Chapter 53
It’s been three days when Sanskar last saw Swara, after she left from office uninformed… he tried to confront her but couldn’t as most of the time she’s been out excusing herself for some important work and during night he found her sleeping whenever he entered in her room oblivious that she was just pretending to be in sleep. Her sudden changed demeanor troubling him, not only this but he was also bothered about her safety, she was going out alone and this made him angry…..

Early morning, Swara’s room
She just woke up and after getting fresh indulged in her laptop, applying for few of the jobs she searched on various sites…. Her concentration broke when she heard someone entering her room.
“I hope you are not busy” Sanskar said as entered inside, she didn’t expect him to be here at 6:30 in the morning. Sanskar was aware of her habit of waking up early in the morning, so he decided to confront her early in the morning before she leaves again……
“YOU!!!” she exclaimed
He stared her for few minutes, trying to figure out what she was up to…
Sanskar: (stern tone) Swara, what’s going on?
Swara: (averting her gaze) Noting….
Sanskar: Then why you are doing this?
Swara: (working on laptop) doing what??
Sanskar: going out everyday all alone, what important work suddenly popped up?
Swara: I visit city library and spend my time reading some rare books which are not available in the market, do I need your permission for that??
Sanskar looked at her displeased face….
Sanskar: it’s not about permission Swara, you are going all alone…. I am worried about you, if you want to go take driver and security guards with you….
Swara: I don’t need any security….
Sanskar: (annoyed) Swara why you are so obstinate? Don’t you remember what happened last time with you?
Swara: (calmly) Mr. Maheshwari No one has any personal grudges with me here, I barely know anyone…. It’s between them and your family. And if you keep burdening me with your security and all, they might get perception of me being a family then it will turn more dangerous for me….. Otherwise who would be interested in harming a girl who works as your child’s governess? So it’s safe for me to stay away from all this and maintain a distance of employee and employer….
He couldn’t believe her words, every single word she uttered struck him hard. After all his efforts to persuade her, she still the same or perhaps worst….
Sanskar: (pained ayes) knowing everything about how I feel for you, still you consider us as just employee and employer!!!
Swara observed the pain crawled over his face but she ignored remembering the humiliation she suffered in his office….
Swara: I am doing some important work, may I please….
He was stunned over her cold behavior, holding her hand in his he said “Swara we need to talk”. She stared him for a second with her blank face….
Swara: you are right, we need to talk but not now, will talk tonight…..
Sanskar stared in her eyes, trying to ignore the fear quaking inside him due to her strange behavior
“fine, hope you remember your words” he stated looking at her
“I will” she replied with a faint smile…..

Evening, Siya’s room
Swara: Siya, do you love me?
Siya: yes, a lot….
Swara: (making her sit on her lap) will you promise me something?
Siya: (curious) what??
Swara: since you have become good in your studies, you have to always be like this…. I want you to see as a sincere student
Siya: ok, if you will teach me like this, I will….
Swara: you are a grown up girl, now you don’t need me…. sharp kids like you don’t need a permanent tutor….
Siya: (confuse) are you going somewhere? For another exam!!
Swara: No, dear….
Siya: (innocently) Then why you talking all this?
Swara wanted her to be prepared for their separation, but is seems difficult to make her understand…
Swara: (diverting the topic) NO studies for today, we will play games and later watch movie….
Siya: (cheerfully) really!!!
Swara: (smile) yeas dear, come….

At office, Sanskar’s cabin
He was restless, although was trying hard to concentrate on work but her words and her face captured his mind fully….. Irritated with all this he abruptly closed the laptop on which he was working, laying back on his chair he closed his eyes….
“Swara, why you are behaving like this?” he murmured….
It was becoming impossible for him to wait till night, many times he thought to go back and just talk to her right now but then he realized his over impatient behavior will only exacerbate the situation. Composing himself he picked his mobile from the table, and swiped the picture gallery, his fingers halted on one of Swara’s picture he clicked in the hotel room when she was sleeping…..
Staring the picture he moved his fingers over her face……

Night, Siya’s room
Siya was sleeping peacefully, Swara was still there. The entire evening she did everything to make Siya happy, they played all her favorite games, watched cartoon movie together…. Ate her favorite ice-cream. After all the fun, happily Siya stated “This was the best day di”. Finally Swara asked her to sleep, holding her in her arms, Swara started telling story on her insistence. Soon she was fast asleep but Swara didn’t want to leave her, at least not for tonight…. She wanted to be with her but there were other things which she had to settle down tonight…..
“I am sorry Siya, I have to do this…. please forgive me. I will never be able to forget you my angel but Hope you forget me soon” she whispered kissing her forehead and moved out….
