SHOT 2:
Maheshwari Haveli:
Swasan room(Night)
Sanskar is half lying on the bed with the support of the back and ashi is lying in his arms. Swara is setting clothes in cupboard.Ashi is continuously speaking to Sanskar but he hardly gives answer back. Ashi looked at him and see sanskar has closed his eyes.
Ashi put her little hands on sanskar’s cheeks and asked
Ashi: what happened papa?
Sanskar open his eyes and slightly smile at her and said
Sanskar: my head is paining
Saying this Sanskar again closed his eyes.
After thinking for few seconds, ashi said
Ashi: may I do oil massage in your head?
Sanskar (Chuckles): u will do?
Ashi: mamma will also do.
Sanskar just smile at her innocent face. Swara who was listening them said
Swara: wait I will bring oil.
Later, sanskar is sitting on the floor and Swara on the bed while ashi is standing in Sanskar’s lap and he has wrapped his hand around ashi.
Ashi was following swara as she was slowly massaging same way she was also doing. After sometimes, ashi bend and asked sanskar
Ashi: feeling nice papa.
Sanskar nodded his head , ashi smiled and again got busy in playing with sanskar’ s hairs.
Swara: okay its done now you can sleep sanskar.
Ashi: over papa
Sanskar kiss ashi’s bubbly cheeks tightly and said
Sanskar: thank you
Swara: ashi don’t touch hands with your clothes its oily.
Ashi: okay
Sanskar lie on bed by keeping towel on pillow to avoid oil from sticking while swara took ashi to washroom and washed her hands.
Ashi came out and pout seeing sanskar sleeping.
Swara: what happened!?
Ashi: papa is sleeping
Swara: so what??
Ashi: I want to show my books.
Swara: ohh no problem you show him tomorrow now come on you also sleep.
Swara picked ashi and made her lie beside sanskar. Feeling her near sanskar turn and hugged her and both slept. Swara smiles and went downstairs.
Hall:
Swara came down and saw sujata adarsh pari and rahul are in hall.
Sujata: where is Sanskar??
Swara: he slept as his head was paining.
Sujata: take care of him.
Swara nodded and went to kitchen.
Kitchen:
Swara is boiling milk as sujata is habitual to drink milk at night. Then only sujata came inside and said
Sujata: when you are going give good news.
Swara got startled with sudden voice. She look confusedly at sujata.
Sujata: what are you staring me??
Swara: wo I and Sanskar are happy with ashi only.
Swara said looking down gaining lot of courage.
Sujata(shouted): then who will be heir to Sanskar’s property if you will not have son??
Swara’s eyes got wet but she didn’t dare to open her mouth.
Sujata: talk to Sanskar I want son from you and next time don’t answer me.
Swara just nodded and sujata left from there.
Pari came inside and saw swara pouring milk in glass.
Pari: you are okay swara.
She asked as she has heard sujata shouting.
Swara tried to smile and nodded her head.
After, giving milk to sujata swara left to her room.
Swasan room:
Swara enter inside and closed the door. She turn and saw sanshi still sleeping hugging each other. She took deep breathe and went to bed and lie on other side of ashi.Sujata’s words are revolving in her mind bcoz of that she is not able to sleep. Its not the first time but oftenly sujata used to ask her such things but she really don’t know what to do??
Its Midnight now and still swara is not able to sleep. She got up and went near window and started staring at the stars. Sanskar turn in his sleep and saw swara standing near window. He made ashi lie on pillow slowly and went to swara.
Sanskar wrap his hands around her waist and asked
Sanskar: what happened??
Swara:nothing
Sanskar came in front of her and said
Sanskar: then why are you standing here??
Swara: I was not getting sleep.
Sanskar (held her hand): you can share if something is worrying you.
Swara closed her eyes and took deep breathe.
Swara: sanskar is it necessary to have son???
Sanskar: (confused)means?
Swara: I mean we are happy with ashi then why we need son?
Sanskar: yeah right but why are you thinking all this??
Swara: as usual ma was asking that if we will not have son then who will handle your property.
Sanskar: ohh u know swara ma is having little old thinking and she is worried that after ashi’s marriage who will look after us.
Swara:seriously you also think like this?
Sanskar: no swara I m happy with ashi I m just saying about ma okay leave all that come and sleep.
Swara: hmm
Swara lie on bed and sanskar cover comforter on her properly, kissing her forehead he went to his side and slept. Soon swara also slept as she was feeling light after talking to sanskar.
Next morning:
Hall:
Everyone is in the hall. Ashi is in sanskar’s lap. She is busy in making “A” letter she had learned on Sanskar’s shirt. And sanskar is busy in talking to adarsh about business and all.
Swara came with tea and she give to sujata sanskar and adarsh while pari bought snacks.
Swara was about to leave when sujata asked
Sujata: where is your gold chain swara?
Swara’s hand reached her neck and there was no chain. She is not wearing from last two days but she always cover her neck with her hairs and saree but today in hurry she forgot.
Not getting any answer from her, sujata shouted
Sujata: I m asking you something.
Swara: I lost it.
Swara said scared of sujata’s reaction.
Sujata: how can you lost it??
She said getting up.
Sanskar: ma
Sujata: u don’t say anything I m talking to her.
Swara: i m sorry
Sujata: u know how much costly gold is but you are so careless.
Swara’s tears are threatening to fall anytime.
Sujata: this is last time I m leaving you next time don’t repeat.
Swara nodded slightly.
Ashi was asleep till now so sanskar picked her and left to room.
Swasan Room:
Swara came inside. Sanskar went near her and asked
Sanskar: where is gold chain swara??
Swara: I said na I lost it.
She said avoiding eye contact.
Sanskar: u r lying I can clearly see so tell me the actual reason.
Swara knew its waste to hide from him so said
Swara: I sold it.
Sanskar(shock): but why?
Swara: bcoz I needed money to bring books for ashi.
Sanskar: but u can talk to me and I would have taken money from ma.
Swara: ohh then ma will ask why you need money and when she will get to know that you want it for ashi’s books then she would not let her study at home also.
Sanskar: but why u bought books.
Swara (angry): bcoz I can’t let my daughter uneducated why ma is not letting ashi to go to school still such narrow mindedness.
Sanskar didn’t said anything as he has no answer.
Swara: now why are you silent why don’t you talk to ma about ashi’s schooling.
Sanskar: swara u know I already tried but she is not ready to listen.
Swara: these are just your excuses being a father can’t you do this much also for your daughter or sometimes I feel you don’t care for me and ashi.
Sanskar: shut up Swara how can you say like this.
Swara: okay tell me what you have done for both of us ??
Sanskar: now you want me to go against ma??
Swara:I m not saying that and I don’t mind if you respect her but at least think about ashi’s future.
Sanskar: but ma is stubborn swara
Swara:okay no need to do anything for us and u just don’t talk to me.
Ashi: mamma
Ashi who was sleeping till now got up due to their shouting. Swara went near her.
Swara: come ashi let’s take bath.
Ashi jumped in swara’s arms.
Sanskar: swara
But she ignored him and went to washroom with ashi.
