Chapter 3

After Laksh told them about the accident and Sanskar’s death…
Everyone was broken, they were crying badly on their fate.

Last rights of that body was done who by Laksh was declared as Sanskar but his face was completely damaged because of colliding first with truck then with the stone nearby.

All this while Swara was in her room, everyone tried to call her but she was admant not to come down and believe what they were saying at last leaving her they did his last rites. After that came back to MM..

In Swasan’s room.

Dard mein bhi yeh lab muskura jaate hai
Beete lamhein hamein jab bhi yaad aate hai (Repeat once)

Swara was sitting on the floor keeping her head on the bed, she was sure that it was not Sanskar but still she was scared, very scared to think where he was. She was completely broken on knowing he met with an accident but still some hopes were alive in her.
She was trying to call him but everytime it says the same that his phone is switched off. Slowly her tears started to betray her and hopes started to fade away..

She started reminscing their moments together.

Chand lamhaaat ke waaste hi sahi
Muskuraakar mili thi mujhe jindagi (Repeat once)

Teri aaghosh mein din the mere kate
Teri baahon mein thi meri raate kati
Aaj bhi jab woh pal mujhko yaad aate hai
Dil se saare gamon ko bhula jaate hai

She remembered about their marriage and smiled between the tears…



Then she slowly slid herself up the floor and walked towards the dressing table and in mirror she saw her moments with him.. the tears started to flow more down her eyes.







Dard mein bhi yeh lab muskura jaate hai

She then moved forward and saw the sindoor box kept on the table and applied to her hairline…
Mere kaandhe pe sir ko jhukaana tera
Mere sine mein khud ko chhupaana tera (Repeat once)

Aake meri panaahon mein shaamo sehar
Kaanch ki tarah woh toot jaana tera
Aaj bhi jab woh manjar nazar aate hai
Dil ki viraaniyo ko mita jaate hai

She turn around and saw him standing near the couch…

“Swara please yaar. Give me my phone. I am not able to find it.” He said
looking for his phone around and creating a mess..

“Haan Sanskar. Abhi deti hoon.” She replied and walked towards him and when she reached close then he disappear from there..

She sat down with the thud and kept crying and remembered how he always used to support her during hard times and make her smile.

She again looked around the room hoping to find him once but she get only disappointment. His smiling face was coming in front of her every now and then but he himself was lost somewhere.. this thought make her go more weak….



After 13 days.

It has been 13 days to the incident and still the house was silent and full of grief..

In these 13 days, Swara never came out of her room even for once it looked as if his room and their memories is giving her the power to live. Uttara used to go and forcefully make her eat food giving promises of Sanskar a bit.

There is a puja at home for Sanskar.

All were busy in its preparation, dressed in white.

Relatives started to gather and everyone sat down.. the pandit started some mantras.

Inside the room..

She was lying on the bed lifeless… but suddenly sat down on the bed with a jerk..

“How can you do this? How can you? Why Swara Why? Why are being so weak? Why are you behaving as you belived what Laksh said? How could you do this? Instead of trying to find him you are crying.. if Sanskar would have been in your place he would have never belived this and would have done everything to find you… while you fell down the cliff everyone believed that you died but it was Sanskar who let his pain overcome his faith and love for you but you…
Is your love for him this much weak?”
Her mind said her…

“No No No… my love for him is not this much weak. I will find Sanskar.. i wont cry now.. i wont…” she said to herself and wiped her tears…
She get ready in a salwar suit and applied vermillion and wore mangalsutar.

She smiled seeing herself in the reflection.

“I promise Sanskar.. I will find you and  prove everyone wrong here.. I love you..” she said..
“But first I have to go to Laksh and ask him many questions..” she continued.

After this she made her way to Raglak’s room but on not finding anyone…
She went down and saw people dressed in white and crying.. she was confused on seeing this.. she went forward and saw that Laksh was about to place a garland of flowers on the photo… when Swara ran towards him and pulled him and slapped him hard making him stumble behind.

“Swara…” he whispered and everyone looked at her shocked as how she is dressed… they all thought she accepted till now that Sanskar died as she didnt say a word but they were wrong.

“What the hell, Laksh? Didnt I told you that that man was not my Sanskar. My Sanskar will come and how could you?” She roared making him gulp in fear.

Ragini came forward and held Swara from shoulders…

“Swara.. believe it.. that man was only Sanskar and why are you behaving this way and this sindoor and mangalsutar.. Swara you have to belive it that SANSKAR IS DEAD… HE IS NO MORE… HE WILL NOT COME BACK…” said Ragini shaking her.

While she felt a sudden push and a slap across her face.. everyone turned and saw that Uttara slapped Ragini.

“Uttara.. yeh kya tha? How could you slap her?” Said laksh from behind and held Ragini for support.

“I cant slap her but you can do whatever you want na..” she said and Laksh looked confused at her.

“Dont be confused, Mr. Laksh Maheshwari. How could you do this? Even after knowing that that man was not my bhai.. you still make everyone believe on you lies.. and your wife even knowing everything.. she is speaking bullshit. What do you expect from me to do her arti… No.. this is what she deserves and you too…”

She moved forward and held his collar.

Everyone looked on shocked at her behaviour…

Dp asked everyone to leave… they left the house..

“Uttara yeh tum kya keh rhi ho and yeh kaisa bartav(behaviour) hai?” Asked dp angrily to her.

“Vaise hi jaisa ek khooni ke saath krna chahiye.. (same as we should do with a murderer)” she said shocking everyone.

“What you thought Mr. Laksh Maheshwari.. you will do whatever you want but we will never be able to come to know about this?” She asked angrily.

“Laksh.. yeh uttara kya keh rhi hai? (What is uttara saying?)” Asked ap questioning him.

“Main batati badi maa.” Said uttara.
