Sanskar woke up first. The gentle rays of the sun peeping into the bedroom, banishing the darkness of the night. He was lying holding his wife tightly in his arm. Her head buried in the crook of his neck. Her breathing fanning his neck sending tingling feeling to his body in early morning with their legs tangled.
He unwillingly untangled their legs slowly hearing the doorbell sound ringing few times. He thought swara and he will get to spend quality time together if he gave leave to the caretaker of house but know her literally know that it’s a bad choice. He needs to answer the people who visit these wee hours in the morning. Just disturbing he from admiring his newly wedded wife.
And who the hell will go to other’s house in this time especially his house in this odd hour when he doesn’t expect any guest. He quickly made his way to receive his so called invited guest.
“Surprise!!!!”, shouted Manik and Cabir. While Nandhini just smiling watching both of Manik and Cabir who literally hanging on Sanskar’s shoulder each side. Poor Sanskar handling two monkeys who were literally chocking him. Sanskar with so much difficulty escape from their hold and go to attend Nandhini.
Nandhini hugs Sanskar and greet him…
“Hai, Bhai…. I miss you…”
“Miss you too, Nandhini….”
“Wow…. Wow…. What an emotional scene going on, Manik! Brother and sister’s romance…..” said Cabir while hugging and imitating Sanskar and Nandhini which make Swara laughing so hard who were coming from upstairs after hearing noises.
Sanskar were admiring Swara who were look so happy. Swara feel Sanskar’s intense gaze but she just pretend that he is not present at there. She went to Manik and Cabir and hugs both of them.
“Swara, how is our surprise?”, ask Cabir and Manik.
“It’s really surprise to see you all here this soon, but it’s normal I guess to have all of your presence in your best friend, SM’s house…. Am I right?” stated Swara while folding her arms.
“Wow!!…. How do you know? Is this idiot told you about us?”
“No! I just connect the dots when I see you all here and you told me that your best friend’s name is SM which means Sanskar Maheswari..”
“BINGO, said Manik while saluting Swara”.
Swara walks to Nandhini who were standing beside Sanskar and hugs her. All the while Swara just ignore his presence while Sanskar just frowning and let out a sigh.
All this exchange between Sanskar and Swara didn’t go unnoticed by Nandhini, Manik and Cabir but they just go with flow of their acting. They also didn’t give any comments regarding their marriage when they can feel the thick tension around the air.
“Omg…. The great Sanskar Maheswari is this how you want to treat your best friends without inviting us for breakfast”, said Cabir.
Sanskar just shake his head watching Cabir antics to make the situations look normal. He understand Cabir and Manik that much well because they were friends for so many years.
Swara ask all of them to fresh up while she prepares breakfast for all.
“Wow…. Today is your first day as Sanskar’s wife… So, are you going to cook sweet dish as per ritual of the first day”, ask Nandhini.
While Swara just looking at her blankly and in while after composed herself, she just nodded her head.
“That’s good…. Can you make me kheer for today?”
“Ok!” said Swara while made her way to kitchen.
While Sanskar raised his one eyebrow with a question look for a sudden demand of kheer with Swara and divert his attention to Manik and Cabir who just shrug their shoulders as answer of his questions as they don’t know what’s going on.
Nandhini goes to Sanskar and wrap her arm around his neck and said that “I’m your sister…. It’s my right to demand something from my sister in law, who also your wife in her in her first day at our home”.
Cabir and Manan ( Manik and Nandhini) made their way to their room. After enter the room, Manik closed the door and pinned Nandhini in the wall. He nuzzles his face in the crook of Nandhini’s neck and leaving kiss while Nandhini just enjoying his sweet assault.
“Manik, leave me….. I need to go downstairs and help Swara after fresh up… She is new to this place… So, I need to make her feeling comfortable with this environment…And don’t forget that we got a lot of thing to do….”.
“What’s that??”
“What?? I don’t get you?” said Nandhini playfully.
“Baby… “I’m not your brother who will believe whatever you said but your husband who understand your every move”, said Manik while giving a love bite on her neck.
“Auchhhhhh!!! Nandhini shouted in a low voice…. You idiot!! Why do you bite me and leave marks. Now I need to put creams to hide the marks so I won’t get embarrassed with Cabir’s teasing.”
Manik just smile and kiss the place that he bite and ask again “Is it still paining?”…
Nandhini just shake his head indicating no. She just falls in love with him again and again with his sweet gestures from the first day he enter her life till present moment.
“Nandhini, I know you want your brother to be happy but think about Swara also…. Give her some time…. And I believe you can help them… but don’t force Swara to much…, said Manik.
“Sure jannu….. I want my brother to be happy that’s what I thought before I came here but after I saw Swara I change my perception. I feel like there is more stories involve in this. And I getting more worried Swara….”
“What happened, Nandhini??? Why you look tense? If you worried about her, what about downstairs incident you made her remember her first day married life”.
“I just ask her that question to know her response. I get what I want to know. I know she loves Sanskar bhai but there is something blocking her from showing her love.”
“What are you saying Nandhini?? And how you so sure that she loves Sanskar??”.
“Ohhh… My stupid hubby….. Don’t forget that I’m a psychologist…. Did you saw her reactions? How she behaves like it’s her house even in her first day…. Its means she accept that this is her house. And then did you see that she didn’t even try to confront Sanskar in front us regarding his treat to kill us and force her to marriage using our name. She doesn’t want to humiliate him in front us. It won’t take a second for her to questions we all but she just choose to be quite. No girl will accept the way Sanskar married her. Still she accepts him and tries to live in this house and didn’t try to run away from Sanskar. She respects this relation, Manik. She thinks from heart. I understand her as a friend and also women.”
“Wow….. Baby, what an explanation! I love you so much…. I love this side of you who always try to help others and understand people well”.
“I’m not God, Manik… To understand a human is not an easy task… I just hope I can help Swara comes out from her shell and lead this marriage life happily with bhai….. I want happiness for both of them….”
“Let’s just pray for it, baby….. Don’t stress yourself….”
“I love you, Manik!!!!”
