Episode 9
Annapurna and Ragini come out of her cabin….
Annapurna “Ms. Gadodia can I ask you something??”
Ragini “No (Annapurna looks at her in shock) I mean unless you stop being formal and calling me Ms. Gadodia (Annapurna relaxes and laughs… Ragini also laughs) Call me Ragini when we will be in class and just Ragu when we are not… Simple…”
Annapurna “OK Ragu… Now can I ask? (Ragini nods) How you managed to control Richard and his gang… I mean they are really notorious but they are the ones because of whom we are informed of the indicipline among the students… I know them since my college days and they came in no one’s influence… They only came under our control when your Dadi… I mean Principal Gadodia took that charge…”
Ragini smiles and recalls…
FB SHOWS….
Sharmistha and Annapurna are talking…. Ragini sees Richard and his friend flying by…
She smiles seeing them and hears them talking…
Richard “See her… Principal Gadodia’s grand daughter… Must be having attitude… I can tell that by just her looks…”
His friend (Nick) “But the elder one is really sweet…”
Richard “Ya ya… She is good…”
Ragini comes in front of him and looks into his eyes…
Meanwhile Richard is speaking in his mind “Not just good… She is a real beauty… But I can’t tell this to you fools else I will be a topic of joke among you all and will loose my superiority among you… When she smiles,a soft breeze starts flowing,the flowers start blossoming,the moon seems bigger in the sky and it seems like my heart has started beating faster…”
Ragini starts laughing loudly…
Nick “You were right… She is not like her sister…”
Richard “Richard is never wrong…”
They start ignoring her and fly forward…
Ragini “I can read minds… And I know what you spoke just now…”
Richard’s eyes widens but then he becomes normal “We are ghosts… We don’t have body that you can read our minds…”
Ragini “But you guys I mean ghosts speak within yourself right… It’s just that I can hear it… BTW just now you said you are a ghost then how can your heart beat faster??”
Nick “Why will boss say about heart beats and all… We are dead…”
Richard is beyond shocked “She is right… She can read minds… She heard me…!!!”
Ragini smirks and nudges her eyebrows “Are… Don’t you know… Richard li—”
Richard “No… Stop… What do you want??”
Ragini “You to work under me and help me out…”
Richard “What help??”
Ragini “You will get to know it at the right time… And one more thing if you do more questions and answers then (To Nick) Nick I was saying that Richard—”
Richard “Boss… This Richard will always be in your service boss… Just a whistle and me and my whole gang will bow down in your feet…”
Ragini stands there with attitude rotating her wand like a don…

Ragini “Actually VP Maheshwari… It’s a secret… And I think we should let it be one…”
Annapurna smiles so does Ragini….
Ragini (in mind) “Now… I have to face Di’s wrath for the mess I am going to get her into… But she is my di na… She can do this little thing for me…”
Annapurna “Silance doesn’t suits you…”
Ragini “Actually I was thinking what you teach here??”
Annapurna “Transfiguration…”
Ragini “Strange… Di didn’t tell me anything related to that…”
Annapurna “It’s ok… You cannot learn everything from home… College needs to teach you somethings… Even my sons comes here since childhood but still they don’t know everything…”
Ragini “You have two sons??”
Annapurna nods “One is in Swara’s batch… And one will join this year…”
Ragini “With me???”
Annapurna nods…
Ragini “Wow… What’s his name??(Annapurna looks at her) I mean so that I don’t end up quarrelling with him… You know… I get my self into fights way too soon…”
She smiles sheepishly… Annapurna laughs…
Annapurna “His name is La—”
Sharmistha comes just then and interrupts her unintentionally “I am so sorry VP Maheshwari… I know I took time… I hope she didn’t bothered you much…”
Ragini “Mom!!!”
Annapurna “No Professor Gadodia… She didn’t bothered me at all… You scared me unnecessarily… She is really sweet and innocent… I enjoyed being with Ragu…”
Ragini smiles…
Sharmistha “Ragu??!!!!! That means she trapped you as well… VP Maheshwari don’t come under her talks… I know very well what a mess she is… Don’t know how she behaved like humans today…”
Annapurna “It’s ok Professor Gadodia… Sometimes even Sanskar surprises me…”
All three start laughing…
Sharmistha “Ragu… Let’s go home… Shekhar must be waiting for us…”
Ragu nods and begins to go… But she stops and runs back to Annapurna… She hugs her,kisses her on the cheek and says “We will meet very soon again… Till then if you miss me then you can visit our house… Bye…”
Annapurna smiles “She is so lovely…”
Sharmistha and Ragini goes from there….
Gadodia Mansion…
Swara is waiting for Ragini impatiently in their room…
Ragini comes there singing “Chadhti Jawani Meri Chaal Mastani Tune Kadar Na Jani Rama….”
Swara “Leave your Jawani and all and come on tell me…”
Ragini “Tell you what??”
Swara “Listen… I know you since your and my childhood… We both know that you can’t behave like a normal sophisticated human unless you have a motive… So now tell me… What happened after you went from here?”
Ragini “Ok fine… But let us sit first…( They both sit) ok… So… I have found out a way from which we can find about Mr. Mind Reader…”
Swara “Oh God Ragu… You are still stuck with him…”
Ragini “Come on di… It’s important… I mean I am Ragini… Ragini Gadodia… Who reads everybody’s mind then howcome some random wizard came and read my mind and went away just like that… I want to know who that person is…”
Swara “Ok… Fine… I am there if you need my help…”
Ragini “If!! IF!!!!I definitely need your help… And promise me you won’t deny after hearing my plan…”
Swara “I can sense a mess for me… I am sorry… I am not in… Good night… And let me sleep…”
Ragini “(in mind) oh no… It’s not going according to plan… Oh Yaa… Plan B… (To Swara) Ok… Then better stay away from my everything… From now on you aren’t included in anything which is done or planned by me… OR if I am a part of it…”
Ragini acts to get miffed and lies down to sleep… She then counts backward from 10 crossing her fingers… She knew that her plan B would be successful… But only the official announcement was needed… She said all those words for the sake of saying… The truth is that even she can’t live at peace without sharing anything with Swara…
Swara very well knows that without Ragini there is no fun… And no escape for her from the difficulties…. Ragini is her saviour… Her solution to every problem… She had helped her always facing all the problems as if she was playing with them and now when it’s her time to help her out, she cannot back off… That would be wrong…
Ragini (in mind) “5……….. 4………….. 3…………. 2………….. And—”
Swara “Oye drama queen…. Get up… I know you are acting… Share the plan… (Ragini gets up and looks at her smiling broadly…) I am helping you just because —-”
Ragini “I have helped you many times and you know that you will need my help in future as well…. And I am your cute little sister na then how can you not help me… Hai na???”
Swara “Arrgghh!!! Your mind reading thing sometimes irritate me… I was not going to say the sister thing!!”
Ragini “But you thought about it na… So I told you… Now listen the plan… But before listen to the informations I grabbed (Swara nods) Actually today morning when I went with Mom, we met VP Maheshwari… Mom went to Dadi and I was with her… In her cabin there are the forms which contains special abilities of all the students… We just have to check the forms and then we can find out who is the person…”
Swara “Well… I appreciate that you found out so much in such a little time but how are we gonna do it…”
Ragini “Simple… You will help me… Now listen to the plan (**MUTED**)”
Swara’s eyes widens as she listens to Ragini… After Ragini is done narrating her the plan, Swara bangs her head with her hand…
Swara “Cant you make a single plan without pushing me in a mess… Ragu… This is not fair…!!”
Ragini (smiling sheepishly) “Di… Please na di… I am your cute little sister na…”
Swara “No… You are a Devil (Ragini shows her teeth smiling) Fine… When are we starting??”
Ragini “After everyone are asleep…”
Swara nods…
Maheshwari Mansion…
Lakshya barges into Sanskar’s room and literally jumps on him…
Sanskar “Lucky I swear I didn’t had your share of cheesecake this morning…”
Lakshya “What!!! You ate that… Bhai!!! Aren’t you ashamed of lying even after knowing that you can’t lie to me!! BTW I am not here for the cake… But I will take care of that matter once this is solved”
Sanskar “What… You were not here for cake!! Shit!! I shouldn’t have told…”
Lakshya “Leave all that… I want to share something with you… (Sanskar gives him a suspicious look) Don’t give that look… Actually last week—”
Sanskar “Hawwww… It’s been one week and you didn’t told me…?? How could you do that Mr. Lakshya Maheshwari!!”
Lakshya “Be thankful that I am telling you… Earlier I had decided to keep it as a secret… But now… Recent developments suggests that I will be needing your help… So now you are a part of the plan…”
Sanskar “That is what I was thinking how come THE Lakshya Maheshwari came to tell some plan… Anyways I am in…”
Lakshya “Good for you… Actually last week—–”
He tells about his meeting with Ragini and everything else…
Sanskar “So now??? Wait a minute… Are you seriously going to marry her… Brother… Listen to me… It’s not your age for all this… You haven’t even started going to college also… Please… Wait for 3 more years… At least till graduation… And then—”
Lakshya “What!!! No…!!! Bhai!!! At least listen to me fully…. I haven’t seen her face… And I was not planning to marry her… I haven’t even seen her till now… How can marriage be possible… I just want to know how she looks… What she is like… I just want to know…”
Sanskar “Hmmmm… I got it… But how will you find her out… I mean Hogsmede is such a vast place… She can be anywhere… How will we find her… And on top of that we don’t even know anything about her…”
Lakshya “No… I focused on that day’s incident… And I realized that she is new here… She didn’t knew magic as she didn’t had a wand and was fighting like muggles but was still in the alley that means she is new here… And–”
Sanskar “She will be admitted in this batch of Hecate… That means your batch..!! Great but still the question is same… We don’t know how she looks… How are we going to find her then??”
Lakshya “That is also sorted… I just now heard Mom speaking to Professor Maheshwari… She told him that all the forms of the new batch have been submitted and she kept them in her room today itself… So we just have to sneak into her cabin and scan the forms…”
Sanskar “You mean to say scan specially the special ability column…”
Lakshya nods… And shares the further plan which is also muted…
Sanskar “This calls for some adventure… And I love adventures… Lucky… I am with you bro… But you know what… I am missing Rohan… If he would have been here then we three would have done that together…”
Lakshya “No… Then you wouldn’t have been included in the plan… Me and Rohan Bhai would have done it (Sanskar frowns) BTW when is he returning???”
Sanskar “Two days before your first day… BTW… When are we going??”
Lakshya “Tonight… After everyone is asleep…”
