The same night Sanskar comes to Shomi’s room.
Sanskar: maa..I wanted to speak something important to you. Can I have some time with you?
Shomi: of course Sanskar… come in.
Sanskar sits on the couch: umm…. let’s go to the balcony??
Shomi nods and both go to the balcony.
Shomi: say.. what do you want to say?
Sanskar: ma…woh. .I wanted….I don’t know…
Shomi pats his shoulder: Sanskar come down…it’s only me you know you can share anything with me. Don’t get nervous. It’s only me.
Sanskar shows her a ring : how’s this? What you think ?
Shomi: it’s really pretty. For who is it? Shona or some one else?
Sanskar: of course ma… for Shona only why will I get for some one else?? Do you think she will like it?
Shomi: she will definitely like it. Finally m so happy that you guys are coming out from your friend zone. So when are you going to propose to her?
Sanskar: soon after this thing ends. But please don’t tell her. I want to surprise her. Tomorrow our final plan is going to get over and after that I will propose to her. What do you think she would say? Will she accept?
Shomi: why won’t she??
Sanskar: you know Laksh was her first love and it’s hard to forget…..
Shomi: Sanskar…. there’s nothing. .
Swara comes by then: what are you talking about?
Sanskar: don’t you have manners? Can’t you knock and come?
Swara: hello Mr I can come in my mom’s bedroom anytime without knocking.
Shomi: yea Sanskar… say sorry to her.
Swara smiles victoriously: say say
Sanskar: sorry. I shouldn’t have said that.
Shomi: anyways what happened? What’s in your hand?
Swara: ohh this is our gift for you… actually we got this saree for you for tomorrow’s puja but this donkey forgot to give it to you. Ma please wear it tomorrow.
Sanskar: ohh shit! I forgot about it! Actually Swara wants you to keep your feet on the ground first. So it becomes auspicious. Though I don’t believe in all this but she’s right.. wherever mom’s feet falls the place becomes auspicious itself.
Shomi smiles at them: go now sleep it’s already late.
Sanskar and Swara bid bye to her and leave from her room. Both go to the study.

Sanskar gets a call : yes Sahil..
Sahil: sir.. your work is done. I did as you said. I have sent you the pictures. Check them out and if you want something to be done let me know.
Sanskar: hold on! I will see.
Sanskar sees the pictures: thanks Sahil everything is good. No need to do anything else.
Sahil: sir.. actually I..
Sanskar: go on. Why are you hesitating?
Sahil: I need to take my wife to doctor day after tomorrow. Can I get a leave? Please? I will report back the following day itself sir. Please.
Sanskar: sure you can and if you need anything please don’t hesitate to contact me.
Sahil: thank you so much sir.
He cuts the call.
Sanskar: Swara your work is done. Land is all cleared. The shops have been removed from there and people are paid money apart from Goddodia’s so there’s no tension about it.
Swara: what about the statue and frames? I mean from Goddodia’s shop? I don’t want to disrespect God. I hope you …
He cuts her: yeah yeah I have done the needful. I have taken care of it. I didn’t throw them.
Swara: good boy…
She ruffles his hair.
Sanskar: urgh! Stop it Swara…you know it irritates me.
Swara: I know that…that’s why I purposely do it!
She does it again and runs from there. Sanskar runs behind her and both end up coming at the terrace.
Swara: time please time please.
Sanskar laughs a bit: look at you. Scared chicken. You were running like a scared chicken!!! Hahahaha hahahaha.
Swara looks at him angrily but then just admires his face sheepishly and smiles.
He was her best friend in school and college before they moved to Kolkata. Swara was really upset about it. He was her only best friend with whom she could share anything and everything. But after she moved to Kolkata she got the news that he was no more. Their car was met with an accident and no one survived. This had broken her but she never showed up.
Sanskar snaps her out of her thoughts: where are you lost??! Come out from your trance.
Swara: nothing.
Sanskar: can I ask you something? Please don’t feel bad about it.
Swara: since when do I started feeling bad about what you say? Ask.
Sanskar: do you have feelings for Laksh. I know it’s really stupid question but you know I heard first love never dies and all that…
Swara: no Sanskar…I don’t have feelings for him. Infact I never loved him. I thought after you he was my best friend and I didn’t want to loose a friend again. The way he threatened me about killing himself reminded me of you going away and I said yes to save his life. I was really scared to loose someone again and your question about first love never dies and all is true. First love never dies and you cannot forget about it.
Sanskar: why do you believe in first love??? Did you loved someone???
Swara was about to say something but her smart watch beeps: I need to get some sleep and I think you should to. Otherwise your eyes will turn puffy like some third class horror movie ghost. Bye good night. See you in the morning.
Swara goes out from the terrace followed by Sanskar and he latches the door and goes to sleep.
Swara goes to her room and removes some pills from drawer and pops it and lies on her bed thinking about what Sanskar said about love. She removes the box which she got from baadi that day and opens it up and touches some pictures and rose petals which have completely dried out. She ponders on her thoughts for some more time and closes the box and keeps it in the drawer and locks it and sleeps.
*****Next Morning*****
Swara and Sanskar go to the temple along with others. SwaSan in the same car followed by Shomi with dida and uttara. Both the cars are secured with security both in front and back.
They reach the temple and see crowd gathered near the land.
All get down from their respective cars.
Dida: look drama has already started. Come let’s put little more oil in the fire.
Swara smirks and all walk towards the crowd.
It’s obvious that Goddodia’s are crying and Maheshwaris are trying to console them and people gathered around them.
Swara: ohh look look marwari people are crying what for??! Let me take a guess. Shop got destroyed? No daily bread? No problem there is lots space for some more beggars on the stairs of the temple. I guess they can give you one.
Parvati: so you did it.
Swara: who else ? I told you on your face that I will destroy you. Unlike you I don’t lie and betray. I do what I say. Ohh look ( at Ragini) my killer is here.
Ragini: shut up Swara! What are you getting by doing this? Stop this nonsense. I know you must have done this illegally.
Swara: I m not dumb like you. This land belongs to me. Now please move from here. I don’t need owe you any explanation.
Shekar sees shomi and goes running to her and joins his hands: please tell her not to do this I beg of you. Please mishty please tell her. I will come on road if she snatches our daily bread from us. Please tell her.
Shomi: ohh please. Just cut the crap. I don’t even have pity on you. Just for your wants you need my daughter to take away her decision. Definitely not. What happened that day why didn’t you think about us? Why ? What wrong had we done with you? That she had to go through so much? What ever is happening is good. Its all your fault and your karma which your getting back and I m happy to see this.
Swara: stop wasting time on such people ma. Come we need to start the puja.
Parvati: your doing wrong Swara. .it’s not good.
Dp: have you forgotten what we did to you last time? And Parvati ji ask shekar not to beg in front of these people. We are always at your need.
Swara: one beggar goes to another for money. It would be fun watching though. Durga Prasad I haven’t forgotten about you. Did you try to save your company? Scrap business has become scrap. I think your house is also gone.
Dp is all puzzled all he gets a call from Adarsh that house is raided by income tax department.
Sanskar: puzzled? Let me help you out. Remember your company is going I mean gone from loss is now not working. Your last deal with Sharma is cancelled. It was only your last hope which I snatched. Since you don’t have any profits from 2 years how do you have so much money? I tried to think but income tax department thought to check. All your black money is gone with your house. I should say only house because your son sold your farm house for his stupid needs. Of course Laksh to clarify. Adarsh poor baby was following his father’s footsteps and didn’t even have his own business. Gone gone gone.
Dp falls on the ground while Parvati was already hitting her head and crying and Ragini was consoling her. Shekar was shocked to hear all this.
Sanskar: by the way I m Sanskar… Sanskar Gujral. You remember me? I don’t think so. But let me remind you. Sanskar Gujral son of RAM Prasad Gujral. Now you remember? The one who you killed just for the sake of property? You sent your goons to get us all killed but destiny had some plans and I was saved that day and you thought I was dead but you’re wrong. I was waiting for this day. I think atlast my parents souls are free. My revenge is taken. You have come on the roads. I hope you never ever get something to eat or drink. You die like a worm.
Swara: for your information police has arrived. Actually I was feeling bad about Ragini sitting and begging at this age so I thought… Why not get her arrested for attempting to murder me?
Ragini: you don’t have any proof against that.
Laksh: you can’t get my wife arrested like that…you need proof which you don’t have.
Swara: who said? I m not dumb like you people. By the way Laksh why don’t you take a stand for yourself first? I mean having an affair with Kavya and getting her pregnant and leaving her. Isn’t that a big mistake? And threatening her to abort the baby or you’ll kill her. She’s file a complain against you I guess of course dna is done.
Swara shows the inspector the a recording of video where everything is shown clearly how Swara is been pushed into the water: arrest her inspector. I give you my statement too. She tried to kill me and you got proof too and this is the original video too and you may go ahead and check it out with cyber security. And last time on your saying I had let these people go but not this time. I want them behind the bars for trespassing my private property. I need actions to be taken right away. Or I’ll take matter to the ACP. I hope you are clear on this. Right now.
Inspector: no need to call ACP I Will take them in custody. Mr Laksh we have proof against you too.
Ragini and dadi are taken by lady inspector and rest by inspector himself.
Swara: come Sanskar let’s begin the puja.
All do the puja and go back home.
SwaSan are very happy seeing their revenge is finally completed.
Swara dida and uttara are sitting in the living room and chatting while Sanskar is in kitchen with shomi.
Shomi: so when are you telling her? Your feelings? I mean childhood sweet hearts are going to be one again I just can’t wait.
Sanskar: maa… I will tell her soon. Not today though. I have plans for tomorrow. She’s very happy today and I don’t want to give her a shock.
Shomi: as you wish.
Swara goes to her room and pops some pills and sits on the bed. She’s trying not to close her eyes but some how she is. She somehow manages to go to the washroom and puts some water on her face and comes out.
Sanskar: where is Shona? Lunch is ready.
Dida: she’s gone to her room. You sit come.
Sanskar: I’ll call her and come.
Still feeling drowsy she sits on the bed and Sanskar comes by then: are you okay?
Swara: yes.. actually I m feeling slightly tired. So had put some water on my face.
Sanskar: are you sure?
Swara: yes Sanskar ..you tell me why did you come?
Sanskar: yea to tell you lunch is ready. Come.
Swara: actually I wanted to ask you something.
Sanskar: go ahead…
Swara: that day I mean when your parents were killed and you were said to be dead…. I mean how? Dead bodies were found and ??!! I hope you don’t mind telling me.
Sanskar: Swara that day our cousins who stayed abroad… actually my uncle and his wife had passed away long back and Nikhil and Kavita had come home to meet us. My dad took care of them always so they had come and were going back to their home, mom and dad were going to drop them to airport and I guess the goons thought it was me and uttara so they ran the truck over our car and if you remember faces were destroyed. So you know…..
He breaks down
Swara hugs him: I m sorry.. I didn’t mean to hurt you but I don’t know why I thought of asking you. I m so sorry Sanskar.
Sanskar breaks the hug: I think we should go and have our lunch. Come everyone is waiting for us.

Swara: I need to tell you something important.
Uttara: yeah say..
Swara: actually m going to Mumbai tomorrow. I have an urgent meeting with some singers. I need to be there tomorrow itself.
Sanskar: what??!;!!! And you are telling me this now????!!!!
Swara: why are you getting upset? I always tell you one day before??!! Do I not? And I did mention it’s urgent.
Shomi looks at Sanskar and smiles.
Sanskar: I did plan something for you tomorrow and you??!
Swara: come on Sanskar I m really busy with work. Not tomorrow. You can do it some other time.
Didai: when are you leaving?
Swara: tonights flight. After dinner I should be leaving.
Sanskar makes sad face and sits.
Swara: I need to pack my stuff. See you later everyone.
Shomi pats Sanskar: don’t be sad she will come back soon. That time propose her.
Sanskar nods.
