Part 83:
The twins were downstairs playing with everyone who was sat downstairs.
Meghna and Kunal walked downstairs slowly.
Khyati looked up and ran to hug them both.
Meghna: Khyati?
Khyati: I missed you guys.
Kunal: We missed you too Khyati.
Kunal touched Khyatis head: How are you?
Khyati: I’m good Bhai, how are you?
Kunal: I’m good.
Meghna: It’s really good to see you.
Khyati: You too Bhabi.
Kunal: Is Rahul here?
Khyati: He’s with the twins.
Meghna: They must be having fun.
Kunal: They can’t have fun without me!
Meghna and Khyati laughed.
The trio walked to everyone in the living area.
Meghna and Khyati prepared lunch while everyone was busy. Aman had been trying to work out how to win the trail that was in a week.
Arjun walked into the kitchen.
Arjun: Bhabi? Di?
Khyati: Lunch is getting good ready.
Arjun: Can I help speed up the process?
Meghna: Yeah, of course you can.
Arjun helped the duo cook and then set up the table.
They all had lunch.
Naina was eating while she fed the twins. She looked around and didn’t see Aman.
Naina: Where is Aman.
Arjun: I saw him in his room.
Karan: I’ll go and call him.
Kunal: Karan, you sit. I’ll go and call him.
Meghna smiled.
Kunal got up and walked to Amans room, he knocked.
Kunal: Aman?
Aman looked up from his laptop.
Aman: Jeeju? Is everything okay? Come in.
Kunal walked in a nd sat opposite him.
Kunal: It’s lunchtime.
Aman looked at his clock.
Aman: It is?
Kunal: It’s not like you to miss lunch or and food time.
Aman smiled.
Aman:You’re right.
Kunal: I know you’re working hard for the trial coming up.
Aman: It’s crazy.
Kunal: I know.
Aman: You’re on bail for 2 days and the trail is in 5 days. I want to make strong case but there’s no evidence that can even get me close.
Kunal: Aman, thank you for taking this case but you didn’t need.
Aman: Jeeju, I didn’t need to take it. I wanted to take it, you’re innocent and I want to make sure very one knows it.
Kunal: Maybe if we eat we’ll think of a way.
Aman: Okay.
The two went downstairs and had dinner with everyone.
Aman sat in the living area, looking at the CCTV from the office, there was nothing between the time frame when the incident took place.
Kunal, Meghna, Karan and Naina joined him.
Karan: There has to be something.
Sandhya walked to them.
Sandhya: Maybe this can help.
Sandhya passed Meghna a piece of paper with an address.
Sandhya: That’s the flat she lives in.
Naina: Aman, you can go question her.
Karan: Yeah, as a lawyer.
Kunal: He can’t, she won’t give him any information.
Aman: I know how to get to her.
Meghna: It better not be dangerous.
Aman: It won’t.
The next morning Aman went to Malaykas flat. He was shades and dressed up in a very classy way.
He knocked on the door and Malayka opened it, she didn’t recognise Aman.
Malaysia was impressed.
Malayka: Hi, how can I help you?
Aman: Hi, my name is Aman.
Malayka smiled: Hi Aman, you want to come in.
Aman smiled and walked in, he looked around.
Aman: Nice place.
Malayka: Thank you, but I’m moving soon.
Aman: Really?
Malayka: Yep.
Aman: How?
Malayka: Well I’m being payed a big salary soon.
Aman: Is that so?
Malayka nodded her head.
Aman: What do you work as?
Malayka: That’s classified information.
Aman: Mysterious, the way I like my women.
Malayka smiled: I see that.
Aman: You look familiar.
Malayka: I’ve been in the newspaper because of what Kunal Chauhan had done to me.
Aman: Did you say Chauhan?
Malayka: Yes, do you know them?
Aman: I know a Karan Chauhan.
Malayka: Kunal is Karans older brother.
Aman: Wow, a small world.
Malayka: It really is, so how do you know about Karan?
Aman: Well long story short he’s married to the love of my life.
Malayka: Really?
Aman: Yep, hated him ever since. I would do anything to get her back. I loved her and she just left me.
Malayka: My sister would know how that feels.
Aman: Your sister?
Malayka: Yeah, she did everything to get Kunal and now she’s in prison.
Aman: What happened?
Malayka explained the whole situation.
Aman: Wow, you must be angry that he sent your sister away.
Malayka: I am.
Aman: I would seek revenge.
Malayka smirked: I have.
Aman: What do you mean?
Malayka then just looked at Aman.
Aman acting confused: You mean? The rape accusation is?
Aman smiled: Wow.
Malayka: You figured that out quickly.
Aman: I’m a smart man.
Malayka: I faked the whole rape thing, I left college and home to get revenge for what he did to the person who loved him more than anything.
Aman: I see.
Malayka: Would you like a drink?
Aman: Sure.
Malayka went up to get a drink but came back to an empty living room.
Malayka: Aman?
