It was 11 am and everyone was getting themselves ready. Meghna was getting her sister ready while Kunal, Khyati and Arjun were getting Karan ready.
Arjun: Karan Bhai, you look very handsome.
Khyati: Haan, the outfit was chosen by Naina Bhabi so of course he will look good.
Kunal: Karan , how do you like the outfit?
Karan: I like it.
Kunal: Does that mean you’ll get Naina to choose your clothes for he rest of your life?
They all laughed.
Meghna: Chiku, you look like an actual angel.
Naina: Thank you Di, for choosing the outfit.
Meghna: You chose it.
Nainna: Yeah Di but you’re the one who said it would look good and I always trust your judgement because it’s the right one.
Naina got off the chair and hugged Meghna.
Naina: I’m so happy Di.
Meghna: Me to Chiku , me too.

Everyone was at the venue , Karan and Naina sat together and we’re talking.
After the exchanging of the rings Arjun got on stage to introduce the dance performances.
Vishal first performed Bachna Ae Haseeno.
Next Khyati danced to Prem Ratan Dhan Payo
Dadaji: Now our next performance will be by our youngest 3 boys, Arjun, Vaibhu and Ayush!
Everyone clapped as the boys come on stage.
They danced to Channa Mereya..
Once they were done NK and Nirmala came on stage to introduce the next act.
NK: Thank you boys for that wonderful performance.
Nirmala: Next week have our Kunal and Meghna.
Nak: So give them a warm welcome.
Everyone clapped as the couple got on stage and started dancing.
The both danced to Dum Dum from the film Band Baja Barat, as they finished and got of stage Meghna went backstage to change into her next outfit to perform once again. Meghna was trying to tie the string of the blouse but was unable to do it. Then she felt a familiar pair of hands touch her hand and then tie the knot.
Meghna: Thank you Kunal.
Kunal hugged her from the back.
Kunal: You know I’m always here to tie and untie the strings.
Meghna giggled: Kunal!
Kunal: You look great, now go you’re being called on stage.
Meghna did a solo performance to Nagada Sang Dhol Baje.
After all the performances were done everyone was mingling and talking. Dadaji was with Ayush showing him around to everyone, Sharda was with Kunal, Vishal and NK. Nirmala and Sandhya got up on stage.
Sandhya: Ladies and Gentlemen, we’d like to introduce a surprise performance.
Nirmala: From none other than the happy couple, Karan and Naina.
Everyone was cheering and sat to watch them.
Karan came in stage and walked to Naina who was on the other end and held her hand. Thy danced to Jalte Diye.
Once the evening was over everyone went home. Meghna decided to stay at the guest house along with Kunal and Ayush.
Meghna went to Karans room who was sitting on his bed.
Meghna knocked on the door: May I come in?
Karan looked at Meghna who was standing outside the room.
Karan: Of course Bhabi come in.
He stood up and then waited for her to take a seat and then sat back down.
Meghna: I enjoyed the surprise performance by you and Chiku.
Karan: It was Nainas idea.
Meghna smiled.
Karan: Is everything okay Bhabi? You look worried.
Meghna: No Karan , I’m not worried at all, just a little tired that’s all.
Karan: You’ve been running around a lot but luckily you’ll be resting soon.
Meghna: Yeah , I’m glad we’re spending a little more time here.
Karan: Me too , I’ve grown fond of Boondi.
Meghna: I’m glad to hear that.
Karan smiled at Meghna.
Meghna: Karan? Could I ask you a favour?
Karan: What is it Bhabi?
Meghna: Promise me you’ll love Chiku forever, I know there’s no need for me to say it and I see the love you both have for another but I just wanted to say it.
Karan: Bhabi , you don’t need to explain yourself at all , as Nainas older sister you have every right to tell me this.
Karan held Meghnas hand: Bhabi , I promise I’ll love Naina till the very end and even beyond that.
Meghna: Thank you Karan.
Karan: You should thank Bhai , he’s taught me and set a great example for me. The love he has for you is unconditional and I wish both Naina and I could live the life you’re both living.
Meghna: I know Karan , I know you’re capable of making a bright future for yourself and Naina. I should get some sleep and so should you, tomorrow is your Haldi ceremony!
Karan: I can’t wait(!)
Meghna laughed and then left the room and headed to her and Kunals room. She saw that Kunal was waiting for her and Ayush wasn’t there.
Meghna: Where’s Ayu?
Kunal: Dadu took him.
Meghna: Oh okay.
Meghna had gotten ready for bed and then sat in the bed, her neck was hurting and so she was stretching and sitting down. Kunal noticed and then massaged her shoulders.
Meghna smiled to herself.
Kunal: How does that feel?
Meghna: That feels good.
Kunal: Good, now you relax okay?
Meghna closed her eyes and just felt like she was on a cloud.
After a few minutes Kunal stopped massaging her shoulders and then they both lied down in bed.
Meghna: I can’t believe in a week , we’ll be married for a year.
Kunal: I can, it’s been the most amazing year of my life!
Meghna: Mine too.
Meghna cuddled up to Kunal, who held her close to him.
Kunal: I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with you.
Meghna: That’s why we got married.
Kunal smiled: I know , it’s so surreal yet real.
Meghna: I know what you mean.
Kunal: I just want things to be like this forever.
Meghna: Yeah , it’s perfect because I have you and this big whole family.
Kunal: And I have you.
Kunal kissed Meghnas forehead then cheek. She kissed his back and the fell asleep in each others arms.
The next morning Meghna and Kunal got up early and started to prepare the haldi ceremony , the guest started arriving slowly around 1 pm and applied haldi onto Karan.
Nirmal: Meghna , you and Kunal take this haldi to your house for Naina.
Meghna: Can Arjun come as well?
Nirmala: Yes he can, he is Karans younger brother after all.
Arjun smiled.
Meghna: Maa , I’ll be back later in the evening as…
Dadaji: As it’s also Nainas mendhi in the evening.
Meghna smiled.
NK: You don’t worry about us here, have fun over there.
Meghna: Thank you.
She took the elders blessings and the three of them went.

When they arrived Meghna hugged her sister and then applied the haldi, Kunal and Arjun stayed for a few minutes and then left.
Kunal: I’ll come to pick you up in the evening.
He kissed her forehead.
Meghna: See you later.
Arjun: Bye Meghna Bhabi, bye Naina Bhabi.
Meghna&Naina: Bye Arjun.
Later when the woman applying mehndi on Naina, Meghna started singing and dancing.

By the end of the performance Meghna and Sharda were sitting each side of Naina and hugging her.
Sharda cupped Nainas cheek: I can’t believe you’re also leaving me.

Meghna: Haan Mumma , we’re always here.
Naina: We’ll never leave you.
Tears escaped from the three women’s eyes.
Kunal walked and saw them, he sat in front of the three.
Kunal: What’s this?
They wiped away their tears.
Kunal: My face isn’t that ugly that you need to cry.
Meghna: Are you sure about that?
Kunal: Pretty sure.
Sharda: It’s nothing like that Kunal Betaa , I just believe my two girls are all grown and leaving me.
Kunal held Shardas hand: Maa , they’ve grown up fast, maybe a little to fast for you but they’ve made you proud.
Sharda: They have.
Kunal: And who says you’re alone? Vishal and Vaibhu are always here.
Vishal walked towards them.
Vishal: That’s right Bua , I’m not going anywhere.
Kunal: Of course , you’ll get married and bring her here.
Naina: When are you planning to get married Bhai?
Vishal: Not anytime soon and she’ll have to be chosen by Bua.
Meghna: Mumma haven’t you chosen anyone yet?
Sharda: No, because it’s upto Bhaiya and Bhabi.
Kunal: Vishal, I’ve got a list of girls so if you need anyone let me know.
Naina: Jeeju! What are you doing with a list of girls?
Kunal: You see , it’s all the girls I said no to because I had Meghna.
Meghna: Besharam!
Meghna playfully slapped Kunal.
They all laughed.
Meghna and Kunal got ready to leave around 7pm.
Meghna: Mumma I’ll be here with the Barat and then I’ll get Chiku ready.
Sharda: Ghudiya, there’s no need, we’re all here to do that.
Meghna: Chiku is my younger sister so I’ll get her ready okay?
Naina: Haan Mumma, I want Di to get me ready.
Sharda: Atcha teek hai.
Meghna hugged her mum and sister and then left.
