The episode begins with a heated confrontation where Devika slaps Suman, accusing her of Rishi’s murder. Suman, unable to provide any evidence to counter Devika’s claims, finds herself trapped. The police, swayed by Devika’s manipulation, prepare to arrest her. Just as all seems lost, Teerth arrives, giving Suman a moment of hope. She rushes to him, seeking comfort, but is devastated when he confesses to murdering Rishi. Teerth explains that his political ambitions and desperate need for a turning point in his life drove him to commit the crime.
Suman, overwhelmed by the betrayal, slaps Teerth and vows to return to the Mittal house to seek revenge. Devika, confident in her power, mocks Suman, declaring that all evidence against her has been destroyed. She flaunts her political influence, claiming that Suman stands no chance against her. Despite Suman’s pleas, the police proceed to arrest her. Hema, desperate to save her daughter, begs Devika for mercy and even humiliates herself by touching Devika’s feet. Suman, however, yells at her family to stop, valuing her self-respect over their actions.
Devika remains unmoved and orders the police to take Suman away. After their departure, Teerth confronts Devika, reminding her of their deal that Suman would not go to jail. He threatens to expose her if she breaks her promise. Realizing the potential consequences, Devika calls off Suman’s arrest but demands that Suman and her family leave the city.
Though spared from imprisonment, Suman is shattered by Teerth’s betrayal. She vows to return stronger and take revenge against the Mittal family. Back at home, Teerth, consumed by anger, lashes out at his family, blaming them for manipulating him into turning against Suman. Declaring his love and respect for his wife destroyed, Teerth distances himself emotionally from his family, leaving the household in disarray.

I felt sorry for suman been betrayed by his husband
On some level what he did is even worse than his first betrayal, no good writer should put these two back together again. It won’t happen but I really do hope that Suman doesn’t remarry him and she takes down Devika and as many of the others as possible once and for all.
The show is a joke. I give it so many chances and it just keeps getting more and more disgusting.
Nothing makes sense anymore since they’ve clearly been gearing up for the leap, their last chance to stay on air.
First Gulshan was the one who set Rishi on fire and then killed him in the hospital, then somehow people think that Rishi committed suicide, then it’s implied Devika killed him, then it’s suggested that someone else put it on fire and only Devika knows Gulshan killed Rishi in the hospital, then now it’s back to Devika doing it. What about all those scenes of Kattu hiding from sight and asking Devika about who they were protecting?
Today’s episode was the lowest of the low. No explanation on how Devika’s father could have gotten this deal made, how did it happen so fast, what happened to all of Suman’s personal evidence, why is Teerth blaming his family and not Devika, why did Teerth not try to secretly help Suman in some way, why was the father crying at the end, nothing. 5 years gone and we’re probably not going to get answers for anything.
