@ the shopping mall
Shravan and Swara were at the shopping mall with their other friends; Rahul, Preeti and Sania. After their purchase at the book shop, they stopped at a restaurant for some refreshments.
Shravan: Finally, all the purchase for book and study materials are done. What a stressful time.
Swara: Shravan, we are here for some refreshments and to be out of stress, then why are you making us more?
Rahul: Exactly, let it go. Whatever it is we will still have to face all of these tomorrow. So, take a chill pill.
Sania: If all your nonsense is done, can we order something. Waiter!
Screen shifts to a library, Ragini was on the reference section, searching for a particular book. And finally she found it. As Ragini was going through the book, at one page, she saw a small note with her name written on it.
“ ‘A flower cannot blossom without sunlight, and man cannot live without love’. This was just a quote for me until I met you. Until I fell for you. I never thought that I too can fall in love. That too with an angel which was sent by the god himself. You made me smile, laugh, love and care in this robotic world. I want you to always be mine. Will you, Ragini Gadodia?”
Tears continuously started to skip from Ragini’s eyes. She knew who it was. Without even wasting any moments, she ran out of the library, through the corridor and up the staircase.
The screen again shifts back to the restaurant’s entrance. A group of youngsters (Laksh and his friends) were coming into the shop.
Omi (Laksh’s friend): I just can’t wait for the last semester to get over. Then it’s party time.
Laksh: For you, yeah sure, but my dad have strictly ordered me to handle the business once the college is over.
Akash: What! Then, how about your dreams, Lucky? The Indian Idol competition that you wanna participate.
Laksh: I want but I still can’t go against my dad. But I will try to talk to him. Now, let’s order something.
As Laksh turns around to call the waiter, he sees Shravan with….
Laksh (in mind): Swara?!! What are they doing here? I mean, what do I care about her.Shravan is my best friend
He excuses himself from his friends and goes towards the table where Shravan, Swara and friends were sitting.
Laksh: Hey, dude. What’s up Shravan.
Swara (spitting her juice in shock): You!!! What are you doing here? Shravan, did you invite him?
Laksh: Oh hello, Miss Jhansi Ki Rani, this is a public place and anyone can come here. And Shravan is my best friend, so I have full right to meet him. Are you cleared?
Shravan: Stop it you two. Wherever or whenever you meet up, it all ends up with fight. And Lucky, what are you doing here?
Laksh: Purchase for tomorrow and I think it’s the same here too.
Shravan: Yup. Why don’t you join us, Lucky.
Laksh: No way, Shravan. It is much better to drink a bottle of poison then having a cup of coffee with her.
Swara: What did you say, you cheapster. Do you have any manners of how to talk and behave with a girl?
Laksh: I do and they apply on girls, not you. Anyways Shravan, I’m leaving. See you tomorrow.
Shravan (to calm the angry Swara): Swara, have you forgotten? We have to pick up Ragini from her college.
Remembering it, both of them rushed out with their friends.
Back to the college.
Ragini finally reaches the terrace of the college. She starts searching for someone everywhere. Then, she hears a voice that brings smile to her face and makes it to glow more.
Voice: Some people believe there is a one,
The one who points your way to the sun.
A person they believe makes them complete
The one who will support when facing defeat
Ragini: Sanskar??
Sanskar (forwarding his hands): ‘You are my angel,’ my one and only
My forever love, so we’ll never be lonely.
You’ve brought to my life all your love and care
It made me see when I realized how rare . .
It is to meet your angel, or their lifetime one
Through you and my children, whose life has begun.
What you’ve done, you’ve illuminated my soul
It’s you and your love that has made me whole.
The feel of your love, your soft touch and caress,
We’re tight so close, your heart beats in my chest
Ragini (runs and hugs him): Sanskar
Sanskar: All that we have always felt missing before
Though I love you today, tomorrow it will be more.
Our love is life, we are the strongest tree
Which will always grow forever, like you and me.
You have opened my heart and held it so dear
You are my angel, and will always keep it near.
You have seen my ups and cared when I was low.
‘You are my angel,’ I just need you to know.
You entered my life through a ray of sun above
And when we leave, we will leave together in love
My love for you has become my reason to be
I hope one day you’ll find your angel in me.
Completing his words, Sanskar plants a kiss on Ragini’s forehead, followed by her eyes.
Ragini: I love you, Sanskar.
Sanskar: I love you too, Ragini.
Ragini: But how did you know that I am coming to college today?
Sanskar: well, I heard your conversation with Uttara over the phone yesterday. . And also the book that you were searching. So, I decided to give you a surprise.
Ragini: But, what reason you gave the family?
Sanskar: That I have a very important meeting with the principal. How was my reason?
Ragini: Very smart.
Sanskar: So, do you like my surprise?
Ragini: I don’t like it. I loved it so much, thank you.
Sanskar again forwards him arms and both of them continued hugging.
