my left side table second drawer. Please open it tomorrow. I m warning you not to open now. Maa you make sure he doesn’t. Okay??
Sanskar: haa baba I won’t open.
Shomi: okay I will.
Swara: okay bye ma. I m really tired I will call you later.
Shomi: okay. Bye.
She cuts the call: come now sleep. She’s fine.
Sanskar: ma..I don’t know but I m not sure. I m also going to Mumbai.
Shomi: Sanskar…calm down. She’s fine. You’re just over thinking. Just now you spoke to her right. Now calm down. She will be fine.
Sanskar: okay. If you say so.
They walk towards their room till then Sanskar gets a call from Sahil.
Shomi: who’s calling you at this time?
Sanskar: Sahil! I don’t may be something important. I will attend the call.
Shomi: yea answer.
Sanskar: yes Sahil? All good right? How is your wife?
Sahil: sir everything is fine with my wife. … actually..
Sanskar: you need anything?
Sahil: sir actually woh… I have seen Swara ma’am on the stretcher taken inside operation theater. Is she fine? I mean I haven’t seen anyone with her so I thought of calling you.
Sanskar: you must be mistaken Sahil… Swara has gone to Mumbai. She’s not in any hospital.
Sahil: no sir. I can’t mistake Swara ma’am. I know you guys very well. I m sure it’s Swara ma’am only. If I wasn’t sure I wouldn’t have called you at this hour.
Sanskar: which hospital?
Sahil tells him the hospital details and it’s in Kolkata itself. So Sanskar immediately tells shomi everything and both go the hospital.
