PS: hey you all I know you must be anxious to know about whether I am going to end it soon or not, so giving a break to all your speculations I want to answer this and the answer is “yes”. I have training dear after 2 weeks, followed by a very close friends wedding so won’t be able to write for few months, therefore I have decided to end this story, 4-5 episodes more and then the journey will end…. I know most of you must be feeling bad but believe me I am equally sad but every start has it’s end and so it is…

Chapter 60
Days flew like seconds for Swara and Sanskar, with each passing day they were falling for each other even more….. still they argue, still they fight on silly things but now at end of the day they always together….. Both the families were happy for them, Sharmishtha was overjoyed when Swara told her about this. Sanjeet and Bushra were equally happy and excited for their princess….. Though it was a little surprising for Ashwin but his sister’s happiness is all what matters…. Swara’s family all set for Bhopal visit to discuss about their engagement and wedding…… and she was eagerly waiting for them.

Evening, Siya’s room
Swara and Siya were involved in their daily talks after finishing the teaching session, lying together on the bed……
Siya: Shona Ma, I am so happy….. Ashu bhaiya is coming and we will have so much fun together….
Swara: off course dear, we will go out together…..
“Someone is looking very happy” said Sanskar stepping inside the room…
Siya: (excited) Dad, Ashu bhaiya and all are coming tomorrow, we are planning for an outing like last time….
Swara and Sanskar both looked at each other reminiscing their last visit to upper lake “I hope this time you won’t spoil the trip” he said to her….
Swara: (annoyed) don’t pin it on me, it’s you who spoiled it for all…..
Siya: Dad, Ma please…. Why are you fighting? It wasn’t spoiled but fun….
Swara angrily looked at him for bringing up the topic “I don’t want to go with your dad anywhere” she said in stern voice……
“Ok fine, go with others….. I won’t bother you” he replied calmly, Swara was little surprised over his cool behavior, he didn’t argue or resist….
Siya: (cheerfully) let’s play Ludo…. Will you??
Sanskar: (staring Swara) off course princess, bring the board….
Within no second she was back with the board and all necessary stuffs….. They settled on the bed, covered themselves with a comforter and placed the board over it…… Swara wasn’t looking at him, upset with his words she was silently clinging to Siya….
Siya: (taking the token) Mine is red, and dad’s yellow and Shona ma yours?
Swara: I will take blue….
Siya started shaking the dice in a dice cup and it rolled…. “yes, six” she squealed, Swara smiled over her excitement…. Now it’s dad’s turn, the game progressing with their intermittent turns, Swara phone beeped and a what’s app message popped up…..
“Snobbish girl” she read in mind and looked at him with annoyed face, it was Sanskar’s messaged, he smirked quietly…. And then played his turn….
“Angry bird” again he messaged and it irked her more, she turn to look at him but he pretended to be involved in the game…. She decided to ignore further messages but being impatient couldn’t…..
“You look cute with angry face” she smiled reading this but suppressed it when she found him looking at her…. Siya was all involved in game oblivious of the game going on between Swara and Sanskar…..
“I love you” she read another one and looked up to him who was staring her with intense eyes, she tried hard to suppress her smile but failed, and then smiled back at him…. it amazed her how he always comes up with his unique ways to pacify her….

Next morning, living area…..
It was a Sunday, all were gathered in the hall….. Sharmishtha and Ashwin along with Bushra and Sanjeet they all reached there early in the morning. Elders were involved in discussing about the date and muhurats with pandit… Sanskar has already told them he wants simple functions with just family and few of close friends, not a big fat wedding, Swara was with him in his decision…… all members agreed little unwillingly but Sujata and Laksh were the most displeased one. Sujata stated why they are earning money when they can’t use it on such occasions but Laksh was more sarcastic in his comments, he suggested Swara and Sanskar to run away and get married, at least it would be little exiting than this boring wedding….. But eventually all agreed with a condition that they will throw a grand reception party after wedding…. They planned the engagement to be held on the same week and wedding after 2 months…..
Annapurna: (happily) So, done with the dates…. Thank you pandit ji
Sanjeet: (looking at Swara and Sanskar) congratulations to you two….
They thanked him with a smile….
Bushra: it needs a celebration, what say Sharmishtha…. At least a coffee by our coffee expert
She said looking at Swara, she happily agreed and moved to the Kitchen…..
Sharmishtha: (worriedly) we have only four days for engagement, how everything will be done….
Ram: Sharmishtha ji don’t worry, we are here to do everything….. And they already lessen our burden with the demand of a simple function……
Annapurna: he is right, don’t think so much…..
Sharmishtha was little relieved with their words, Sanjeet and Bushra already assured her they will take care of everything…..
Ashwin: (to his mother) after engagement di will come with us na??
Sharmishtha: yeah, she will…. she told you herself then why you are restless?
Sanskar was in bewilderment by their talks, he was puzzled why Swara didn’t mention anything about it….
Annapurna: (sadly) it will be difficult for us to bear her absence, we all became habituated, especially Siya….
Siya: (cheerfully) it’s ok Dadi ma….. Shona ma has promised me that this time when she will come, will never go…..
All smiled over her innocent enthusiasm but Sanskar was lost in his own thoughts. Swara came there followed by Kaushalya, with coffee for everyone…..
Swara: (passing the cups) what happened? Why you all are smiling?
Sharmishtha: (surprised) Shona how you swayed this fiery princess this time, I was scared what if again she will start crying by the news of your going back….
Swara smiled caressing Siya’s cheek “My girl is all grown up now” she stated looking at her but then the thought of Sanskar made her scared, she quickly turned to look at him, he was sitting there with blank face but she can see the resentment and disappointment suppressed underneath…..

Evening, Sanskar’s room
He was reading some mails on laptop when someone knocked the door, he looked up to see, Swara was there….without giving any reaction, he retreated to his earlier work…… she knew he is angry and upset, so she quietly moved up to there and seated next to him on the bed…. he was still on his work
Swara: Are you planning to invite any of your friends for engagement??
Sanskar: (not looking at her) No….
Swara: Me too, I think it’s better to keep it within the family only….. we can invite them for wedding…
He was silent, not even looked at her for once…..she was aware of his really bad mood…..
Swara: (trying to cool him down) doing some important work??
Sanskar: hmmm, checking some mails…
Swara: (softly) you can do that later, I want to talk to you….
Sanskar: (eyes still on screen) go on, I am listening….
Swara was irritated now, she was trying hard to change his mood but he was adamant…… she slowly closed his laptop and turned him to face her, holding his hand
Swara: (staring him) are you upset??
Sanskar: shouldn’t I be?
Swara: (guilty eyes) I am sorry, I was going to tell you…..
Sanskar: (stern voice) when, on the day of your departure…..
Swara: first listen to me, yo….
Sanskar: (interjecting) No, you listen to me….. Not for once you thought of informing me about this, everyone around me knows about it…. Even Siya, except me…… what do you expect then, I will be joyful??
Swara: it’s just a matter of one and a half month, then we will be together forever…
Sanskar: Swara It’s not your departure that’s troubling me, the point is that you should have told me…. Do you know how I felt when there in hall everyone was aware of it except me?
Swara: I thought you will get upset with the news, so I was planning to tell you this at right time….
Sanskar: wow, great planning ha….
Swara: I don’t….
“Di Ma is calling you” Ashwin interrupted in between standing at the door step…. Swara helplessly looked at Sanskar with sorry eyes but he ignored her pretending to be busy in his laptop again….

Night, guest room
“I am very worried Bushra, how I am gonna manage all this” said Sharmishtha with restless face….
Bushra: (holding her hand) Sharmishtha why are you so worried, Sanjeet is here, I am here…. we will manage everything together…
Sharmishtha: it’s not that easy, you know our condition…. Although I have saved money for Shona’s wedding but that won’t be enough, there are so many things to take care of…. Shekhar has planned so much for this day, for his princess’s wedding….. I just wanted it to be exactly the same as he planned it…
Sanjeet: Sharmishtha, Swara is not only your daughter, she is mine and Bushra’s equally…. And it’s our right to do everything for our princess, although Shekhar is not here but I am here to take care of his every wish….
Sharmishtha smiled looking at them, their unconditional support made their living easy even after losing Shekhar……
Sharmishtha: (teary eyes) your friend turned out such a cheater Sanjeet, he promised to do everything together but left me here alone…..thank God I am blessed to have you two in my life….
Bushra hugged her tightly and rubbed her back to comfort her…..

Next morning, living hall
They all were planning for the day, the old gang was all set to visit a temple in the outskirts of the city, which was also a heritage site…. They were excited for their night out and spending entire day and night at that beautiful place, whereas Laksh has taken an off on Siya’s insistence to redeem for breaking last time’s promise….. Siya and Ashwin together chose the Jungle safari as their destination. Swara was little lost because of Sanskar. Instead of her few attempts to persuade him he was still upset. And all this became more unexciting when Sanskar informed them that he couldn’t go together as same day he has to sign an important contract for which he has to visit nearby district and would only be able to return around night….
Swara: (whispered) Ragini, I want to talk something… let’s go upstairs…
Ragini nodded and soon they were in Swara’s room, Ragini could observe Swara was upset with something….
Ragini: Swara, is something troubling you?
Swara told her everything about the matter….
Swara: Ragini, I didn’t get enough time to talk to him, either he was busy with his office work or I was with family…. So, I was thinking…..
She took a pause and looked at Ragini…..
Ragini: (smiles) So, you want to be here instead of coming with us…
Swara felt little offensive to act as a spoilsport…..
Ragini: it’s ok dear, need not to feel guilty…. In fact, we almost forgot you both need time for each other, these days you hardly get any….
Swara: if he wouldn’t be upset then surely I never quit out….
Ragini: don’t worry, I can understand. You want to stay you can….
Swara: (nervous) But how I am gonna tell this to everyone? I don’t know how they will react….. Siya and Ashu, they surely would be upset…
Ragini: (squeezing her hand) don’t worry, I will manage all…. You just concentrate on your Sanskar
She smiled teasing at Swara, who was feeling relaxed with Ragini’s word…..
