Everyone was talking when all of a sudden the light went dim and Kunal came out singing.
And started to dance with Meghna.

Everyone clapped and cheered.
Vishal: That was a brilliant performance by you both.
Karan: I agree , Naina should we?
Naina: Let go and get it.
Kunal: Get what?
Karan: You’ll wait and see.
2 minutes later Karan came back with a huge gift.
Meghna: Karan?! What is this?
Karan: Bhabi , open it and find out.
Meghna and Kunal both opened it up to see a photo frame.
Naina: It’s a collage of different pictures.
Karan: Your wedding day to everyday pictures I snapped.
Naina: Karan I put it together to make up our favourite photographs of you both.
The bigger picture was the photo of Kunal applying Sindoor onto Meghnas mang on their wedding day.
Meghna and Kunal looked at each other.
Meghna: This is…
Kunal: Unbelievable.
Meghna: You guys did this?
Karan and Naina nodded yes.
Kunal: Thank you guys.
Meghna: Thank you so much.
The four of them had a group hug.
The evening came to an end soon. Meghna and Naina were with Sharda one last time before they had to leave.
Sharda: Ghudiya, Chiku, I want you both to be happy and Chiku you’ll be in your new house soon and I want you to be able to fulfil all your duties.
Naina: I promise Mumma , just like Di, I’ll make you proud.
Sharda: I know you will.
Meghna: Chiku will be fine Mumma.
The three of the hugged and then Sharda went home.
The next morning everyone left to go back to Jaipur. Nirmala and Sandhya left an hour early to get the Griha Pravesh things ready.
Once they were home Naina had entered the house with the rituals.
Everyone went back to their usual routine. Naina had started to work at the office along with Meghna, Karan started working at a private school as a music teacher. It was a Saturday morning and after doing the Puja Meghna and Naina started preparing breakfast. The door bell rang.
Dadaji: I wonder who that could be.
Shekher: I’ll open it.
Shekher opened the door to see an old woman.
Shekher: Mausi?
Dadaji and NK went to the door.
Dadaji: Vidhya?
Vidhya: Namaste Jeejaji.
Dadaji: Come in, NK take your Mausi ji’s bag.
Nirmala and Sandhya took her blessings.
Vidhya: Stay happy.
Vidhya took a seat on the sofa. She saw Ayush.
Vidhya: Who’s child is he?
Meghna and Naina came out and saw her.
Ayush ran to Meghna.

Meghna held Ayush.

Nirmala: That’s Meghna, our Badi Bahu and that’s Naina , our Choti Bahu.
Thy both took her blessings but as soon as Meghna tried she moved back.
Vidhya: How does this girl have a child already? Kunal only married a year ago.

Vidhya: You have an illegitimate child in his house?!
Kunal and Karan were waking down the stairs.
Vidhya: More disgusting than that is the fact you got this cheap girl married to our Kunal!
Kunal: Choti Dadi!
Everyone looked at Kunal and Karan.
Kunal walked to stand next to Meghna who was standing next to Naina who was holding her hand.
Kunal held Meghnas hand: Choti Dadi , I don’t know how long you’ve been here but as usual you’re quick to jump to conclusions.
Vidhya: Kunal, don’t you know how to speak to elders.
Kunal: I do, but what’s more important now is that I need to know why you’re disrespecting my wife.
Meghna: Kunal, please…
Kunal: No Meghna, what’s the reason?
Nirmala: Mausi was questioning about Ayush.
Kunal: Well let me clear the misunderstanding, Ayush isn’t neither mine or Meghnas biological son. He was our best friends son who passed away, we are now is mother and father.
Dadaji: You would’ve known that if you let NK speak.
NK: I was trying to explain.
Arjun came downstairs and Vidhya looked up.
Vidhya: Is that another child you’ve adopted?
NK: His name is Arjun, me and Nirmala are his legal guardians after his parents died.
Vidhya laughed: Is this a care home?
Karan: Is that why you’ve come here? To criticise us?
Vidhya: No , thus isn’t just your house , it’s my Jiji’s and I’ll be here for the next few weeks.
Sandhya: I’ll go and get the guestroom ready.
Vidhya: Run along now.
Vidhya looked at Shekher.
Vidhya: When did you come home?
Shekher: Kunal and Meghna brought me home.
Vidhya: Did they now?
NK: Yes , Mausi.
Nirmala: Mausi Ji, you should freshen up and I’ll get some food ready for you.
Vidhya went upstairs to her room.
Arjun: She is?
Karan: Dadi’s younger sister.
Kunal: Nothing like Dadi.
NK: Haan , she isn’t like Maa but she’s our Mausi and your choti dadu so please respect her.

Kunal left to go to his room.
Meghna: Kunal…

Karan: Anyone would be, Bhabi I’ll take Ayush to the park.
Arjun: I’ll join you both.

Karan and Arjun held Ayushs hand and left.
Dadaji: Meghna , you go and check if Kunals okay.

NK, Shekher and Dadaji left the room and went to the study.
Nirmala: Nainna , you come with me.
Naina smiled and followed Nirmala into the kitchen.
Meghna went to her room. And Kunal standing next to the window, she walked to him and held his arm and leaned closer to him.
Meghna: What’s wrong?
Kunal: Nothing.
Meghna held Kunals face making him look at her.
Meghna: You’re not going to share it with me?
Kunal softened his eyes as he looked at Meghna and held her hands.
Kunal: Sorry Meghna, it’s just I don’t like Choti Dadi.
Meghna: Why not?
Kunal: Too many reasons.
Meghna: Well , she’s going to here for a few days so you’ll have to put those reasons aside and be able to get along with her.
Kunal: It’s easier said then done.
Meghna: I’m sure it is but you’ll have to try. For me?
Kunal kissed Meghnas forehead.
Kunal: I’ll try.
Meghna: I’m going to check what’s happening downstairs , you come in a bit?
Kunal: Yeah ill just grab my laptop and things.
Meghna: Okay.
Meghna left the room.
Downstairs Naina served Vidhya.
As she started eating she spat the food out.
Vidhya: Are you trying to kill me?
Naina: Choti Dadi…
Vidhya: Don’t you know how to cook? Hasn’t you mother taught you anything.
Meghna: Choti Dadi!
Meghna was walking towards the dining table.
Vidhya: Badi Bahu, you should learn to keep that voice down.
Meghna: Not until I finish what I need to say , it’s easy for you to jump to conclusions.
Naina: Di…
Meghna: No Chiku, Choti Dadi, our mother has taught us very well and she’s done everything for out lives to be the best.
Vidhya: Well that’s not evident in the food Choti Bahu has made.
Meghna: Not everyone has the same taste buds and I don’t mean to be disrespectful but maybe you Shildon ask someone else to cook your food , that way you won’t need to insult anyone in the process, especially my Mother or sister.
Vidhya: Sister?
Meghna: Naina is my younger sister.
Vidhya: Looks like your mother found a good deal and got both her daughters married in the same house.
Meghna: Choti Dadi, you’re older than me and I don’t want to disrespect you in anyway but my what you’ve said isn’t appropriate.
NK: I agree.
NK walked to Meghna and stood beside her.
NK: Mausi Ji, there’s no need for you to make negative remarks about people you don’t know especially our Bahus mother.
Vidhya: Is that right?
NK: Yes, now Meghna I need you and Kunal to come to the study for work.
Meghna: Kunal is on his way.
NK: Do you have a copy of the file that I gave you?
Meghna: Yes , I’ve got a printed copy and Kunal has a copy on his laptop.
NK: That’s fine we’ll use Kunals laptop.
Meghna: Okay, Choti Dadi is there anything you need before I go?
Vidhya: I’m fine.
Meghna: Okay, Chiku is there anything hat needs to be done in the kitchen?
Naina: No Di, everything’s done.
NK: In that case Naina you come as well.
Naina: Okay Papa.
Naina and Meghna walked behind NK into the study, leaving a very angry Vidhya.
