Chapter 2

Scene 1

Phone slipped down Swara’s hand being shocked…

“Sanskarr..” she uttered with great difficulty..

She was just staring at an unknown point without saying anything else.

Everyone around started to panic seeing her state, they guessed something bad happened.

“Swaraa..” Ragini rushed first towards her and shook her a little from her shoulders on not getting response.

“Please Swara… speak something what happened?” Ragini asked almost begging her.

Swara then turned her gaze towards her.

“Ragini. Fight. Accident. Scream. Sanskar..” she managed to say these words without senses..

“Swara. Swara…” she shaked her hardly this time.
“Is Laksh fine?” She asked from her.

She looked at her then realised everything and after gaining her senses.

“I have to save him. Yes I have to save him.” Saying this she ran towards the entrance for saving her life but Ragini held her hand and made her stop.

“Swara stop where you wikk find him.. Laksh is with Sanskar… he will save him.” Ragini said trying to make her understand but she jerked her hand and started moving out.

She stopped when she saw laksh coming inside the hall.

“Lakshhh…” she whispered and ran towards him.

“Where is Sanskar laksh? What happened to him? Is he fine? That scream? Please Laksh speak up… speakkk upp nowww….” She said getting angry and restless on his silence more and more.

Sujata moved forward and held her from her shoulder.

“Chori usse v bolne ka moka de
(Give him a chance to speak)” sujata said to swara.

Swara nodded and looked at him with eyes full of questions while he was avoiding her gaze and looking down.

“Laksh… speak up.” She said angrily grabbing his collar.

“Swara.. Sanskar.. met with accident.. he dashed with a truck while moving back…” he lied looking away.

“Whatttt?????” Swara shouted at the top of her lungs.

“Where is he now? Laksh where is Sanskar?” She managed to say while tears started to flow her eyes.

“Lakssshhh…..” she demanded angrily.

He looked away..

“Aajiye..” he said to someone.. and few wardboys came inside with a stretcher in their hands.

The stretcher was covered with the white cloth.

Everyone present in the hall looked shocked at this.

Everyone has a slightest hint of what it can be but they dont wanted to think of it at all.. Never.

“Laksh yeh kya ho rha hai?” Ap asked coming forward.

He came forward and held her hands.

“Maa.. Sanskar…” he said pointing towards the body on the stretcher.

She jerked him away and moved backwards while everyone looked towards him being shocked.

“Lakshh chore pagal ho gya kya tu? Yeh kaise ho ske hai? Na yeh na ho ske?” Said Sujata not believeing his words and murmuring many things under breath.

She turned towards Swara and looked at her.. she was standing like a statue.. nothing can be predicted from her face.

“Laksh.. kya bol rhe hai aap? Kya hua yeh sab? Kaise?” Ragini asked moving towards the Laksh..

He narrated the whole incident took place there and said that he while walking backward dashed with a truck.

Everyone was crying at this except one.

After that.

***Flashback***

Laksh moved away from there thinking all these things and how he pushed him… he didnt intend to but it happened in the heat of moment..

He realised…
He started to move faster and then rubbed his hands on his clothes trying to remove it.

He thought to go back to him and to help him but he was scared of being found… if everyone came to know about truth then…

He started to move then saw a ambulance broken in the middle of road.

He moved towards it and saw two men talking.

He moved forward and asked about them…

One of the two replied that ‘this man met with an accident about 30 minutes away from here and died on the spot of not getting emergent help.’

This came as a shock to him..

This was exactly the same place where Sanskar met with the accident.

He stumbled but they caught him.

He told them that its his brother and they get along with him and went towards MM.

***flashback ends***

“He met with the accident and died on spot before I can do anything.”  Laksh again lied.

“Believe me chachi its hard to believe but this is Sanskar and he is no more.” He said moving towards Sujata.

He opened his mouth to say something but stopped when he felt a heated sensation on his cheek.

He looked upwards and saw Swara have slapped him..

“Dont you dare to repeat the blo*dy words, Mr. Laksh Maheshwari.” Swara shouted angrily.

“And this (pointing towards the stretcher) is not Sanskar. Did you get it? ( she held his collar and shook him while he stayed there looking down)..
This is not My Sanskar. My Sanskar can never leave me. He can never leave me. Did you get this?” She said angrily.

“Swara believe me he is Sanskar.” Laksh said trying to hold her shoulders but she just pushed him..

“No he is not.” She again said.

“See Swara look at him once. He is Sanskar, his clothes, his watch, his fac..” before he can complete.

She again slapped him hard.
He winced in pain a little.

“Not a word more. I said he is not. He cant be.” Swara said not believing his words.

She said and ran upstairs towards her room and bolted the room.
She didnt shed a tear.

On the other side.

Everyone was crying on seeing this.

“Chore.. yeh na ho skta. Mara chora.. jii. Mahra Sanskar..” sujata said and broke down into tears sitting on her knees.

While Ram hugged her and consoled her.

Ap and dp were also crying seeing the view.

“He cant be my bhai. Bhabhi is saying truth.” Said uttara and started to move back.

Shomi was crying holding Ayush near her chest while Shekar too had tears in his eyes.
