THE STORY OF US – Chapter 16 by Sana

ANIKA’S POV

I opened my eyes only to find everything dark and it looks like we are in middle of Forest or something ? We have been driving for two hours and no matter how hard I pester him to tell me where he is taking me , he won’t say ! At the end I guess I got bored that I fell asleep and not to mention when I woke up to find I was in a forest , where is this man ?

“Hey girl , you are a great sleeper not once you even stirred in your sleep” Shivaye said as he opened the door at my side and stood there . I see that he wasn’t not wearing his suit anymore but a simple white T-shirt and a jean jacket over it with dark jeans , his hair not styled but a little messed up but he looks Handsome , Hot and young ?

The whole day who was with me wasn’t Shivaye Singh Oberio but Shivaye . Shivaye was so different from SSO , he was carefree , understanding , caring , kind and fun .
Maybe there is something that is holding him back being
Shivaye . I have this feeling there is more about this man who is infront of him waving a hand in front of my face .

” Earth to Anika , are you done checking me out ?” he winked at me and I really have to admit I will never get tired of staring at him and there is this feeling that i haven’t experienced before . ” I was checking the place” I started looking here and there avoiding eye contact when he laughed ” Fine , are you planning to sit there whole time” he said gesturing me to step out of the car but I shook my head ” no way Shivaye , this is a forest and there would wild animals who will eat us and I should really have thought before coming with you” I said firmly and he replied ” I would have let you sit there but how can I let you knowing there is spider inside it” there was his smirk back again .

“what?” I jumped out from the car and got behind Shivaye . He seriously says that every time that he wants everything to be clean and tidy , judges when I eat my fav aloo puri that it is unhygen when his own car have spiders , that is the thing I am so scared of so much .

Shivaye chuckled ” Can you tell me what’s your definition of Spider , please Anika Because you are acting as if some hulk it is !” and the only thing I want right now is the blue eyed monster knowing it ” No , to see this is my car and I was kidding there is no Spidey ” he completed totally laughing . As much as I wish to see him laugh I want to punch him , god this is so emabrassing and I wish the ground will swallow me soon .

I thought he was going to pick on this forever until he said ” Come now , we have to go” he said and I smiled ” I’m not coming when the person who I am going with is YOU” I thought we are going to argue but he pulled me by my wrist and led the way , I stomped and trailed behind him muttering under my breath how stupid I was to follow this controlling jerk .

I was about to shout at him but stopped on my feet when I took the view infront of me . It was the most beautiful and breath taking one I ever seen . It was all green and we were on top of the city that I could see everything so tiny . It looked life if it was night I could touch the sky and take the stars from it . The wind slapped my face making hair move around but it feels so good , away from everything and with him .

”Do you like it?” Shivaye asked me and I replied ” Are you kidding me , I loved it ! infact how on Earth did you find this place ?” I ended up asking him another question and then he smiled , he looks so good when he smile he should do that often . He sat on one of large rock making space for me and I followed him and sat beside him , our knees were brushing each other and there was butterflies in my stomach .

” When I was young my grandfather use to bring me here at least once in a week . He found this place and the only one who know about it is me and dada . He use to make me sit in his lap and tell me stories which are not fairytales but real ones . dadaji was a great man and everyone had a huge respect for Him ” he was proud of grandfather and that smiles says it all . ” We were great partners in everything , you know . We use to eat together and on holidays he use to take me to office and tell me about his business and life . I use to share everything with him and seeing him I decided I just wanted to be like him a business man . When I told him , he was too happy and taught me some basics . When I was ten he grow pale and weak , he was sick and dying ” He took a deep breath and I gave a squeeze to his hand for which he gave me smile before turning to look at the world under us ” dadaji was so disappointed with his sons , they were always arguing and there was no Love in between them and they only thing they see is money . He asked me to take care of the Oberio business and protect the family and keep them happy ” he sighed and continued ” I promised him and from then onwards I was busy doing that and trying to balance everything ” he completed by taking a deep breath and looked at me and chuckled ” I m boring you , isn’t ?” he asked and I shook my head ” No , it was great to know about your dadaji and I’m sure he is proud of you ”

Shivaye was really a great son , grandson and brother .
He had a responsibility from a young age to look out for his family that he forget to enjoy his own life . He just thought the world was in his shoulders and if he takes his eyes for a minute then it will shatter , he was really young at heart but he was just being strong for his family . Everyone thought that Shivaye Singh Oberio is cold hearted man who doesn’t have emotions for anything other than his family but it’s just things made him to be like that , even I thought like that and I’m glad that he is showing this side of his to me . something only I know and I feel special ?

We sat there for a long time talking about random things and have you ever thought that Shivaye is non stop talker ! Well then he is , he just doesn’t stop . He was telling me about his childhood with his grandfather , wherever they went together , what they did , the stories that his grandfather told him and many more things .
when he tells he grins and smiles wide thinking about the memories with a twinkle in his eyes . After what seemed liked eternity we went back to the car and it really didn’t feel like I want to leave the place which is a place where I have my memories with Shivaye .

I made him promise that he will take me here and he gladly agreed and also he said he trusted me not to tell the place to anyone like really I was sleeping the whole time and I really don’t which part it is really . It was evening now and I didn’t want to call it a day right now and I was more than happy when Shivaye announced .

” We are going to our next desitination and before that I want you to meet someone”

who is that someone ? Where is their next place ? Where is Tia ? Is she together with Rohit now ? How will Shivaye react when he knows about it ? Will Anika’s father survive ?

There is many more questions that I have to answer and most important one is Are they in Love ?
