Ek Prem Kahani- Chap2

All puja is done and everyone is done eating breakfast. Swaragini are helping Shomi and Dadi clean up and then they are all having fun as a family together. They were all laughing at a joke Ragini had just told when Swara looked at her watch.
Swara: Hey Bhagwan! Ragini! Dekho time kitni ho chuki hai? Almost 8:30 hogaya hai. Tum college nayi jaana chaahate ho kya? Ya phir pehle din hi late hona chaahate ho kya? (OMG! We’re so late! It’s almost 8:30. Don’t u wanna go to college?)
Ragini: Nahi, Nahi, nahi! Hum late Nahi hona chaahate hai. (No I don’t wanna be late).
Swara: Toh phir chalo! Aaj Mein hi chodd de ti hu tumhe college tak. Waise bhi, mujhe uss taraf kuch kaam hai. (Then come on! I’ll drop u today. I’m going in that direction today).
Shekhar: Swara beta, waha kya kaam hai tumhe? (But Swara what work do u have there?)
Swara: Baba, woh waha Ek music school hai aur Mein usse dekhna chaahati hu. Agar accha laga toh join karne ki sochungi. Par phil haal toh mujhe iss buddhu Ragini ko college chodd ni hai. (Baba, there’s this music school
Over there. I wanna check it out. If I like it then I’ll think of joining. But rite now I need to get this idiot to college!)
She turns to Ragini.
Swara: Ragini, tum jaldi bahar aao. Mein tab tak apne bike ko bahar laati hu. (Ragini come fast! I’ll get my bike out!)
Ragini: Accha tikhe. Par hum buddhu nahi hai! (Yea ok. But I’m not an idiot!)
Swara rolled her eyes, went and took her things and took blessings from her elders. Ragini also did the same. They both went out and Swara got her yellow bike out and Ragini climbed on it. Swaragini left from there to Ragini’s college.

They’re done with breakfast and Laksh, Sanskar, Uttara and AP are in the hall together.
AP: Uttara, beta tum jaao aur Sujata ki madad kar do please. Varna woh thag jaayegi. Please beta. (Uttara, go help Sujata. Otherwise she’ll get tired. Go).
Uttara: Ji Badi Ma. Mein jaati hu. Mom ki madad karne ke liye. Bye Sanskar Bhai. I hope ki aap ka din aaj accha chale office Mein. sein. Aur Laksh Bhai, college ke liye best of luck:) Pehla din hai na aapki? (Sure. I’ll go. Bye Sanskar Bhai. I hope ur day goes well. And Laksh Bhai, best of luck for ur first day).
She hugged them both and runs to help Sujata.
Sanskar: Laksh, Abhi jaao, college ke liye late mat ho na. (Laksh, now go. Don’t be late for college).
Laksh: Uff! Why r u so timely? bhai! Fine I’m going!
Laksh winks and runs out of his house to go to college.
Sanskar in his mind: Yeh ladka bhi na! Bado ki aashirvad bhi Nahi le sakta! Par kya karoon? Bhai toh hai na? Pyar bahot karta hu. Toh zyada der tak gussa bhi nahi kar sakta! (Gosh This boy! He didn’t even take his elder’s blessings! But what can I do? I love him so much that I can’t be angry for so long!)
He goes to AP and takes her blessings. He then goes out to his car and leaves for office.
On the road…
Swara is riding her bike and Ragini is sitting behind her holding her bag in one hand and holding Swara’s shoulder.
Ragini: Swara! Jaldi chalo na? Late ho rahe hum. (Swara go fast! I’m getting late!)
Swara: Ahahaha! Late tum karo aur Mein jaldi chalu? Kisna kaha tha tumhe itne slowly khana khane ke liye? Ha? (Oh now I have to go fast? If u wanted me to go fast then u shud have eaten ur breakfast a lil faster).
Ragini: Sorry, Sorry! Par tum bhi toh late uthi? (But u also woke up late!)
Swara: Toh?! Teri hi galati hai! Waise bhi yaha traffic bahot hai. Upar se tum pressure daal rahe Ho jaldi jaane ke liye. (So what? It it’s still ur fault. There’s so much traffic! And ur pressurising me even more!)
Ragini: Sorry! Hum chup rahenge. (Fine. Sorry. I’ll shut up).
Swara suddenly honks.
Swara screams to the vehicle: OI SAALA! DEKH KE CHAL! (To Ragu) Arrey yaar! Yeh Kolkata ki traffic bhi bahot Kharab hai! (IDIOT! WATCH WHILE UR DRIVING! [to Ragu] this Kolkata traffic is horrible)
{obviously she doesn’t know the Bangalore traffic:p}
Swara somehow manages to reach Ragini’s college on time. Ragini got off and hugged Swara.
Swara: Apna khayal rakhna. Acche se rehna aur agar koi bhi tumhe irritate karne ki koshish kare toh mujhe batana. Mein unki class lungi. Samjhi? (Ok look after urself. Be nice to all. And if someone dares to irritate u then tell me ok? I’ll teach them a lesson! Understand?)
Ragini: ok Swara.
Swara: Aur ha! Vapas aane ki samaye, yaa toh mujhe call karna, yaa bus mein aajana. Akele auto Mein mat aana. (And ya. When ur coming back home, pls call me. I’ll come to pick u up. Or else u come by bus. Don’t come alone in the auto).
Ragini: Tikhe Swara. Tum chinta mat karo. Hum tikh se reh lenge. Tum toh aise behave kar rahe Ho jaise hum hamesha hamesha ke liye alag ho rahe hai! (Yea ok. Don’t worry. I’ll manage. Ur behaving as if we’re getting separated forever!)
Swara: Kya kare? Tumse itna Pyar jo karti hu. Aur ainda door hone ki baat mat karna. Samjhi? (What else do I do? I love u so much. And don’t u dare talk about separation again!)
Ragini: Tikhe Swara. Sorry. Hum late Ho rahe hai toh hum jaayenge. Bye. (Ok I’m sorry. But I’ll go now. I’m getting late. Bye).
Swara hugged her.
Swara: Bye.
Swara drove off to the music school. Ragini went inside the college.
Pre-cap: Ragini meets Laksh for first time in class and thinks he is arrogant. Swara goes to see the music school. Sanskar does good presentation for meeting.
