Chapter 21:

swara wipes her tears and turns happily saying sanskar name…
Swa: Dadi… she tks her inside…

Since one wk swara was trying hard to talk with her didi but Ragini is not ready to listen her…  she doesn’t have idea when her didi will forgive her… she sighs and nods… 

Dadi: I spoiled my both daughters lives… it’s all bz of me… she sits n chair..
Swa:no dadi u r nt mistake…
Dadi: shona beta will u do one thing… swa: dadi u just order me…

Dadi: tomo u leave to ur sasural, it’s waste of time ur didi is not same Ragini she was changed… 
Ur dadi is right she is not our Ragini, Shekar enters…
Swa: Without my didi acceptance I won’t go there…she is same Ragini my didi only… its ur way of seeing her changed…

Shekar: beta try to understand… swa: no papa… 
Dadi(sternly): u r married… sanskar is everything to you now… u r gng thr tomo that’s final…

Swa: dadi u oly said when my mom and dad left me alone in this world… she oly taken me at her embrace… didi gv her 16 yrs to me, she paid her childhood for my happiness… she gv me a family… she never made me felt absence of my mom and dad… hw can be I live happy when she isn’t…

Dadi: she is not ready to listen u… 
Swa: without her presence I married na… so oly she is angry… shekar and dadi gv up to her stubbornness… dadi caresses her face… Dadi: I hope soon ur didi would understand you…

Dadi was arranging dinner at table… Swara went to call Ragini but she doesnt gt any response from her… she panicked and continously knocks her room door… swa: didi pls open door plsss… she shouts… hearing swara voice shekar and dadi goes to chk her…

Shekar: beta… swa: papa didi ws not opening door, if she did something.. no no.. she stammers and cries… shekar and dadi consoles her and also shouts Ragini to open door…

dadi ask shekar to brk door but before itself Ragini open door lifeless…swara rushed to her and hugged ragini tight…Swa: u alright na… she cupped her face…

Ragini looks at her sister whose face was pale… even hers… bth eyes are swollen… Rags: Sanskar…  swara looks her confused thn changes her direction to Ragini gaze… sanskar was standing at entrance…

Swasan  stares eachother with teary eye… there eyes shows how much thy missed each other… it may be a wk but fr thm it’s like  more than a year… it was the first tym both away from each other after thr marriage… what was he doing here.. she asked him to cme after he gt call frm her didi…

Sans: vo ragini called me… swara  looks her didi… Rags: why you’re standing thr, come inside… (to swara) Shona… swara gt happy finally her didi talks with her…
Rags: if I ask something to you… u gv me na… 
swa(wipes her tears): haan.. didi will gv whatever you want..? even myself… sanskar gt afraid, he dnt hv any idea what she is going to ask…

Rags:If supposed I asked sanskar… 
Swa:di..di.. Rags: I asked u something… swa:I cant say no to u but I knw u won’t ask me which I cant gv u… 
Ragini Smiles faintly: so much trust on ur didi… (looking at dadi and shekar ) here none trust me… I bcm uninvited guest to everyone thn why u are gvng importance to me… haan..?

Swa: I’m not everyone, I’m ur shona…u r my ma frnd didi everything… hw could I neglect u..?
Rags: thn why are you doing this to me..? Did any ma snatch thr childrens happiness…? Swa: didi…

Rags: still u didn’t ask me what I want…? Swara looks on… Rags: I want my happiness… its lies on urs… I always tried to stop ur tears but today I made u cry lot… ur didi was too bad… I lost my sense hearing ur marriage with him… will u forgive ur didi..? She holds her ear… swara hugs her tight… swa: no my didi was not bad… she is too good, dnt dare to talk ill about her…

Rags:u aren’t snatch my love its me who left him… he never loved me shona… I ignored u bz I was guilty… I’m sorry… swara pulled herself from Ragini and made face… 
Ragini smiles: I’m sorry I won’t ask sorry again… swara frowns:again… Ragini chuckles and pulls swara cheeks… Rags: Mera shona…  swa:ouch didi… swara rubs her cheek…

Shekar and Dadi admires thr bond… how understanding they’re… sanskar understoods why always swara loves her didi so much… trio smiles seeing them.. Rags goes to sanskar…

Rags: sanskar dnt u knw married girl shouldn’t stay her mayka morethan 2 days thn everyone points thr fingr on her… thn why u left ur wife these many days… Idiot tk ur wife with you… sanskar smiles…

Sans: what should I do..? My wife loves her didi morethan me… swa:haan mister my didi was always my first priority… if u have any prob thn u may leave from here… swaragini hugs eachother…

Sans:no no I don’t have any prob but I have one doubt u bth aren’t… I mean to ask… aren’t you both… he gvs thm doubtfull look… swaragini rolled thr eyes… swaragini:youuuuuuuuuuu… he runs all over the room, thy runs behind him…

After sometime swasan bid bye to all… Rags: sanskar… he stops… swara went outside has she felt her didi wants to talk with him…

Rags:I… I’m sorry, I’m sorry for everything… if u can thn forgive me.. Sans: Ragu dnt be sorry  bz of u oly I gt my true love…. thanks for everything… she nods…

Rags: yeah take care of my shona… if at all i saw tears in her eyes thn u hv to face real me… 
Sans: haan haan meri ma… i remember ur words… she is my life i wont allow nothing bad happened to her… Rags:thats better… both smiles.. 
Rags: sanskar, shona loves u lot… dnt mk her wait so long… he nods and  leaves…

As soon sanskar went out,  tears are made ways from her eyes… no matter what she loves him that’s true… but she did  a mistake by misunderstanding him… shekar keeps his hand on her shoulder… she quickly wipes her tears…

Rags: Papa I did right na… Dadi: today u made us proud again… she keeps her hand on her hair… shekar: forgive ur papa I behave badly with you… Rags:it’s my mistake only… her eyes moist…
Shekar: let ur pain out, dnt hide it.. ur papa is with u only beta… she hugs him tight and cries…

Sans:our home missed u so much… swa:only home..? Sans: ur handsome also… she smiles…
Swa:even ur kiddo also missed you… Swara leans on his shoulder by holding his elbow…  everything is fine… her didi was no more angry on her and her handsome also loves her… she remembers how he indirectly admit that he loves her…

Swa(innocently): sanskar before u leaving me badi u said something like awake.. what was that… he understood what she ia asking… Sans(teasingly):  oh kiddo nothing I said don’t be sleepy head… awake early that’s it… she takes her hand and turn away…

Swa (to herself): I knw he won’t accept easily… swara dnt u gt anyone… why u fell in love with this idiot… she gvs different reaction, Sanskar chuckles inwardly…

He stops his car when thr car crossed at Howrah bridge… he gt down frm car and opened door for her… she looks on but without asking anything swara follows him…

It’s midnight, hustle bustle Kolkata city is too calm as far no one is present except two of them and sounds of some insects… they are eyeing the beauty of nature, standing in Howrah bridge which is above the Hooghly river… a view of city… the moon and twinkling stars are reflecting in river and its playing hide and seek in partially clouded sky…  fragrance of trees and light muddy scent lingered in the air giving a peaceful effect… lovely weather, holding ur loved one hand…is anything needed more than that..? Swara is admiring the pleasant full sight but his gaze on her…  The cold breeze ruffled her hair and tickling  her face… her eyes are swollen but still it has some sparks… her innocent smile, calm face… moon lights fell on her  which mks her glows more… he feels pleasant in his heart.. He tangled his fingers in hers and calls her name lovingly…

Sans: Swara… she turns towards him, he locked his eyes with her… Sans: it’s not ur attraction… she looks on…

Sans: It’s my fear, fear of losing you fear of being alone… my insecurity… my inferiority being 10yrs older to u… but nw I was awake… I don’t feel any shame to accept this infront of u… you’re right, Love doesn’t knows age, looks, religion, status, anything… We can’t help to whom we fall in love… It’s only we and that person… I had fallen for you swara…  her heart skips by hearing him…  He takes her hand in his palm and kissed her knuckles with full of love…

Sans: Swara I Love You… she blinks at him… she knw he also loves her but when he confess his love she bcm emotional… swara looks him emotionally, She has tears in her eyes…. Swa: what u told…? She ask him to tell again…

Sanskar kisses her eyes… Sans: hmm, Golden words are not repeated again… swara jaw dropped hearing him … he chuckles…

Swa: huh… You’re so mean sanskar… Sans: I’m… she made a face… he drags her towards him… she hits his chest hard…

Sans: I Love You… by kissing her top of head… She smiles and ask him to tell again… Sans(Stretched): I Love You… 

Swa: loudly…  uff how many times she was asking him… she was really greedy… but hearing those 3 magical words from loved ones really special na… sanskar smiles moved back little…

Sans: I Love My kiddo… I Love my wife… (Kneels down) I Love You Swara… he utmost shouted from top of his lungs…

Swara smiles with tears… he extend his arms, sans: will u..? she threw herself in his arms with full force… he stumbles but managed… Swa: I Love you too… he wipes her tears… sans: already we’re standing above river, its better if u close ur dam… she hits him playfully… both smiles…

They lies on his car bonnet facing sky… He encircled his hand around her waist and entangling her finger in his… she place her head on his chest, hearing his heart beat…. the most safest place in her life…she feels too protective… He feels too blessed having her in his embrace… she starts to count stars…

Sans: swara dnt u really feel bad I being old to you… turning towards her… she parted herself him…

Swa: again u started… she frowns… again he tk her in embrace… Swa: Sanskar you knw very well it’s normal thing, in our culture a girl should get married to elder guy… lyk  I married to u… see how cultured girl I’m… ?

Sans: it’s not lyk that swara, just think practically still u doesn’t finished ur studies but me, I crossed ur age I’m at the stage of settling eve…

Swa(cuts him): Sanskar when I love u, why should I care about ur age… I Love you and I mean it… as u said if we think practically thn being younger than you I hv advantages only… whenever I do mistakes, I made a blunder u r thr for me to correct it… to guide me, to protect me mostly to love me… u are always thr for me.. Aren’t you…? He senses her love in every words… He nods with a teary smile…

Swa: I will feel bad if at all this Old man not with me… pointing sanky…
Sans: this old man never ever leaves his little girl… by kissing her forehead…  Swa(mockingly): sanskar i think already we’re in above river its better if close ur dam.. sanskar smiles…

Sans: come lets leave, it’s too late… She nods both gt dwn from car bonnet… 
Swa: sanskar… sans: hmm… swa: wo…umm… I..We…

Sans: swara say it clearly… swa: shall we… Sans: shall we… Swa(closing her eyes): kiss..? 
Sans: what..? his eyes are literally popped out…

What I asked, just kiss but he is reacting like I asked him to murder someone… Oh God see he is looking me has some criminals… dnt knw what I’m gonna to do with this handsome liar (lawyer) huh… (she pouts) unromantic old man… she is murmuring herself…

He smiles and closes her mouth by placing his lips on hers… swara eyes widened with his unexpected sudden kiss… she oly asked but doesnt expect dis one… she freezes at the spot… she doesn’t respond him neither broke kiss… he pulls her close to him by holding her waist…  sanskar brk the kiss when he feels out of breath… she touches her lips and rewind what happened now… sankar chuckles at her reaction… she turns crimson red and hide her face in his chest…

Sans (dramatically): Oh God, don’t know what will I do with this little Girl… huh she doesn’t even knw to kiss… so unromantic kid…  she make face… he chuckles…

Swa: I’m not kid… sans: oh really… then, who are you… Swa: ur wife only ur wife… I’m Mrs.Swara Sanskar Maheshwari… she shouts lyk crazy…

Sans: Swara don’t u think u r disturbing this city now… swa: so what I want everyone to knw me as ur wife… I want everyone to knw I gt world best man… hey river, moon do u all heard me…? What I said… I’m his wife…. again she shouts…

The moon and stars are fully hide between the clouds… swa: see na hw jealous of me these moon and stars, they’re hiding… as soon it’s starts to drizzle… 

Swa: huh even this sky also… she made a face… he smiles… 

She holds his collar of shirt and drag him towards her …Swa(whispers): I’m not kid Mr.Maheshwari… by saying this she kissed his lips… he responds her back… Nature’s are blessing them in forms of rain or as swara says they’re crying in jealous…?
