Surbhi Chandana on her upcoming show Sheirdill Sheirgill: I am hoping that my new show doesn’t have to succumb to TRP pressure ever
Surbhi Chandna, who was last seen in Naagin 5, is now all set to essay a corporate professional, in her upcoming show, Sheirdill Sheirgill. The actress is always in search of new concepts and generally keeps away from the usual family dramas. Surbhi talked about it during a recent interview and shared how this show is being shot like a web show.
She said, “During the pandemic many things changed, and people started watching all kinds of content. My show Sheirdill Sheirgill is about a woman who is fearless and independent. She is also a mother and owner of an architectural firm. I found it challenging. Until now, the show has been shot in a very different way and we are all glad that we have tried something different in the rom-com genre.”
TV shows often start with a fresh concept, but later are forced to go back to the usual social drama because of TRPs. Agreeing to it, Surbhi shared, “The first thing I asked my producer was whether we would succumb to the rating pressure and give up on the original storyline. But Saurabh Tiwari assured me saying that let’s wait and watch. Let’s make something that we believe in and leave it to the audience. I am hoping that such a beautiful show doesn’t have to succumb to TRP pressure ever.”
Surbhi is also known for her role in shows like Ishqbaaz, Sanjivani, and Naagin 5. The actress recently celebrated her birthday with her Ishqbaaz co-actors.
