Dadi stands at the door with a straight face while Ragini looks at her in tension…
Dadi “What happened???”
Ragini “Oho Dadi… Now plz don’t increase the suspense… Just blurt it out at once…”
Dadi “Ok fine… Here is your admission letter and you are also coming with us next month…”
Ragini “Yay!!!!!!”
Shekhar “That means MAA now we will shift there??”
Dadi nods…
Ragini looks on confused… She looks at Swara…
Ragini “Why??? Why shift??”
Sharmishtha “Ragu… There is something which you need to know….”
Swara “Maa… Let’s just show her na… We all will shift there tomorrow only…”
They all nod…
The Next Day….
Ragini gets emotional while the Gadodia family moves out of the house…
Swara keeps the hand on her shoulder…
Ragini “Di… We spent our whole childhood in this house… And we are leaving it forever today…”
Swara also gets tearful “Haa Ragu… But this is life… We have to move on… Our real world is waiting for us…”
Ragini “Real world…??”
Swara nods “We are not what you think… Rest you will know as you as you step in our world”
Ragini looks on…
Dadi “Shall we leave??”
All nod…
They all board a taxi and move to dombivali railway station…
After reaching the station they go to a phone booth…
Shekhar “But MAA… We could have gone there directly… ”
Dadi “Shekhar… Your daughters would have been left here… They are still untrained…”
Shekhar “Oh… I forgot…”
Ragini “What are they talking about?”
Swara “About apparating….”
Ragini “Huh…???”
Swara “I mean going from one place to another in a second without boarding any vehicle or moving from our initial place…”
Ragini “But how can we do that… These I have read– Wait a second… That means Wizards and witches do exist and Dadi Maa and Papa are one of them???”
Swara “We all are one of them Ragu… And btw congrats… You unlockedthe main mystery…”
Ragini widens her eyes…
Swara “Its ok… I was also shocked when i heard it first time…”
Ragini “Who said i am shocked… (Now Swara is shocked) I had always expected something like this… Wow… I am a witch…!!”
Dadi “Girls… Are you ready??”
They nod…
Dadi takes out her wand… She rotates it twice in air and points at the lock of the Booth…
Dadi “Alohomora”
The door unlocks…
Ragini “Interesting… It means i already know many of the spells!!”
Swara “You do!!????”
Ragini “Of course… I had been researching on them for years now… Now i understood… Why I was so fascinated towards all these… And why I can do that without anything when you all need training…”
Swara “I thought at least for the first time i will have more information than you but you are as usual… How come you get to know everything so fast???”
Ragini “Because I am Ragini!! Ragini Gadodia!!”
She says dramatically while running her fingers on the locks falling on her face…
Swara “Idiot!!”
They both laugh…
Sharmishtha “Girls come on… Else the muggles will see us…”
Shekhar “Muggles means–”
Ragini “The normal human being who aren’t even aware of the M of magic…”
Shekhar’s jaw dropped knowing she already knew it…
Swara “Its ok papa… She knows much more than that…”
Dadi smiles and says in mind “That’s why she is special… But still incomplete… Don’t know who will complete her and when will they meet…”
They all enter the Booth….
Dadi receives the phone and whispers Hecate Witchcrafts and Wizarding College
Swara “That’s the name of our college…”
Ragini “Interesting…”
Sharmishtha “Ragu… You said interesting… That means you know something…”
Ragini smiles “The College is named after the Greek Goddess of Magic Hecate….”
Swara “I don’t believe this… She knows more than half of the things…”
Ragini “Its ok na di… You tell me the other half…”
Swara “Thank you for the privilege madam…”
Ragini “It’s ok… You know i am so kind hearted….”
Swara hits her on her head…
Ragini “Ouch!!!”
They both laugh…
Suddenly Ragini feels like being squeezed…
Ragini “What is happening???”
Swara “Its ok… We are going to our destination… Initially you will feel like this but then this will be like used to…”
They all get squeezed in first and within seconds squeezed out of the trunk of a large Banyan Tree…
Dadi “Thank you Ficus…”
The tree opens it’s eyes and speaks…
Ficus “Always at your service professor…”
Ragini’s jaw drops…. She mouths WOW…
Swara “There will be more such wows…”
Ragini “I am eager for it…”
Dadi “Laado since you are not yet admitted officially here… So i cannot take you to college right now… After 15 days,the orientation will take place then only you can step in college…”
Ragini nods…
Swara “Dadi… I don’t trust her… She will definitely sneak in there…”
Dadi “Dont worry… No one can breach Hecate’s security… I myself look after that…”
Ragini “Don’t worry Dadi… I won’t disobey you…”
Swara “I doubt…”
Sharmishtha “Me too…”
Shekhar “Me as well…”
Dadi “Even me…”
Ragini fumes…
Others laugh seeing her expressions…
After sometime…
The Gadodias are in their new house in a place called Hogsmede located near Hecate….
Ragini “Won’t i get my wand… Even di has one…”
Shekhar “Ya Ragu… We are going to the Hogsmede Alley to get you the things required for your study and stay here…”
Ragini “I will also go…”
Sharmishtha “You have to… Wands select their owners… You cannot get a wand unless you go…”
Ragini “Perfect…”
Swara “I am also coming… I have some work in the Alley…”
Shekhar nods…
The Hogsmede Alley….
Shekhar and Swaragini reach the Alley….
Swara “Papa… I have some work… You go with Ragu… I will meet you in an hour near Hogsbar…”
Shekhar nods…
Swara goes…
Ragini “Papa… You saw that happiness and eagerness in Di’s eyes… It was like a child saw a chocolate house…”
Shekhar “She must have gone to meet her friends that’s why she looked happy…”
Ragini “Ya… Possible… (In mind) No popsy… You are very innocent… That happiness was of something else… Anyways i will find it out tonight…”
She smirks…
They go to Wandatorium…
As soon as they enter the shop, Ragini feels that her heart skipped a beat… She felt restless…
Lakshya is in the inner room of Wandatorium… He feels as if someone is compelling him to run outside…
He is there to polish his wand…
The worker finds him lost…
Worker “Sir… What else is to be done…”
Lakshya (coming out of his world) “Ah… Make the grip more comfortable… Will you??”
Worker “It will be done in half an hour sir…”
Lakshya “Good… You do it and I will just check on Sanskar Bhai… Don’t know where he went suddenly… He didn’t let me know as well… Has become clever…”
The worker smiles…
He goes out…
Lakshya (in mind) “Why is it like some force is pulling me outside… This urge is irresistible…”
He hurries out…
There Ragini also feels the same…
Ragini (In mind) “Why am I feeling so restless… Yet an unknown peace is there… Everything feels so right… So good at the moment…”
Shekhar talks with the shop owner Then calls out Ragini…
Ragini “Yes papa… I am coming…”
Ragini goes from there with Shekhar and the shop owner to other room…
As soon as she goes in, Lakshya comes out of the room and looks here and there…
They miss to see each other…
Lakshya “I should look for Sanskar Bhai…”
He goes out…
The owner shows wands to Ragini… She swings it…
Everytime she swings a wand a magical dust escapes it…
Owner “Interesting… She is also capable of handling any wand…”
Ragini “But none of these interests me…”
Shekhar “What do you want then?”
Ragini “Can I take a round and then i will select the one i like… Will that be ok?”
Owner nods….
Ragini roams around in the room…
She touches several wands but doesn’t find them alluring…
She passes by various shelves but still looks uninterested…
Suddenly her eyes fall on a royal blue velvet box…
Ragini “Uncle,it also has wand?”
Owner looks on surprisingly… Shekhar notices it…
Owner “Yes my dear… That wand is very special… Only three were made of this quality… Now only this is left… The special thing is that it is free of cost…”
Ragini “Still unsold!!!”
Owner “Wands select the owners dear… And this wand has selected none till now… The other two are already out… Don’t know whom will it select…”
Ragini “Can I see it?”
Owner “Sure… Its my work…”
The owner brings the box and opens it…
Ragini is fascinated by the view of the wand… A long,slender, fragile to look at but strong,shiny black wand lies before her eyes… Her eyes glitter seeing it…
Shekhar also mouths WOW seeing the wand…
Ragini picks it up and automatically the magical dusts starts coming out of its end… She swirls it in the air and the dust forms her name written beautifully in the air “RAGINI…”
The dust then turns to rose petals and falls on the three of them like someone is showering flowers…
Ragini “Perfect… I want this one…”
Owner (Still in Awe) “No my dear… The wand wants you… It has selected you as it’s owner…”
Shekhar “What is its speciality?”
Owner “It contains the hairs of the three most magical and powerful creatures on earth… Unicorn, Dragon and Phoenix… Ficus is immortal… We all know that… It has shed only three branches till now… And from those three branches,These three wands were made… Hence it is unbreakable… All the three wands are equally powerful but if two wands are merged together,None can defeat it… Only the special ones have these wands… Mr. Gadodia… Your daughter is one of them…”
Shekhar forces a smile but is worried…
Ragini is busy admiring her wand so she doesn’t listen to them…
Ragini “Uncle I am sure there must be something written about this wand anywhere…”
Owner “In the box…”
Ragini “Excellent… Thank you…”
She continues admiring it…
Shekhar “May I know the name of other two purchasers…??”
Owner “Well one is DP Maheshwari’s younger Son…”
Shekhar “You mean professor DP Maheshwari???”
Owner nods “And the other is—”
They hear lots of noise and turn to look at its direction outside….
