Sumbul Touqeer’s father to tie the knot for the second time on June 15

The news of Sumbul Touqeer’s father, Touqeer Khan, getting married for the second time is making the headlines. The actress and her younger sister, Saniya, successfully convinced their father to embark on another journey of matrimony. In the second week of June, he will unite in wedlock with Nilofer, a divorced woman with a daughter named Izra. Interestingly, Sumbul’s beloved uncle, Iqbal Hussain Khan (fondly known as Bade papa), who gained fame on Bigg Boss 16 during the family week, played a pivotal role in persuading his brother to embrace marital bliss once more. Now, we have obtained the inside scoop on the auspicious day itself. Touqeer Khan will exchange vows on June 15, in an intimate nikah ceremony graced by a select few attendees.

According to a reliable source of Etimes, “Touqeer Khan desires a modest celebration on his special day, with only his closest kin in attendance. He prefers to keep the spotlight away from the grandeur of his nuptials.”

During a previous conversation with BT, Sumbul expressed her elation, stating, “We are overjoyed and eagerly anticipate embracing them as part of our family. In addition to our father’s new wife, a new sister will enter our lives, and we couldn’t be more thrilled. Our father has been our unwavering source of inspiration and support throughout the years. Saniya and I are genuinely delighted for him. I am immensely grateful to Bade Papa, whose instrumental role made this beautiful union possible.”

Sumbul, who skyrocketed to fame through her role in the popular show Imlie, was most recently seen on the 16th season of the reality show Bigg Boss. Currently, she is collaborating with her sister Saniya on a musical project.

The actress has garnered attention in the media due to her strained relationship with former co-actor and friend Fahmaan Khan. When recently asked about the status of their bond, she confidently assured the paparazzi, saying, “There’s nothing amiss. We are doing well, and everything is going smoothly for us.”
