Swara was sleeping. After few hours, she woke up as she was feeling really thirsty. She was still weak. She slowly sat on the bed while wincing in pain. The water was kept on her left side. Swara couldn’t move her left hand so she tried to use her right but her hands were not reaching. Just then she sees a hand taking the water jug and glass. She raises her head and kavita filling the glass of water.

Kavita: You could have called servant or anyone of us.

Swara (cutely): Sorry

Kavita smiles seeing her cute face. She sits on the bed and make swara drink water.

Kavita (monologue); how couldn’t I see her innocence and cuteness? How couldn’t I see her selfless nature? How could I do this to my little sister.

Nikhil was passing by swara’s room, just then he sees kavita. He goes in the room furiously.

Nikhil (angrily): Kavita!

Swara and kavita jerked listening to nikhil’s shout. Kavita kept the glass on the table and stood up. Nikhil held her shoulders tightly.

Nikhil: What were you doing here? Is there anything left?

Everyone comes in the room, listening to his shout.

Sujata (cold voice): What are you doing in shona’s room kavita.

Swara was confused seeing their behaviour towards kavita.

Kavita: Maa, i just came to help swara in drinking water.

Sanskar: Sorry kavita but I don’t believe you.

Swara interrupts: Di is correct. I couldn’t reach the jug of water so she came and helped me.

Nikhil: What is this new drama kavita.

Kavita: Ma, bhai, believe me. I am really guilty of my deeds. And I am not doing any drama.

Sujata: get out of the room kavita.

Kavita cries and runs away to her room.

Swara was very confused.

Sujata: Shona, don’t take tension, just take rest.

Ragini: Ma, papa, you all go I am staying with didi.

Soon everyone goes away except ragini and uttara. Both of them sit on the bed.

Uttara: How are you feeling shona?

Swara smiles and says, “Better, but why everyone is behaving badly with kavita di.”

Ragini tries to change the topic, “Arrey di, why are you taking tension.”

Swara: You both have my swear.

RagUtt got shocked. Now they were helpless.

Uttara takes a deep sigh, “you are in this condition because of kavita.

Swara (surprised): What!

Uttara: Yes, (uttara tells swara everything)

Tears were rolling down the swara’s cheeks. She couldn’t believe that kavita, whom she considered her elder sister could do something like this.

Ragini wipes her tears and says, “Didi, please don’t cry. Don’t cry for those people who don’t care for you.”

Swara: But ragini, uttara, Kavita di is really guilty of her deeds and I can see that clearly in her eyes.

RagUtt was looking at her with amusement as for how easily she forgave kavita.

Uttara (confirms): It means, you forgave kavita

Swara: Yes

Ragini: Di, she did so bad with you but you…

Swara interrupts, “Ragini, first of all, she is our family member. And she didn’t know anything about that man. If she would have known then she would have never agreed with him. She would have never partnered with him. I can clearly see her repenting her mistakes. And if someone is repenting his/her mistakes then that person should be given a second chance. Plus she herself accepted her mistakes. If she wanted then she would have….(sighs) Please try to forgive her.”

Just then they hear a stern voice, “Never”

Swara raises her head and sees sanskar standing with blood shot eyes. He comes in.

Sanskar: I will never forgive her. Just because of her you were nearly going to go away from me, from us.

Swara: But kunwarsa, please for me give her a second chance.

Sanskar: Swara, you take rest. Don’t take stress about these things. Kavita did mistakes so she should be given the punishment.

Swara: But kunwarsa.

Sanskar: Can’t you get this one thing swara, I will never ever forgive her.

Saying this he goes away. Swara gets teary eyes listening to his raged voice.

Uttara: Shona, don’t worry. Whatever bhai said was in anger. His anger will be cooled down soon.

In sanskar’s room.

Sanskar comes in his room and punches on the wall.

Sanskar: Damn! How can I speak to princess like this. But why can’t she understand that I can’t forgive kavita. I can’t give second chance to her.

In swara’s room…

Swara: Ragini, I want to go downstairs.

Ragini: Didi, you are still weak.

Swara (pleaseding voice): Please ragini, uttara.

RagUtt looks at each other. Uttata nods.

Ragini: Ok.

Ragini and Uttara support swara and bring her down to the hall where everyone were sitting.

Shomi saw them. She ran to swara and helped her sitting on the sofa.

Parvati (worriedly): Shona beta, you just got discharged and you already started walking. It’s not good for your health.

Swara: Sorry dadisa, but I want to speak about something important.

Shekhar: What happened beta?

Swara: maa, baba, bua, dadisa. If a person is repenting his/her mistakes then we should give second chance to tha person. Right?

Sujata: Han

Swara: Then please give kavita di a second chance.

Their facial expression changed.

Sujata: Shona, this will not happen.

Swara: Bua, if kavita di would have known that something like this would happen then she would have never done all these things. She is repenting her mistakes. The guilt can be clearly seen in her eyes. And you only think that is she would not have accepted her mistakes then I think…I would have…..(swara stops)…(she sighs) please for me.

Sujata (deeply sighs): ok for you.

Swara smiles widely but her it fades when she sees sanskar looking at angrily and disbelieveingly. He goes back to room angrily. Swara stands up but stumbles due to weakness.

Shomi holds her and says, “Aram se shona.”

Swara: M..M..Ma, please let me go to kunwarsa.

Nikhil: Calm down shona. Wait I will drop you.

Nikhil picks swara and brings her to sanskar’s room. He puts her down and goes away. Sanskar was standing near the window.

Swara: Kunwarsa

Sanskar (angrily): What are you doing here?

Swara walks towards him but again due to weakness she stumbles. Sanskar sees her stumbling, he runs and catches her by her waist. They shares an eyelock.

Sanskar: Princess, you are still not well and already started walking.

Sanskar picks her and puts her on the bed.

Swara: Please listen to me once.

Sanskar faces her.

Swara: We should give them a second chance who repents from their mistakes. Haina.

Sanskar reminsces same thing said by his mum, when he was small.

Ap: Beta, always remember that we should give those people a second chance who are accepting. repenting their mistakes

Sanskar looks at swara and nods.

Swara: and kavita di, is guilty. And kunwarsa (gets teary eyes) I can understand that pain really well when you don’t get family love. Everyone abandoned her and were behaving rudely. I went through that same pain for 16 years.

Sanskar cups her face, “Shhh princess. Stop crying and stop remembering the past which gave you pain. And don’t worry I give kavita a second chance. Happy.

Swara smiles nods. Sanskar wipes her tears by kissing them. He then hugs her.

Sanskar: Sorry for behaving rudely with you. How could I talk to you like this.

Swara hiding her face in his chest, “It’s okay.”
