Sushmita Sahela talks about her role in Katha Ankahee; says, “This role is very different”
Actress Sushmita Sahela is all set to join the cast of Katha Ankahe. The actress talked about her role in a recent interview and shared, “The character I play is Amrita. She is a positive, chirpy, and happy-go-lucky girl. She is Viaan’s best friend and they are meeting after 20 years. Basically, her character revolves around Kathaa and Viaan’s love story.”
Super excited for her new role she said, “I’m very excited about playing this character because there are many twists and turns now in the storyline.”
She added, “We started shooting a couple of days ago and my entry episode should be telecast soon. I took up this role because I think it’s different and interesting. I’ll be playing a pregnant girl and it is a challenging role. There is scope to perform and that’s what I am happy about. It’s very different from the role I was playing in my last show Mere Sai.”
When asked how she managed the highs and lows that are a part of her career, Sushmita replied, “There is always uncertainty about work in an actor’s life. We all face challenges and struggles, but as an optimistic person, faith and patience are what keep me going. I believe we are here to work. We stay away from our families and it’s not easy but we motivate ourselves and stay positive. I believe that dejection is a part of life and every setback is a new opportunity. So work hard, stay focused, and be dedicated. Your persistent efforts will never let you down.”
