“WHAT! ” sanskar shouted making everyone jump from their places 

” Yes Sanskar its a custom that bride and groom are not supposed to meet each other till marriage. ” Ragini said with a mischievous glint in her eyes. 

” But she is already my wife. ” sanskar said annoyingly. 

” But you only want a proper marriage right? So you will have to do this. ” Ram said while swara was having a hard time in controlling her laugh seeing sanskar’s expression 

” Aur kya everyone follows these customs. I too had to go through them. ” Laksh said 

Sanskar pulled laksh in a corner while others were busy planning the wedding 

” Abe saale kis janam ka badla le raha? “(you idiot why are you doing this to me?) Sanskar asked laksh exasperated 

” Kyu? Mere time mei to bahut masti ki thi tune. Ab meri bari hai ?” (you enjoyed alot in my time, now its my turn) laksh said winking and went from there. 

“Swara Beta, you want to call someone from your side? ” Ram asked swara

Tears welled up in her eyes remembering her parents. Had they been alive, they would have been the happiest people on this occasion but alas! There was no one. 

She slowly nodded in a no bowing her head down in order to avoid anyone from seeing her tears but can she escape from her sanskar in this? 

He noticed her tears and squeezed her hands gently assuring her from eyes that she is not alone. 

“We are here na uncle. Her bhai bhabhi. ” RagLak said side hugging Swara

” Hum karenge kanyadaan” Laksh said while looking lovingly at swara. 

Overwhelmed with emotions swara hugged both of them. Truly relations are not made out of blood but heart. Everyone smiled looking at trio while uttara hugged sanskar happily. 

At Night

“Sanskar talk to me please” swara shaked sanskar who was pretending to sleep. 

“Sleep swara tomorrow you have a busy day with your bhai bhabhi and nanad. You have to go wedding shopping. Sleep and let me sleep also. ” sanskar mumbled coldly. 

” But I have a husband too whom I am going to remarry.” Swara said cutely

Now this was it for sanskar he rolled over and took swara beneath him. 

“Now you remembered your so called husband? ” he asked annoyed

” What did I do? Why are you angry with me? ” swara asked like a kid

” Thats the problem. You didnt do anything. When Ragini told to stay in their house for a week not even once u opposed her. It was me only who spoke all the time. ” he complained

Swara smiled looking at him and kissed his chin

” My dear patidev its custom. That is what happens in normal marriages” she said slowly caressing his hairs.

“But how will i live without you for a week. ” he said pouting

” I am going for a week to be with you for life time sanskar. ” she told him making him smile. 

” Should I tell you a secret? ” she asked to which he nodded. 

She leaned towards him and whispered in his ears

” Chhup chhup ke milne ka na maza hi alag hota hai” she said pecking his earlobe stunning him. 

He looked at her and she winked? wasting no time he smashed his lips on hers. Breaking the kiss they slept peacefully in each others embrace. 

After three days

In Evening at 5pm

Sanskar was in office checking some important  files looking tired. From last two days he was with his family for the wedding shopping and now in office as the files were really important. Just then Kavita entered his cabin wearing a short dress hardly covering her with a seductive smile. 

“Sanskar sir, I need your signatures on this file. ” she said batting her eyelids. 

” Yeah give. ” he said without looking at her. 

He was reading file when kavita moved towards him and touched his shoulder 

” Sir you look tired. Should I give you a massage? ” she asked seductively 

Sanskar felt uncomfortable under her touch and jerked her hands. 

This was seen by a pair of angry eyes which were of none other than Swara. She came to office after completing the shopping and saw kavita drooling over her sanskar

“Iski to main.. Abhi btati hu” she thought. 

Here Sanskar was continuously trying to jerk her but she is cavity na ?

“Why are you hesitating sir? I am sure you will feel good. Trust me my touch has magic” she said huskily

“Darling. Are you done with your work? ” Swara said lovingly as she entered his office. 

Kavita looked at her with  arrowed eyes while sanskar was in relief as his saviour arrived ??

” What are you doing here? ” Kavita asked angrily. 

” Excuse me Miss Kavita who are you to question my wife. This is her company. She can come whenever she want. ” Sanskar said walking upto swara and holding her by waist. Kavita was watching everything like ???

Swara placed her head on his chest playing with his shirt buttons 

” Baby, what are you doing here with useless people (pointing to kavita). Let’s go home. After two days we have our engagement. So many things need to be decide. ” she said

” Just two minutes. I am almost done. ” He said lovingly pecking her lips. Kavita went in coma seeing this ??????

” Engagement! ” she whispered

” Oh yes engagement. Actually we are remarrying with full rituals. ” Swara told her smirking while sanskar smiled giving a finishing touch to his file. 

” How can you remarry her? I thought you will give divorce to her once u get bored” kavita said to Sanskar

“Oh you see Miss Kavita, my life is very dear to me and Swara is my life. How can I be bored with my life? ” he said smilingly looking at Swara who mouthed him an I LOVE YOU and he pouted his lips gesturing as if kissing her. Kavita was in shock seeing their PDA ????

They started to go when Sanskar stopped and turned 

” Kavita be at my place on the day of engagement. You are my PA so do some work in marriage and yes bring your villian mother as well. ” he ordered. 

Swara clutched his hand in fear on listening that the two vamps will be present in her wedding but he gestured thorough his eyes that everything will be fine. Looking at kavita he said

” Am I clear? ”

Kavita nodded still in shock and SwaSan left for home. 

Soon two days also passed and today was the day of engagement. 

Sanskar was getting ready in brown sherwani in uttra’s while Swara was in SwaSan room. 

” Ragini Swara you both need any help?  ” came a lady of mid fifties 

” No Maa.” Said Ragini

“Ragini bahu, mhari chhori taiyyar ho gyi na? ” came an old lady of early seventies followed by a man of late fifties. 

Swara turned towards the lady and smiled

” See Dadi now tell me how I am looking. ” Swara said all clad in pink lehenga saree with gold jewellery and straight open hair. 

” Nazar na lage. Badi pyaari lag ri chhori” Dadi said putting a kala teeka behind her ear. While the man kept his hand on her head. 

Confused? Let me explain ?

The lady in mid fifties is Annapurna Malhotra,  mother of Laksh and the man with dadi , father of Laksh, Durga Prasad Malhotra & Dadi ofcorse was Laksh’s Dadi ???

Laksh’s family was modern and broad minded. They always wanted a daughter in their family that is why when Ragini came they treated her like princess and now when they came to know that Laksh has accepted Swara as his sister, they came running here and welcomed Swara with open arms in their family. They asked swara to adress them as Laksh does and are now doing everything possible to make this wedding a grand one. 

“I am seriously blessed to have you all. I dont know what good deeds I did in my last birth to get you all. ” Swara said slightly emotional. 

” Its us who did some good deeds Swara because we got you as our daughter.” Dp said

“Hann Swara &  In this one week we will fulfill all the void that is created within u due to lack of love of your parents. ” Ap said smiling. 

Swara smiled with tears in her eyes. 

” Chalo chalo wipe your tears. This is just the beginning. There is alot of happiness waiting for you dear sister. ” Said laksh who had just entered the room to take swara downstairs. 

Swara wiped her tears and they shared a family group hug before taking her downstairs. 

Here Sanskar was time and again looking towards the stairs waiting for his queen. 

” where is she? ” he thought 

” Have patience bhai. She will come” Uttara said teasing him for his desperation. 

He blushed. Just then his eyes fell on an angel descending the stairs. She looked so beautiful in his gift. Swara admired the surroundings. MM today looked no less than a bride with lights and her favourite orchids all around. Roaming her eyes all around her eyes got locked with those of her prince looking devilishly handsome in the sherwani she selected with perfectly gelled and combed hairs. They had a short eyelock abd then she was made to stand besides him. He was continuously looking at her while she blushed under his intense gaze. 

The people were admiring and blessing the new couple while two souls were burning seeing them- kavita and kaveri. They were asked by Sanskar to serve drinks to the guests?

“Agar dekhna khatam ho gaya ho to jamaisa rasam shuru kare? ” Dadi said making SwaSan embarrassed 

” Ek uttara kam thi kya jo ab ye dadi bhi mere pyaar ki dushmann ban gyi hai” he murmered which was listened by Swara who tried hard controlling her laugh. 

Soon the ceremony started and uttara passed the ring to Sanskar and Ragini to Swara. They exchanged the ring making the other wear it in ring finger which is connected to heart. Everyone clapped with smiles never leaving their faces while SwaSan had an intense eyelock promising each other silently to be together forever. 

Sometimes later

Everyone got busy in dinner and Grabbing the opportunity sanskar silently dragged swara to their room making Swara confused. 

“Sanskar what are you doing? Anyone will see. ” she asked as soon as Sanskar locked the room. 

” Dont worry uttara and Raglak will handle” he told

“But why are we here. Its our engagement. ” she said 

” Exactly. Its our engagement and let me celebrate it my way. ” he said winking. 

Swara blushed and closed her eyes while he leaned and captured her soft lips in his. It was a gentle sweet kiss with sanskar sucking her lower lip and she his upper. It turned into a passionate one as soon as their tongues met. 

Breaking the kiss with heavy breathing joining their foreheads he said

“Oh Swara! You dont know how much I want to make you mine right now. ”

” Then make me yours. ” she said

” No I want our wedding night to be special. ” he said pecking her forehead

” Waise bhi you are leaving today. ” he said making faces. Swara giggled

” I had thought it would be very easy to meet you with only RagLak around but now everyone is here & specially dadi. Never leaves you. Huh. I wonder I am your husband or she is” he said pouting

“Comeon Sanskar just for a week I am going in RagLak mansion. Then I will be here with you forever. ” she said hugging him while he caressed her hairs. They stood there for sometime. 

” Sanskar” she called him after few minutes still in his embrace. 

“Hmmm” Sanskar hummed in response. 

“Everything will be fine right? I am getting scared. All of a sudden so much of happiness. I got you, a full family and everything I craved throughout my life. I am afraid God might take everything from me. ” she said hugging him tightly. 

He broke the hug and cupped her face. 

” No Swara. Nothing like that will happen. You had enough of sufferings and now is the time for happiness. I will not ket a single tear now come in your eyes. ” he said  and pecked her forehead. 

” I love you” she said lovingly looking at him. 

“I love u too” he replied. 

“Bhai! Come fast. Dadi is looking for Swara bhabhi. Its time to leave. ” Uttara said standing out. 

SwaSan came out and left downstairs along with uttara unaware of two pairs of rageful eyes watching them. 

” Let me see how will you marry him Swara. You are only born to be my servant. ” Kaveri said with venom in her voice.
