Sushant Singh’s father files an FIR against Rhea Chakraborty and 5 others

Sushant Singh Rajput’s suicide has become a matter of immense pain to not just his family and friends but to millions of his fans too. The actor died by suicide on June 14 2020 at his Bandra home in Mumbai. It has been more than a month to his tragic death, but the Mumbai Police has been investigating the case thoroughly.

Today, a new twist just unfolded in his suicide case. Late actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s father K K Singh has filed an FIR against Sushant’s alleged girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty and five others for abetment of suicide at Rajiv Nagar Police Thana in Patna. He has alleged that Rhea took money from Sushant and instigated him to commit suicide.

Reportedly, Rhea and five other individuals have been booked under IPC Section 306 (Abetment of suicide), Sec 341 (Punishment for wrongful restraint), Sec 342 (Punishment for wrongful confinement), Sec 380 (Theft in dwelling house), Sec 406 (Punishment for criminal breach of trust), and Sec 420 (Cheating and dishonestly inducing delivery of property).

As per a report in a leading news portal, Sushant’s father has registered a 5 page FIR against Rhea on Sunday. The late actor’s father reasoned his ill health as the reason behind not being able to travel to Mumbai to file the complaint, and thus the case has been registered in Patna. Patna police have met with DCP (Deputy Commissioner of Police) of the Mumbai investigating team.

While speaking to media, Patna Central Zone IG Sanjay Singh said, “The FIR has been registered against Rhea Chakraborty under various sections, including abetment of suicide, on the complaint filed by Sushant Singh Rajput’s father.” In the FIR he has mentioned that Sushant had 17 crores in a bank account, out of which 15 crore were withdrawn to an unknown account.

Some reports also say that the FIR consists of,”Allegation 1: There was Rs. 17 crores in one of the bank accounts of Sushant. From that bank account, 15 crores were transferred into another account in which there was no connection with Sushant.
Sushant’s father has flagged this transaction and has asked for a probe.
IPC 341: Wrongfully restraining a person or in other words, holding him captive or locking up a person against his will.
IPC 323: Voluntarily causing hurt to a person or in other words, it is being alleged by his father that Sushant Singh Rajput was physically attacked.”

This news comes as a shocker because Rhea Chakraborty was in a relationship with late Sushant Singh Rajput. the actress had recently shared a post on social media to request Home Minister Amit Shah to initiate a CBI investigation in Sushant’s case.
