Episode 14
Finally it’s the day when new session will begin… Students from second year to fourth year are sitting on the loooooooooooooong dining table… SwaSan,Rohan,Sahil and Rajat being among them…
SwaSan are busy in their cute little fights while Rohan is lost somewhere else… Sahil is constantly eyeing Swara… Rajat notices it yet again…
Rajat “Bro… Are you sure you aren’t hiding anything from me… You know,I can help you with anything…”
Sahil (looking at Rajat) “Ok… There is something… But I will tell you later on… Come on… It’s a big day for us… Our sisters are getting admitted here…”
Rajat “Yeah… Kavita and Kavya will also be joining here… I am happy for them… You know… Kavita was randomly speaking about Hecate and was so excited… Finally she will be here…”
Sahil “Yeah… Same with Kavya… She is constantly using her wands… And now does even little things using wand…”
Rajat laughs… So does Sahil…
Rajat “Well… We haven’t seen each other’s family even though we are so good friends… ”
Sahil “Hmmm… Even our sisters will be in the same batch… And maybe best friends like us… Then maybe we could plan a get together…”
Rajat “Indeed a good idea…”
Sanskar is playing with Swara’s hairs… Swara smiles at his antiques… Suddenly she looks at Rohan who is hopelessly smiling and spinning the spoon in the empty cup…
She elbows Sanskar and signs him to look at Rohan…
Sanskar looks at Rohan and facepalms…
Swara “What happened??”
Sanskar “To me?? Nothing…. To him?? Definitely something…”
Swara “Huh??”
Sanskar “From the time he has returned from his vacation,he often stays lost… Smiles when alone… Speaks less… And moreover his share in being my partner in crime is decreasing day by day in little amounts…”
Swara “He is your best friend… You should ask him…”
Sanskar “Do you think I didn’t try..?? Even Lucky tried it…”
Swara “Who?”
Sanskar “My brother… Lakshya… We call him Lucky… Oh I never told you I have a younger brother… He is getting admitted today here…”
Swara “Even my sister…”
Sanskar “You have one?”
Swara “Sanskar… Do you remember the first time we met,I told you that my mom regards me as her elder daughter… One is elder only when there is a younger child at home…”
Sanskar smiles sheepishly “So… She is also like you?”
Swara “No… She is like you… Infact more than you… She is equal to 20 Sanskar Maheshwari… (Sanskar looks on open mouthed… Swara looks at him and giggles) Yeah… That’s how my Mom introduced her to VP Maheshwari when they first met…”
Sanskar “She has met my mom!!”
Swara nods “Yeah… And infact she loved Ragini very much… Infact so much that even VP Maheshwari calls her Ragu now… Just like us…”
Sanskar “My would be sister in law is really advanced… Our mischievous Jodi will rock… OMG!! Wait a second… That means those risky ideas were never yours??(Swara shakes her head) I knew it… Only a devilish mind like me or more than me can think of such ideas… Wow…”
Sanskar thinks Ragini can help him in Lakshya’s matter…
Swara “Ah… I knew it… Infact I told Ragu that you two will have a great bonding… You know ‘like minds’…”
Sanskar “Well let her come… Then we will see that… But first let us do something of him…”
He says pointing at Rohan….
Swara calls him out but he gives no response… Sanskar waves his hand in front of his eyes still no response…
Sanskar “Wait a minute… (He takes out his wand) Avis…!! ”
3 Birds come out from the tip of Sanskar’s wand and goes towards Rohan… Two of them sit on his either ears and one on his head… They start biting him lightly but it pins him and he comes out of his trance shouting…
Rohan “Ouch!!! Ooiiee… What’s that?? Get away from me!!! (He takes out his wand) Duro!!! ”
The birds turn into stones and fall down…
Swara and Sanskar burst out laughing…
Rohan “What yaar?? Why you did this Sanky ?”
Sanskar “Bro… We were calling you from that time but you gave no response… Helplessly I had to do that…”
Swara “BTW, Sanskar was telling me that you seem lost now a days… What’s the matter?? Any problem?? Or something else?”
Rohan “No yaar… Nothing like that…”
Swara “Damn… You are in love!!”
Rohan and Sanskar get shocked…
Sanskar “And you didn’t tell me!!!”
Rohan (turning red) “You guys are speaking a good deal of nonsense today… I am going to the ground to do some ragging… At least they wouldn’t make such conclusion of my silence…”
He picks up his wand and literally runs from there…
Sanskar “See how he is running to escape our questions…”
Swara “Now I am sure he is in love… Let’s follow him…”
They both also pick up their wands and run before him…
At the Hecate Ground…
All the freshers are gathered there… There is crowd… Some seniors are also there to rag the newcomers…
Rohan comes on the ground murmuring “They both speak anything… Yes it’s true that I spent almost half of my vacations with her… And I always think about her and the time spent with her… And I even like her and whenever I close my eyes, her smiling face comes in front of my eyes… But that doesn’t mean I am in love….!! Swara speaks anything…”
Just then her hears a familiar voice “Excuse me!!!”
He turns and sees a girl calling someone…. He gets open mouthed seeing her…
He rubs his eyes to check whether he is dreaming or not… SwaSan finally find him and reach him…
Swara “What happened Rohan?? You ok??”
Rohan again opens her eyes but doesn’t find her… He looks at SwaSan “I swear I saw her here… She was here in this campus…!!”
Sanskar “Who?? Whom you love??”
Rohan “Yes…!!”
SwaSan “Huh?? Where??”
They start looking here and there…
Rohan “I mean no… I don’t love her… I just like her… Coz she is a friend… I spent almost half of the vacation with her…”
SwaSan smile broadly “Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm….”
Rohan “What??? ( They shake their head) You guys are crazy…”
Sanskar “BTW what’s her name??”
Swara “He means your friend’s name”
Rohan “Aisha…”
He smiles….
Aisha runs behind some calling…. She finally stops…
Aisha “They people here are so weird and arrogant..!! It’s better to find the way on my own… Gopal… Plz help me…”
She turns but almost collide with Kartik,a fourth year bully….
Kartik eyes her from head to toe “Ooooo…. I heard you need some help… Why to bother your Gopal for that…. Even I can help you…”
Aisha “Thanks… Can you please show me the way to the dining assembly…”
Kartik is busy eyeing her… He happens to look behind her and see Ragini coming… They have a little eye contact… He gets open mouthed seeing such a beauty entering…
He thinks that this year Hecate had chosen real sweets for his entertainment….
Aisha “Excuse me!! Hello??”
Kartik “Oh… Ya sure…”
He again looks at Ragini… She reads his mind and her widens her eyes…
Kartik and Aisha turn to go… He keeps a hand on her shoulder and slides it down tracing get back… He is about to touch her buttocks but just then he falls down on ground and starts vomiting slugs from his mouth
Aisha gets shocked seeing his behavior suddenly…
Ragini comes and stands beside Aisha…
Ragini “The ones who eye and touch others badly get punished this way only… Next time better beware before you take in action your filthy intentions… We are freshers but that doesn’t mean we can’t do anything…”
She takes Aisha and walks off from there… Lakshya witnesses her act… He doesn’t see her face but admires her courage… But what she did to Kartik,it made him realize that she is female Sanskar Maheshwari… He smiles at the thought of it…
Ragini looks into her eyes “Oh… Don’t worry about him… It’s just for an hour…”
Aisha “But how you did that??”
Ragini “Well that’s normal for me….–”
FB SHOWS…
Ragini reads Kartik’s mind when he eyes her before turning…
Ragini “Oh no… That guy is a jerk… It will be so embarrassing for that girl… I must do something but what??”
She then looks at her wand about smiles…
Ragini “Let’s go buddy… (She points her wand towards Kartik) Slugulus Eructo..!!! ”
A green jet of light hits Kartik and he falls down…
FB ENDS…
Aisha laughs… Ragini joins her…
Ragini “BTW… Ragini…. Ragini Gadodia…”
She forwards her hand…
Aisha “Aisha Mehta…”
She shakes her hand with Ragini…
Ragini “And if I am not wrong, I guess I have made my first friend in Hecate…”
Aisha “Of course you are not wrong… Oh… Btw you said that you heard what he thought… So you read minds??”
Ragini nods “It’s Gifted… But I came to know it few years back only… BTW, you got something special??”
Aisha nods “I can see everything…”
Ragini “Even I can…”
Aisha “I mean the visible ones as well as the invisible ones… The fastest ones at a very slow rate and the slowest ones at fast speed…. The biggest object as well as the smallest ones…. The far objects as well as the near ones…”
Ragini “Wow…. That’s cool… I can sense that we are gonna rock…”
They do high five…
A girl comes running to Kartik seeing him vomiting slugs…
The girl “Who dared to mess with Kavya Arora’s cousin??”
Kartik “A fresher… She was wearing a black dress… And had long open hairs…”
Someone from the crowd tells that she was Ragini Gadodia… Principal Gadodia’s grand daughter…
Kavya (ordering tone) “Take him to sick room… Fast… And I will see this Ragini Gadodia….”
She rages from there searching for Ragini…
SwaSan and Rohan are on the ground…
Rohan “Where are your respective siblings???”
SwaSan “We don’t know… We are also searching them…”
Sanskar “I think I saw Lucky… Rohan,wait with her here… I will be back soon….”
He goes from there behind Lakshya…
Sanskar is running and suddenly collides with a girl…. She stumbles and is about to fall but is caught by Sanskar in his arms…
He makes are stand straight and asks “You ok??”
The girl looks at him and nods…
Sanskar “BTW,you are beautiful… Just be careful while you walk… I don’t want such beauties to get hurt…”
Kavya blushes “You speak a good deal of cheesy lines… BTW Kavita Raichand…”
Sanskar “Sanskar Maheshwari…”
They are about to shake hands but Rajat comes there calling her out…
Sanskar “You are his sister??”
Kavita nods “And I guess,I must leave now… (To Rajat) Coming Bhai!!!”
She goes from there but turns back to look at Sanskar and smiles…
Sanskar runs to find Lakshya…
Ragini spots Swara on the ground and says to Aisha “Come,I will introduce you to my sister… You are gonna love her… She is a sweetheart…”
Aisha nods… They both go to where Swara and Rohan (turning his back) are standing…
Ragini “Di!!”
Swara sees her “Ragu!! Where were you… I was searching for you…”
Rohan turns and sees Ragini… Aisha is busy admiring swaragini’s bond… They both do not notice each other…
Ragini “Are Di… I took someone’s class… But I will tell you about it later on… Meet—”
Swara “Haaawwwwww… Ragu!! You just entered and have already started your devilish actions… Your first day hasn’t even started…”
Ragini “Exactly… And therefore you also should not start now… And he deserved to be punished… He was trying to misbehave with my friend… So I cast a slug curse on him…”
Rohan gets shocked and thinks she is really ahead of Sanskar…
Swara “What!!! You did right to punish him but slug curse!! And I remember, Dad didn’t taught you that… He knows you well… Means you learnt it secretly!!!”
Ragini smiles sheepishly… Rohan controls his laughter… Aisha does the same…
Ragini “Leave all that Di… Meet my friend… Aisha… Aisha Mehta…”
Rohan takes a first look at where Ragini points… He gets shocked and overwhelmed… He is unable to speak…
Aisha waves at Swara… She still doesn’t notices Rohan…
Swara “Hi… BTW,he is Rohan… Also Mehta… Sanskar’s and my best friend…”
Aisha and Ragini looks at Rohan… This time Aisha gets shocked…
They have an eyelock…
Ragini thinks that he is the one about whom Swara was talking… Great…
Ragini “Hi Rohan…”
Rohan doesn’t responds… Swara also looks on confused… Ragini asks her the matter…. Swara shrugs her shoulder…
Swara “Aisha?? Hello????”
Ragini “Hello?????______________ ok… Alright… I have to do this…. (she sees a stone nearby and points her wand at it) Bombarda!!! ”
They come out of their world hearing explosion sound…
Rohan “I hate you Sanskar!!!”
Swara “Hey!! He is not here… You can see…”
Rohan “Then who did that??”
Swara points at Ragini… Ragini smiles sheepishly…
Ragini “I am sorry but you guys weren’t listening to me… ”
Rohan “Ah… It’s ok… You are Swara’s sister… And everything is allowed for you… BTW,you are beautiful…”
Ragini “Thanks… And I know that… Ah… BTW,where is your prince charming? I am eager to meet him…”
Rohan “He has gone to search for Lucky… (She gives a questioning look) I mean his brother… It’s his Orientation as well…”
Ragini “Oh… Ya I know… VP Maheshwari had told me about him…”
Rohan (to Aisha) “Well… I didn’t expected you to be here… It’s such a pleasant surprise…”
Aisha “For me as well…”
They hesitate but then give each other a formal hug then smile at each other…”
Swara and Ragini looks on shocked…
Ragini “Rohan!!”
He looks into her eyes “Yeah!!”
Ragini reads his mind… Swara shouts “Rohan no… Don’t look!!”
Ragini “Ah!! You are caught… I know it…”
Swara facepalms…. Aisha looks on…
Ragini “Aisha I think we should leave for the dining assembly…”
She gives a wide grin to Rohan… He looks on clueless…
They both go from there…
Rohan “What happened???”
Swara “You don’t know you are in such a big mess…!!”
Rohan “Huh??”
Swara “Nothing… I must go to my sister as she is dangerous… You go to Sanskar… And if he asks about me… Tell him I am in dining assembly…”
Swara goes from there…. Rohan goes to find Sanskar… He spots him somewhere…
Rohan “Hey… Where were you… I just met Ragini… Swara’s sister… Dude… She is really ahead of you…”
Sanskar “Really??”
Rohan “Yaa man… BTW, where’s Lucky??”
Sanskar “Oh… He had to report to dining assembly…. So he went…”
Rohan “We must go there… Swara also went there…”
Sanskar nods and they both leave…
Dining assembly…
Aisha Swara and Ragini reach the assembly…. Now it’s much crowded by the freshers….
Lakshya is standing there looking at something…. Ragini passes from behind… He gets the sandalwood smell…. He closes his eyes and feels it… A sweet smile spreads over his face… He turns back to find the source but Ragini has passed by then…
Lakshya “She’s here… I can feel her… I can smell her perfume… She is here… I know… I have to find her…”
Kavya comes there searching for Ragini…
Kavya “Who is Ragini Gadodia here…??”
Ragini stops there hearing her name…
Ragini “I guess I have a fan here…”
Kavya fumes even more…
Kavya “Miss Ragini Gadodia… I guess you have too much pride upon being principal’s grand daughter and you think that you can use magic upon anybody!! How dare you use that slug curse on my cousin!”
The crowd starts gathering to witness the drama…. Lakshya sees the chaos and comes there as well…
Ragini “Oh… That jerk was your cousin… Sorry I didn’t know that… (Kavya smirks) And thank Gopal for I didn’t know that from before… Else even for your misbehavior,he would have paid…”
Lakshya notices Ragini… He gets impressed with her confidence…
Kavya fumes… Rajat comes there with Kavita and Sahil…
Sahil “That’s Kavya… Why is she having an argument?”
Rajat “I guess,we have to see that to know… Well do not interfere BTW… Let her handle it alone… She has to learn…”
Sahil nods… Rajat looks at Ragini… He is awestruck seeing her… He just keeps staring at her….
Kavya “You just cannot use the curse on anybody..!!”
Ragini “And you just cannot touch anybody inappropriately without permission…”
Kavya “Don’t you dare mess with me… You don’t know my anger,I can do anything when I am angry…”
Ragini “Well sweetheart,you don’t know me…. I can turn anything in my favour…”
Kavya looks at her… Ragini happens to see in her eyes… She reads her mind… Rohan and Sanskar join them…
Rohan “Hey that’s Swara’s sister!?”
Sanskar “What!! Woah… Let’s see what she will do now…”
Kavya takes out her wand “Now just see what I do!!!”
Ragini knows what she is going to do… She being quick twists her hand with which she is holding the wand and turns her back twisting her hands even more…
Ragini “I guess I didn’t tell you… I don’t need magic to deal with jerks…”
She twists her hand even more… Kavya shouts in pain… Sahil is about to go to her but Rajat stops him…
Rajat “No… Don’t go… There are her other friends with her… Stop here for now”
Sahil “I am not a coward…”
Rajat “You want your sister to be proved as one…??”
He stops…. Rajat smirks looking at Ragini…. Lakshya thinks to intervene else the matter can go out of hand…
Swara “Ragini… Leave her…!!”
Ragini “Few more seconds di… I am having fun…”
Swara facepalms… Aisha supresses her laugh… Rohan and Sanskar are speechless… Kavya looks at the crowd seeing her with amusement… She fumes on her insult… She cunningly points her wand at Ragini from her twisted hands and is about curse her… Lakshya happens to see her eyes and reads her mind… Kavya is about to read the curse when Lakshya intervenes standing at his place only….
Lakshya “Hey Just stop it there both of you….”
They look at him…
Lakshya “The matter can be sorted amongst you two as well… Why are you both creating a scene here…?”
Ragini leaves Kavya’s hand and recognizes Lakshya at once…
Ragini (in mind) “Oh… Mr. Hotness!! But how dare he interfere in Ragini Gadodia’s matter!!!”
Ragini “Listen… That’s none of your business… So stay out of it…”
Lakshya (in mind) “Such an ungrateful girl… I saved her from getting cursed and she is showing attitude me…!! Lakshya Maheshwari!! (To Ragini) Girls like you are such an attention seeker… You should thank me instead of showing attitude!!”
Ragini “For what pray???”
Lakshya “For Savi—”
Ragini “Leave it… I don’t wanna listen… Coz I don’t wanna thank you… Infact,I forgive you… Just beware that you don’t interfere in my matters from the next time… (Lakshya is at the loss of words seeing her attitude… Rajat is flattered) And you (to Kavya) Remember my name… Ragini Gadodia… Better prevent yourself from coming in my way from the next time…”
She flicks her hair in style and walks off from there in attitude… All look at her unbelievably… Kavya fumes… She swears to avenge her insult…
Lakshya goes to Kavya “You alright??”
Kavya nods… Lakshya asks her to take care and goes from there… Kavya looks at him smiling… Rohan and Sanskar give each other a blank look…. Sahil goes to Kavya…
Sahil “You ok??”
Kavya nods and thinks of Lakshya…
Rajat thinks of Ragini…
Parvati comes up on the stage and addresses the assembly….
