Part 3
“No amount of guilt can change the past and no amount of worrying can change the future.”

At Nataraj Palace (Scene continues)

Arnav: “I’m not rich like you. But I wanted to gift you something with my money. I thought of giving it to you on your birthday. But I think this is the right time to give. And you know, this was Choti’s idea(smiling sadly). Khushi, how can you even think that Choti will do something like this? Let me remind you that we got married only because of her help.”

Listening this, Khushi felt guilty. She accused the wrong person.

Khushi: “Then how come I got those Divorce papers from your cupboard?”

“I will tell you Bhabhi” – a voice was heard at the door..

Khushi: “Ragini!!!”

Flashback

At Nataraj Palace

Everybody in the Palace looked sad. After all, the Prince was going to US for his further studies.

Sanskar: “I’ll miss you Mom and Dad.”

Ram & Sujatha: “We’ll miss you too. Come back soon.”

Sanskar then noticed Shona who was standing far from everyone, facing her back. He went towards her and called “Shona!”

Shona somehow controlled her tears and turned to him and replied with small smile “Hmm!!”

Sanskar: “Will you miss me?”

Shona(smiling sadly): “Nope. Will you miss me?”

Sanskar(lightening the mood): “Nope. Who is going to miss you Chudail?”

Shona(fake angry): “Haww!! You called me Chudail?”

Sanskar: “Why, is it not good? Okay, let me think of some other name..” Saying this, he tapped his forefinger on his chin.

Shona: “Duggu, I’m not going to leave you.” Saying this she ran to catch Sanky, who was already running in full speed. Everybody laughed at their silly-silly fights.. Ram & Sujatha admired them.

After sometime, they became tired of running and laughed wholeheartedly.

Ram: “Sanskar, time for your flight.”

Sanskar: “Yes Dad. Coming..” To Shona: “So, Miss Chudail, see you soon.”

Shona(glassy eyes): “Ya. Take care. Bye.”

After Sanskar leaves for airport, everybody disperses back to their rooms.

Arnav: “Why didn’t you say that you love him, Choti?”

Shona(in tears): “Because he loves someone else and I want his happiness.”

Arnav: “How can you say that he loves someone else?”

Shona: “He told me that he loves Kavitha Mishra, his classmate.”

Arnav(hugging her): “Shona don’t be sad. It was your destiny. If he is for you, then he will surely come back.”

Shona(wiping her tears): “I know Bhai. Bhai, I have some work. I’ll come after some time.”

Arnav: “Where are you going Choti?”

Shona: “To the terrace.”

Shona walks towards the terrace. The terrace was decorated beautifully with lots of balloons. Each balloon had ‘I LOVE YOU SANSKAR’ written on it. Shona started to remove the decorations…..

(I hope readers understood why Shona decorated the terrace)

Present

At Nataraj Palace

“I will tell you Bhabhi” – a voice was heard at the door..

Khushi: “Ragini!!!”

Listening “Ragini”, somebody’s face became pale.. (Guess who?)

Ragini: “I’ll tell you the truth, Bhabhi.”

Khushi(trying to hug her): “When did you come from London?”

Ragini(showed her hands to stop): “Today morning.”

Khushi: “Ragini, are you angry with me?”

Ragini(tearing up but stern): “No Bhabhi. I’m not angry with you. I’m angry with myself that I could not protect my Shona Didi from you all.”

Sanskar(calmly yet authoritatively): “Ragini, it would be better if you don’t utter her name in this Palace. You don’t know what she has done…”

Ragini(shouting): “I’m not talking to you Sanskar Maheshwari. So, it would be better if you keep your mouth shut.”

Sanskar: “Wow!! I don’t understand what black magic that girl did on you that you started shouting on me, Ragini..”

Ragini: “I can ask you the same question Mr. Sanskar.. What black magic Kavitha did on you that you believed her lies?”

Sanskar: “Kavitha is better than your Didi. She doesn’t back stab others like your Didi did. Now I even doubt that your Didi is the reason for our breakup! She is such a cheap…”

Ragini(hell angry): “Enough Mr. Sanskar Maheshwari. Bohot bol liya apne aur bohot sun liya maine. Ab aap sab meri baat suniye.” (Translation: You have been talking a lot. Now you all listen to me)

Everyone in the Palace became shocked as they thought Ragini was a calm and quiet girl. (Author’s POV: When it comes to their family, Gadodias become Gundas)

At Gadodia House

A woman was crying badly and a man was trying to calm her. They are Shekhar and Sharmistha.

Shomi(crying): “Shekhar, Why did she committed this sin? I’m not a good mother Shekhar. I could not giver her good values. How could she do that? Didn’t she think about her family, about us?”

Shekhar(hugging her): “Don’t think about her Shomi. Now she is no one to us. We have no relation with her. She is dead for us. Don’t waste your tears for those who don’t care about you. Now you take rest. You are not well.”

He makes her lay down and pats her to sleep.

At Nataraj Palace

Ragini walked towards Kavitha who was all sweating badly.. (Author’s POV: Lagta hai Cavity ko nimbu pani chahiye) Ragini smirked seeing her sweating..

Everybody’s attention shifted towards the duo..

Ragini(touching Kavitha’s forehead): “Hey Kavitha. The Palace is full of AC. Then why are you sweating dear?”

Kavitha(stammering): “N..o No…. I’m not swe…at…ing….. (Author’s POV: Kaash mein uska mooh dekh paati)

Annapoorna(angrily): “Ragini, don’t scare her. She is innocent. I know these are all your tricks to trap Kavitha. But I won’t let it happen.”

Ragini(sarcastically): “Arey Annapoorna ji, aap toh bura maan gayi. Maine toh abhi kuch shuru bhi nahi kiya hai.”(Translation: Annapoorna ji, you felt bad? I have not even started anything)

Ram: “Ragini bete, What is all these?”

Ragini(calmly): “Ram uncle, just give me sometime. Somethings should be put to an end, today.”

Sanskar was going to interrupt but Ram stopped him..

Ram: “Go on, Ragini bete.”

Ragini nodded and called “Lucky”

Laksh Singhania(lawyer by profession, a close friend of Sanskar) enters..

Laksh: “The Divorce papers that was found in Arnav Bhai’s cupboard were made by Mrs. Annapoorna Maheshwari.

Everybody were shocked with the revelation……
