The episode starts with Suman taking care of Akhil when he is vomiting severely. Despite his animosity toward her, Akhil apologizes to Suman for his past misbehavior with Bhoomi. Ashamed of himself, he holds Suman’s hand and expresses his regret. While Suman shows compassion and tends to Akhil’s needs, she makes it clear that she hasn’t forgiven him. After helping him, Suman quietly retreats to her room. Observing Suman’s actions, Teerth is baffled by her kindness toward Akhil, who had been extremely rude to her. Her sense of responsibility and care for the family amazes him. Suman explains that she once regarded Akhil as her own brother and was simply fulfilling her role as an elder sister.
Teerth determines to protect Akhil from Devika’s manipulative influence, fearing that she might brainwash him further. Suman later recalls seeing a bag Devika had been trying to hide. Although Devika didn’t notice Suman observing her, Suman suspects the bag holds something incriminating—possibly evidence linking Devika to Rishi’s murder.
The next day, Akhil shocks the entire family by touching Suman’s feet to apologize. His unexpected gesture leaves not only Suman but also the rest of the family stunned. When Devika questions Akhil’s strange behavior, he explains his gratitude toward Suman. Despite his drunken and erratic actions, none of his family showed him any sympathy—except for Suman, who cleaned up after him despite his constant mischief. However, Suman remains firm, stating that forgiveness is not easy and urging Akhil to apologize to Bhoomi directly. Akhil silently leaves the room.
Determined to uncover the truth, Suman barges into Devika’s room while she is trying to lock the door. Fiercely, she snatches the key to the almirah and opens it. Inside, she finds the suspicious bag and pulls out a blanket. Recognizing the blanket from the video of Rishi’s death, Suman recalls that the person attempting to kill Rishi was wearing the same blanket. Convinced of Devika’s guilt, Suman accuses her of being Rishi’s murderer. Hearing the commotion, the entire family gathers in Devika’s room. Devika, panicked, begins screaming. Chandrakant steps in and dismisses Suman’s accusations, stating that Rishi had set himself on fire and died in front of everyone.
Suman shows the video to Chandrakant again, pointing out the evidence that implicates Devika. However, Devika laughs off the accusation and reveals that the blanket was purchased by her husband, undermining Suman’s claim. Confused but still suspicious, Suman remains convinced that Devika is somehow linked to Rishi’s death. Seizing the opportunity, Devika manipulates the situation further and suggests to Chandrakant that Suman should be ousted from the family. She warns that if Suman remains, she will bring destruction to the Mittal household.
