The episode starts with courtroom interrogation. Teerth’s lawyer questions him about his relationship with Suman, attempting to prove that she left him no choice but to demand a DNA test. The judge, frustrated by both parents’ actions, reprimands them for their immature behavior, warning that it could negatively impact Rishi’s mental well-being. Suman insists that Rishi would not be safe with the Mittal family, but Teerth’s lawyer seeks to discredit her as a suitable guardian by presenting abortion papers, claiming she never wanted the child and has been using him for political gain.
Suman is repeatedly questioned about whether she tried to abort Rishi at birth. She admits it, but the judge reminds the court that only a woman has the right to make such a decision. The judge then rebukes Teerth’s lawyer for his insensitive approach. Suman explains the circumstances that led her to consider abortion and shifts the focus to the recent mobile explosion incident. She reveals that Teerth was the last person to enter Rishi’s room before the blast and even presents CCTV footage. However, she expresses doubt that Teerth would harm Rishi. When the judge presses her on the real culprit, she names Devika, leaving the courtroom in shock. Devika immediately denies the accusations, and her lawyer tries to intimidate Suman into dropping the matter.
Meanwhile, Bhoomi plans to present Gulshan as a witness, but he has mysteriously disappeared under Devika and Vikram’s orders. Just when hope seems lost, Bhoomi plays a recorded video of Gulshan confessing that he orchestrated the blast under Devika Mittal’s instructions. Devika is left speechless, and Bhoomi clarifies that she would never accuse anyone without solid proof. After hearing both sides, the judge announces that the custody case will proceed while a separate criminal trial against Devika will begin. Suman is well aware of how dangerous Devika can be.
Following Devika’s exposure, Teerth realizes his mistakes and tells Suman that he is willing to withdraw the case in favor of applying for joint custody. However, Suman refuses, wanting no ties to her ex-husband in Rishi’s future. Teerth pleads with her to reconsider, but Suman reminds him of how mercilessly he killed her brother, shutting down any chance of reconciliation.
