Episode 6

Annapurna “Now we shall start the purpose we are here for… First one is Rajat Raichand….”

A bad*ss looking guy goes up the stage to Annapurna in full attitude… He is chewing the chewing gum and winks at Annapurna as he reaches stage… Annapurna glares him… He understands that it won’t work and apologizes… She gives a stiff nod… He turns and smiles looking at the crowd…

Annapurna “Remember… Your personality will decide your house… (He nods) Are you ready? (He again nods) ok… Oikos Revilio…”

She does the wand action and points the wand at him… He closes his eyes as light comes from the wand…
Swara looks on being amazed… She is looking at all this for the first time…

Sanskar whispers “I had only heard that it’s fascinating… But it actually is…”

Rohan “You are right Sanky… This looks amazing…”

Rajat opens his eyes and looks for the mark…

Annapurna “Check your arms and biceps…”

He nods and hastily folds the sleeves of his shirt… A small but fierce Green Snake is tattooed on his biceps…

Rajat “This looks so cool…!!”

Annapurna “This is your house batch now… You belong to Daedalus … You are full of ambition and have good leadership qualities…”

Rajat smiles and leaves…

Annapurna “Rohan Mehta…”

Rohan goes up on the stage…

Annapurna “Oikos Revilio”

Rohan looks at his forearm… A silver crown is tattooed on it…

Rohan “s*xy!!”

Annapurna “Athena… The house of wisdom…”

Annapurna “Sahil Arora…”

A strong,tall and muscular guy goes up to stage… Rajat wishes him luck… He smiles back…

Annapurna “Oikos Revilio”

Sahil checks his biceps and sees a green snake…

Sahil “Buddies together bro!!”

Rajat “Of course!!”

Annapurna “ANother Leadership quality we have found… Daedalus..”

Annapurna “Swara Gadodia…”

Dadi smiles… Swara looks at her… Shekhar and Sharmistha signs her all the best… Swara smiles and goes up on stage and smiles nervously…

Sanskar and Sahil are awestruck seeing her… Sanskar is not even blinking…
Rohan sees him thus…

Rohan “Relax bro… She is in our batch only… Close your mouth else Anu Maa will catch you red handed…”

Sanskar composes himself…

Rohan “Seems like someone is going to fall head over heels…”

Sanskar smiles “Even I think that…”

Rohan “I am talking about you…”

Sanskar “Even I am…”

They both smile…

Sahil wishes she is admitted in Daedalus …

Annapurna smiles seeing her nervous…

Annapurna “it’s ok… There is nothing to worry…”

Swara nods smiling…

Annapurna “Oikos Revilio… ”

Swara closes her eyes tightly as the light emerges from the tip of her wand… It diminishes after 5 seconds…

Swara looks at her hands but finds nothing… She looks towards Annapurna…
Annapurna goes to her and checks her arms,her forearms and upper palm but finds nothing…
She then turns her around and moves her hairs bringing it to front… All look at the little silver sword tattooed on her neck…

Annapurna “Arete… The house of Bravery…”

Dadi smiles proudly listening to it… So do Shekhar and Sharmistha…
Sahil seems a little disappointed… Rajat senses it and asks the matter… He just shakes his head saying nothing…

Annapurna “We have the first Arete Tenant here… (To Swara) Congrats… Very few but the chosen ones are selected for this house…”

Swara gets happy and thanks her… She goes down the stage…

Annapurna “Sanskar Maheshwari…”

Sanskar (in his mind) “God plz admit me to Arete plz God… It’s the question of my prestige and my crush as well… Plz God… Plz…”

Annapurna “Today all will know what you hold…”

Sanskar nods…

Annapurna “Oikos Revilio… ”

Sanskar prays in his mind…

As soon as the wand light diminishes… Sanskar hastily checks his arms and forearms…

He reacts weirdly…

Annapurna “For God’s sake behave yourself Sanskar… What are you doing all are watching…”

Even DP glares him…

Swara looks at him finding him weird…

Sanskar “Maa… Plz check my neck…”

Annapurna glares him…

Sanskar “I mean Professor Maheshwari…”

She checks his neck finds the sword tattoo there…

Annapurna “Well… I don’t know how… But it’s Arete the house of Bravery… (To Sanskar) I hope that it’s not engraved manually…”

Sanskar “Mom!!!”

The House division carries on…

Sanskar is happy that he and Swara are in the same house…
After all the new comers are admitted to their respective houses, Dadi once again adresses them…

Dadi “Students… So the house division is done and hence from now on you will be living in your house hostels… Your prefects will guide you to your hostels and you need to listen to them and abide by the rules and regulations of your respective houses… Just remember any indiscipline on your part will make your house loose points… The point tally will start from tomorrow’s sunrise… Do as much fun as you want coz you have just one night… You may disperse now…”

Sanskar is sad that he and Rohan are in different house… Rohan is sad as he won’t be able to have the fun of seeing the SwaSan drama in Arete house hostle… They sadly bid bye to each other for the night and follow their prefects…

At the Arete common room…

Swara was roaming here and there looking at the moving paintings and their funny antiques… She laughed listening to their funny conversations while Sanskar was following her all the while like a puppy…

Swara suddenly turns and gets surprised seeing him just behind her…

Swara “You want to say something?”

Sanskar “Do you read minds?”

Swara “huh?? No… Why?”

Sanskar “Then how do you know?”

Swara “May be because that’s why you are following me from that time…”

Sanskar (he smiles sheepishly and rubs his nape) “Ok… I am sorry for behaving like a creep…”

Swara smiles “It’s ok…”

Sanskar “I am Sanskar Maheshwari…”
He forwards his hand…

Swara “I know… I heard it when VP Maheshwari called you out and was scolding you…”

Sanskar feels embarrassed as she doesn’t takes his hand… He takes it back “I am glad you remembered it… And don’t worry about Mom… I love to irritate her… She is very cute… Just like you…”

Swara blushes… Sanskar realizes what he said just now and apologizes…

Swara “You are her son? You hardly show off…”

Sanskar “What will I do showing off… I know that it’s of no use… She treats me as other students only when we are inside Hecate … BTW you are a muggle right…”

Swara “Nope… Till now believed that I was one… I am a half blood…”

Sanskar “Great… Mom side or Dad side…??”

Swara “Mom was a muggle…”

Sanskar “Was??? Oh!! I am sorry…”

Swara “Don’t be… Sumi Maa doesn’t let me miss her… I am lucky to have her…”

Sanskar “You have a step mother??”

Swara “Cum Masi… She is my mom’s sister… But always treats me as her elder daughter…”

Sanskar “Your father is a pure blood? We must be knowing him then… What’s his name?”

Swara “Shekhar Gadodia…”

Sanskar “You mean to say Professor Gadodia!! The Charms Professor!!”

Swara nods…

Sanskar “That means you are Grand Daughter of Principal Parvati Gadodia!!”

Swara “Isn’t she my father’s mother??”

Sanskar “Oh… Yaa… Sorry… You have higher approach than me here…”

Swara “No… I don’t want to show off my surname… I want to make my name shine… I don’t want people to think that I am here on the basis of nepotism but I want them to see me proving my merit and worth… I deserve to be a Hecatian… ”

Sanskar “Your superb self confidence just now gave me another reason to like you apart from your cute looks and lovely voice…”

Swara realizes what he spoke and again blushes “You like me?”

All the paintings and portaits at once stop talking and start listening to SwaSan convo… Swara blushes feeling their gaze on her… Sanskar feels awkward…

Sanskar “Yes… (He then realizes what he said and hastily says) no…”

Swara “No…??”

Sanskar “No… Yes… I mean… Ok fine… Can we be friends??”

Swara “Are you going to be satisfied with that relationship?”

Sanskar “Well of course not… I will implement the the later part soon to go to the next phase…”

Swara “From when?”

Sanskar “May be tomorrow…”

Swara “Aren’t you going very fast…”

Sanskar “I love adventures… And it is one of a kind…”

Swara “May I know how you are going to take next step?”

Sanskar “By asking you for a movie tomorrow at nine… You know like ordinary muggles…”

Swara “Well not a bad idea… But what if I say no..?”

Sanskar “Well my 6th Sense says you won’t… And even if you say so to prove me wrong… I know how to turn that into yes…”

Swara “We will see… Good night Sanskar…”

She turns to go… Sanskar calls her out…

Sanskar “Swara… My answer??”

Swara “Well… Let’s see what surprise tomorrow holds for you…”

Sanskar “The thing we already know are not called as surprises…”

Swara “You are too confident Mr. Sanskar…”

Sanskar “May be because I trust you Ms. Swara…”

Swara smiles broadly “Good Night Sanskar…”

Sanskar rubs his nape smiling “Good Night Swara… Will be waiting for your answer tomorrow…”

She disperses to her room and smiles broadly…

Sanskar sees her going till she vanishes from his sight… He smiles rubbing his nape and thinks Rohan needs to know this development…

He also runs back to his room…
