The door clicked open of our heavenly couple’s room as our princess’s prince came inside to see his princess sleeping peacefully on their king size bed.
“Oh my god its 7 and swara slept at 1 that means she slept for 6 hours! She didn’t even have lunch.” Sanskaar was shocked because swara never sleeps this long!
He went close to her and sat beside her and caressed her hair… “Shonaaa jaan..” He called out lovingly.
Swara moved a little but didn’t open her eyes and shifted on his lap. Sanskaar smiled and kissed her hair
” Shona… Kya hogaya jaan..?”
Swara didn’t answer but shifted her head to his chest and started crying heavily. Sanskaar hugged her and patted her head. ” Kya hua shona..? Kyun rorahi ho..?”
Sanskaar had tears in his eyes seeing his love’s state. He stayed like that for sometime until he heard his love’s voice ” Sanskaar..?”
Sanskaar was extremely happy as he heard her voice for the first time until he came back.
” haa shona.”
” Sanskaar thand lagrahi hai.”
Sanskaar hugged her more tightly and as he did his hands came in contact with swara’s neck which was burning like hell!
” Shona tumhein to bukhaar hai..”
Sanskaar started to panick and made swara lie down on the bed but she clinged more on sanskaar so somehow he reached the side table drawer and took out the thermometer. He inserted the thermometer in her mouth and waited and stared at her pale face.
He took it out and saw it was 104! He called the doctor but he said that he was outside the city for 5 days and there was a hospital strike for a week. Doctor told him not to panick and keep wet cloth on her head and make her rest and give her medicine and see her state after two days. Sanskaar said ok and cut the call… He saw his princess sleeping peacefully in his embrace. He freed himself carefully and went down in the kitchen and got a bowl of cold water and some strips of cloth. He came upstairs and sat beside her. He started putting cold cloth on her forehead which reduced her fever a little and then made soup for her and went to wake her up.
“Shona baccha uthjao..”
Sanskaar made her sit holding her protectively around her waist and made her drink the warm soup an ate some himself. He gave her medicine to which she protested but he gave it somehow and made her sleep. Sanskaar was worried and dozed off beside her.
5:00 am
Sanskaar was lying on his bed and put his ha d on swara’s side but couldn’t find her. He opened his eyes and started worrying not finding swara. He was about to call out to her when he heard the sound of water running down the tap in the washroom. He hurriedly knocked on the door..” Shonaaaa..?”
When he didn’t receive any answer he got more worried and went inside. The sight he saw horrified him…. His life was laying down on the floor fainted on the floor! He rushed to her… ” Swara aankhen kholo princess..” But no answer.
He turned of the tap and saw that she vomited. He cleaned her mouth picked her up and made her lie down on the bed. He sprinkled some water and she regained her consciousness. As she woke up she held her had as she hit the hard floor when she fainted so sanskaar pressed her head for a while until she slept and he also slept beside her checking her time to time.
Next morning:
Sanskaar was the first one to wake up he saw his princess sleeping and let her sleep for a while. After she woke up sanskaar took care of her the whole day taking a leave from office.
5 days later:
“Shona jaan your sickness is getting severe day by day and now we have to go to the doctor.”
Swara got scared as she hated doctors and hospitals… Whenever she got sick in childhood… Her dida’s magic kadha used to do the trick.
She started crying and sanskaar took her in his embrace and told her not to worry.
Sanskaar called the doctor and he said he will be there in half an hour.
When the doctor came swara his her face in her husband’s manly built chest ?? sanskaar started stroking her hair and doctor murthy, their family doc. Checked swara in sanskaar’s embrace.
The doc told sanskaar…” Sanskaar this is not a normal fever we have to do a blood test to find out.” Hearing the word blood test made swara shiver in sanskaar’s embrace. He sensed it and kissed her forehead and held her tightly pushing her face in his chest covering her eyes. Swara clutched his shirt tightly.
As the doc injected the needle… Swara cried in pain, ” aah sanskaar”
“Bas jaan kuch bhi nhi hua…. Relax.”
He patted her back to make him sleep…. The doctor left telling him to collect the reports in the evening and sanskaar made swara sleep checking her time to time like a caring hubby!
