Arjun was sitting down on the chairs on his phone while Meghna and Karan were discussing their individual performances.
Karan: Bhabi, I have no idea on what I can dance to.
Meghna: You’re a good dancer, just pick a good song that can give with your good moves.
Karan: Hmmm, Arjun, what have you decided to dance to?
Karan and Meghna looked at Arjun who wasn’t even listening.
Meghna: This boy!
Karan&Meghna: Arjun! Earth to Arjun!
Arjun looked up.
Arjun: Sorry, a little distracted.
Karan: Arohi?
Arjun smiled: Yeah.
Karan: Did you invite her and her parents to get wedd
swaing?
Arjun: Yeah, they’re coming get in Friday as well.
Meghna was thinking about Arohi’s father and Sandhya, she knew Sandhya was over him and moved in but after all these years them facing each other will be crazy.
Meghna smiled: So Arjun, what did YOU want to dance to. Has to be good.
Karan: Yeah, Arohi will be watching.
They laughed.
Arjun: I don’t know.
Meghna: Come in guys, think.
Arjun: You have your song?
Karan: You’d know if you were listening.
Meghna: Haan Arjun, I’m dancing to Barso Re Megha.
Arjun: Wow, that’s a good one.
Karan: I know what I want to dance to, I’ll dance to Vele from student of the year.
Meghna: You’ll do great.
Arjun: What should I dance to?
Karan: You take your time thinking while and me and Bhabi practice our dance.
Meghna and Karan got into their own space and put their headphones in to start dancing.
Living room:
Kunal: Naina, have any idea what you want to dance to?
Naina: I do! I want to dance to Aaja Nachle.
Kunal smiled: Madhuri? You’ll ace it!
Naina: Thanks Jeeju, what about you?
Kunal: I’m thinking…
Kunal flexed his arms.
Kunal&Naina: Superman!
They laughed.
Kunal: I’m someone’s hero.
Naina: Yeah Di’s!
Kunal: Nah, she’s mine.
Naina: Come on Jeeju, we need to practice.
Kunal: Let’s go.
A few hours went by and everyone was dancing, Arjun decided what he was going to dance to(a little surprise)
Karan, Meghna and Arjun walked back in and didn’t see Naina or Kunal.
Arjun: Must be sleeping.
Karan: Yeah, we should get to bed as well.
Meghna: Goodnight Boys.
Karan&Arjun: Goodnight Bhabi
Meghna got into her room and and saw Kunal get out of he shower.
Kunal: You’re done.
Meghna: For tonight.
Meghna walked to the twins cots. And saw Maahir was still awake.
Meghna: Hey Baba, you not sleepy? Come to Mumma.
She picked Maahir who was giggling in his mother’s arms.
Kunal: Meghna, you shower up and I’ll put him to sleep.
Meghan: Okay.
Kunal kissed Meghnas forehead, Meghna went into the shower.
Kunal: Hey Champ!
Maahir just stared at his dad.
Kunal made silly faces making him laugh.
Kunal: Papa is funny isn’t he?
25 minutes later Meghna came out and saw Kunal with his camera recording Maahir who was still awake and just standing in his cot.
Kunal: Maahir doesn’t want to sleep tonight.
Meghna laughed: And why is that?
Meghna came and held Maahir.
Meghna: What is it Baba? Why won’t you sleep?
Kunal was recording Meghna and Maahir.
Maahir: Mmmm…Mumma!
Meghna and Kunal looked at each other.
Kunal: Did.
Meghna: He.
Kunal: Just.
Meghna: Say.
Kunal&Meghna: Mumma!
Meghna: You have it recorded don’t you?
Kunal: Yeah, it’s still recording.
Kunal held the camera clogging style so he was in the frame with Meghna and Maahir.
Kunal: Champ, say Mumma.
Maahir: Mumma.
Meghna started tearing up.
Meghna: My baby!
She held him to her chest.
Kunal: I can’t believe it, these two will be one in a few months.
Meghna: They’re growing too fast. Baba, can you say Papa?
Kunal: Say Papa champ.
Maahir: Ppp.. pp..
Kunal: Papa.
Maahir: Baba!
Kunal smiled: He’s going to call me Baba, just what you called your father Meghna.
Meghna smiled: I feel like crying!
Kunal: Don’t cry Meghna!
Kaira was still sleeping until she heard her parents talk. Kaira started making sounds and Kunal saw his princess wake up.
Meghna: We were talking too loud.
Kunal: Why don’t we sit with them both and teach them to say Mumma and Baba together!
Meghna: But…
Kunal: They’re both wide awake and I don’t think they’ll fall asleep anytime soon.
Meghna looked at the twins and decided it wouldn’t hurt.
The four of them were sitting in the bed.
After an hour Kaira had said Baba first and then Mumma.
Kunal shouted in excitement causing everyone walk into their room.
NK: is everything okay?
Dadaji: We heard Kunal shout.
Kunal: Sorry guys, the twins just said their first words.
Arjun: Wow! I thought one of their diapers exploded.
They all laughed and then walked in.
Karan: What was their first word?
Meghna: Maahir said Mumma first then he said Baba and Kaira said Baba first then she said Mumma.
Naina: Jeeju, you recorded it right?
Kunal picked up the camera.
Sandhya: You’ll have to record more things and show them when they grow up.
Karan: Just like mom did with us?
Nirmala: Yes, it’s just amazing! They grow up fast, too fast.
NK: That’s what happens.
Meghna: We’re sorry Kunals shout woke you all up.
Dadaji: Not to worry Badi Bahu.
They all left get room, Naina and Karan were getting into bed.
Karan: Naina…
Naina: Karan…
Karan: When do you want to have children?
Naina: I don’t know, I want to be a young parent but not too young.
Karan: Yeah, me too.
Naina: Karan, I love you. I love you a lot and I know that a child will signify our love but…
Karan kissed Naina to stop her from speaking.
Karan: You don’t need to explain yourself Naina, you want to wait then of course I’ll wait. I’ll be by YOUR side all the time
Naina: I know you will.
Karan was looking into Naina smiled eyes.
Naina smiled: What are you looking at?
Karan: My future.
Naina: How?
Karan: As cheesy as it sounds, I see the fortune in your eyes.
Naina giggled: Really?
Karan: Yup, and right now I see you give me a kiss.
Naina smiled and things got intimate…..
