Part 6
Rudra still keeps Ragini/Mishti’s hand in his while consoling her.
Rudra: Don’t worry, Mishti. Everything will be fine. I am with you in all the hurdles ypu are going to face in your life. You can trust me.
Ragini/Mishti: I trust you more than myself, Rudra. You and your family gave me new hopes to live my life. I am really glad that I met all of you in my life although I have done many bad things in my past.
Rudra: It is you past, Mishti. Let it go away from your life and focus on your upcoming future.
As they were both having the conversation, Anjana knocks on the door.
Anjana: Bhai? Are you in there?
Rudra (releasing Ragini/Mishti’s hand): Come in, Anju.
Anjana: Mishti di, are you fine?
Ragini/Mishti: Yes, Anju. I am fine. Tell me what you bought for me and for yourself?
Anjana: It’s downstairs. I’ll bring it…. you’ll surely like it, di.
Anjana goes down when Ragini/Mishti looks at Rudra while he assures her, before going out of the room.
Rudra comes to his room and thinks of whatever Ragini/Mishti told him about her past.
Rudra (sitting on the bed): How can someone go through so much of pain? Mishti’s was so deep for the guy that forced her to do many bad deeds to her own sister. But, he was so unlucky to not see or feel her love. No one understood why she did such thing. Can someone love somebody like how Mishti loved that guy?
Anjana: Bhai, what are you thinking about?
Rudra: Nothing.
Anjana: The decorator is here anf hr wants to talk to you about the party’s arrangements.
Rudra: Anju, please. I am not in the mood. Ask Ma and Bade Ma to talk to him. I am fine with anything.
Anjana: Alright, I’ll tell them. Are you sure that there is nothing to tell me about?
Rudra: No, Anju. I am fine.
Anjana: Fine, then.
After Anjana left, Rudra took a file and start to go through it but his mind were on Ragiji/Mishti. He reminisces the first glance he had of her when he saved her from the river, how he saw into her eyes which were filled with pain and sadness, how he saved her from falling, how he gave her the bouquet of flowers in return of her friendship, how she chose for him the perfect tuxedo suit, their eyelock, her past revelations.
Rudra (closing the file): Rudra, what have happened to you? Why can’t you stop thinking about Mishti? Stop thinking a lot of her as she only loves the guy from her past. But why does my heart and mind can’t stop thinking about her?

The next day, at the Maheswari Mansion, all were getting ready. Sanskar comes into the room and sees Swara who was still struggling to tie the knot of her blouse.
Sanskar: I am sorry. I didn’t know that…. I just came to take the key.
Swara: No problem. I was just getting ready. But this blouse…..
Sanskar: Do you want me to help you?
Swara: No, it is okay. I’ll ask Uttar to help me.
Sanskar: Uttara and everyone else have gone to Sengupta’s. Shall I?
Swara, nervously turns around while Sanskar comes closer to her. He brings his hand up to hold the knot and in the process he touches Swara’s back unintentionally. Swara closes her eyes, feeling the touch while Sanskar ties the knot. Outside the room, there was Laksh looking at the scene, burning with jealousy.
Sanskar: Done. Shall we make a move?
Swara: Yes.
Swasan comes out of the room and went down the stairs while Laksh looks at them enraged.
At the Sengupta Mansion, the party have started when the Maheswaris came. The ladies of Senguptas who were attending to the guest excused tjrmselves when they saw the Maheswaris.
Nandita: Namaste.
Annapurna: Namaste, Nanditaji. Divyaji.
Divya: Please come in. Where is your sons and daughter in laws?
Sujata: Adarsh and Parineeta went to her mayka as her mother isn’t feeling well.
Nandita: I’m sorry for that. Where is Swara?
Sujata: They are on their way.
Divya: Please come in and make yourself comfortable.
Annapurna: Where is your bahu? We didn’t get the chance to meet her.
Nandita: Actually, Mishti is not our daughter in law. Anjana said that to Laksh for the tuxedo. We are sorry.
Annapurna: It is okay. Who is Mishti then?
Divya: A god sent angel to our small family. It haven’t been a few day but she is not ruling our hearts all together with her politeness and caring attitude.
Sujata: If that so why don’t you matchmake her to your son?
Divya: Mishti has a past that she haven’t revealed to us. Let her get somw time to forget that and move on. If she becomes our daughter in law, we are really lucky.
Annapurna: Whatever you say about her is making me so eager to meet her? Where is she?
Nandita: I think she is upstairs in her room. I’ll ask Anjana to call her.
Annapurna: It is ok. Let her come down slowly. Where is Rudra?
Divya: He is talking to one of his foreign delegates. Shall I call him?
Annapurna: No problem.
Nandita: I almost forgot. What would you like to have? Would you like to try the sweets made by Mishti?
Sujata: Why not.
Nandita calls the waiter to serve them the sweets. Having a bite of it, Annapurna and Sujata looks at each other.
Sujata: Jijji, this sweets taste exactly how Ragini does it. Does this mean Mishti is Ragini?
Annapurna: I am shocked too, Sujata. But how can that be possible?
At upstairs at Ragini/Mishti’s room, Anjana was helping her to get ready.
Anjana: Di, you are looking so beautiful as always. Like a princess.
Ragini/Mishti: Thanks to my wonderful makeup specialist.
Anjana: Your costume perfectly matches bhai’s tuxedo.
Ragini/Mishti: What are you trying to say?
Anjana: I meant that both of you will be the centre of everyone’s attention.
Ragini/Mishti: Let’s go down. It is getting late.
Both Anjana and Ragini/Mishti was about to leave the room when the latter stops.
Anjana: What happened, di?
Ragini/Mishti: We forgot our masks.
Anjana: Ohhh yes.
Both of them grabbed their masks and puts them over before coming down. Here Rudra is shown talking to some foreigners, formally. All of a sudden, his heart starts to beat rapidly, unusual to him. He looked up and saw Ragini/Mishti coming down the stairs in a black long dress white a silver mask covering her eyes. Even the foreigners who Rudra was talking to were taken back by Ragini/Mishti’s flawless beauty.
Jonathan: Rudra, who is she?
Rudra: She is a very important person in my family now.
Jonathan: God’s Grace. She is looking so stunning.
Ragini/Mishti was slightly uncomfortable with all the eyes looking at her.
Ragini/Mishti: Anju, why are they looking at mr like this. It is so uncomfortable.
Anjana: They must awestruck by your beauty, di. Come, let’s go Ma and Chachi.
Ragini/Mishti: Alright.
Ragini/ Mishti was about to walk to where Nandita and Divya is standing along with the Maheswaris when she took a glance at the main door when Swara and Sanskar arrived. Shocked by seeing them, Ragini/Mishti walks away from therevbefore even Anjana could call her. As she was walking quickly, Ragini/Mishti dashed with Rudra.
Rudra: Mishti? What happened?
Ragini/Mishti: Swara….
Rudra: Swara? Who is Swara?
Ragini/Mishti: My sister. If she is here means the whole Maheswari family will be here.
Rudra: The Maheswaris?
Ragini/Mishti: You know them?
Rudra: Yes, this party is also to thank them for the new contract we cracked.
Ragini/Mishti: This is a nightmare. I am not honna ho in front of them.
Rudra: You have to, Mishti. Till when will you run from them? Till the rest of your life? For god sake, you have to be brave to face your past. Enough of the hide and seek. You are not whoever you were in the past. You are Mishti Mishra.
Ragini/Mishti: Are you sure that I will be able to face them?
Rudra: I am sure. If you are not…. then I am here to help you with it.
Saying this, Rudra forwards his hand to Ragini/Mishti. She looked at his assuring eyes before taking them. With a deep breath, Ragini/Mishti walks along with Rudra, to meet the Maheswaris.
Nandita: Here is Rudra and Mishti.
Rudra: Namaste, uncle. Aunty.
Sanskar: Good to see you, Mr. Sengupta.
Rudra: Pleasure is also mine, Mr. Maheswari.
Swara: This must be Mishti. Hi, I am Swara, Sanskar’s wife.
Ragini/Mishti: Nice to meet you, Mrs. Maheswari. I am Mishti Mishra.
Swara: Your voice….. it’s like I have heard it somewhere. It sounds like my sister’s.
Anjana: Come on youths. It’s time for the First Dance.
Rudra: Join us Mr and Mrs Maheswari.
Sanskar: Sure. Shall we Swara?
Swara: Of course.
Ragini/Mishti, Rudra, Swara and Sanskar joined some other couples. Anjana ran and whispered something on the DJ’s ears. He too smiles at her while nodding.
The music begins, and like a proper Englishman, Rudra bowed and asks for Ragini/Mishti’s hand. Sanskar too asks for Swara’s. Both the girls too forwards their hands. Swara was really excited as she is having a new different feeling in her whenever she’s around Sanskar. On the other hand, Rudra was looking at Ragini/Mishti sweetly while inside himself he is trying to figure out the new feelings in him for the girl in front of him.

The song ends with both Swara and Ragini/Mishti falling in the arms of Sanskar and Rudra respectively. At the entrance, there was Laksh standing while clenching his fist, lookong at Swasan’s closeness. Slowly, his gaze falls on Rudra and Ragini/Mishti.
Laksh: Why do I feel like I know that girl? She looks so familiar.
The screen freezes on Laksh’s face.
Precap: Ragini/Mishti’s mask falls off, revealing her face to everyone. Maheswaris stands up, shocked while Swara moves forwards to hold Ragini/Mishti’s cheek.
