It came as a shock when we heard about actress Surekha Sikri getting admitted to the hospital as she has a brain stroke on Tuesday September 9. The actress is a very well known name in the television industry and her being unwell was sad news to millions across the globe. However, it has now been confirmed by the hospital itself that Sikri was discharged from the hospital on 22nd September 2020.
In an interview with Bombay Times, Dr. Ashutosh Shetty, the neurologist who was supervising Sikri’s case said, “Surekhaji has improved from the time she suffered the stroke. She recognises people. She is even walking with support. Of course, she will need time before she can resume working and needs physiotherapy now.”
Trusted-caretaker for the actor, Pinky said, “Honestly, her family members have forbidden me to talk. But since you have spoken to the doctor already, I can only add that Surekhaji is stable and we came home on the 22nd evening.”
We wish and hope that she continues to recover and gets even better with time passing by.
