Thank you everyone for your comments. It was lovely to see such a great response! I am really so so so sorry for posting this late. I was really busy with work rest assured I will try to post at least 4-5 updates this week to make up.
The episode starts with…
At the café:
Riddhima: Okay so guys are you done eating? We are getting late for shopping.
Shovan: Yes, I just need to finish my last bite.
Shaina: Mumma I am done eating.
Riddhima: Okay you two wait here while I’ll go pay the bill.
They leave the café and shop around in the nearby mall. While Shovan and Shaina fixate and get fasinatee by the toys they find Riddhima does her shopping – kids’ clothes, her clothes and essentials for home. After that they leave to go to the cinemas.
Meanwhile Vansh in his office:
Vansh: Angre I need all details of Riddhima where she lives, what she does and all about her life.
Angre: But boss why all of a sudden?
Vansh: I’ll tell you later when the time comes.
Angre: Okay boss.
Later Angre tells Vansh all about Riddhima – how she has just moved back from Delhi, started practising in City Hospital and her house address. Vansh goes to Riddhima’s house but doesn’t find her there. So, decides to call Angre to find out where she was. Angre calls Sejal.
Angre (on the phone): Hi Sejal this is Angre here.
Sejal (little confused): Umm hi Angre, how can I help you?
Angre: I needed to know where Riddhima is right now?
Sejal: What work do you have with Riddhima?
Angre: I just wanted to ask her about wedding arrangements. I mean I am helping Shivin uncle from Sameer’s side and I was told Riddhima was helping with your rituals. So, if I could get her location please, it’s kind of urgent.
Sejal (hesitant): Okay!
Angre tells Vansh about Riddhima being at the cinemas and Vansh goes there.
Vansh (thinks): Today you have to answer all my questions.
At the cinemas:
Riddhima: okay guys come on movie starts in 5 mins we need to get our snacks and settle in.
Just then Vansh comes there, he looks around and finds Riddhima with the kids. He approaches them.
Vansh: Hi Riddhima, how are you?
Riddhima (shocked because she was with the kids): Hi, what are you doing here?
Vansh: I need to talk to you.
Just then the kids come up to her.
Shovan: Hello Sakshi’s mamu.
Shaina: Mumma we know him remember we told you we met him in our school.
Riddhima: Yes, I know but we are getting late for the movie it starts in like a minute.
Kids: Okay! (they go inside the cinema theatre).
Vansh (pulls Riddhima back): I am talking to you! And you are more interested in that stupid movie.
Riddhima: Firstly, I am not interested in talking to you and secondly that movie is important for my kids so it could be stupid for you but it’s my time with them, so excuse me. (walks inside to join her kids).
Vansh: oh god why is it so difficult to talk to this woman. (he buys one ticket for himself to go talk to Riddhima).
Inside the theatre:
Riddhima: okay kids these are our seats come let’s settle down.
Just then Vansh comes and sits beside Shaina. The seating was Vansh and Riddhima on both ends and the kids in the middle. Riddhima was sitting on the last seat of the row so Vansh didn’t have a choice but to sit beside Shaina.
He tries to talk to Riddhima for the first half of the movie but hardly had the opportunity.
Riddhima: Kids stop jumping on your seats sit still the cinema staff will kick us out.
Vansh who was observing this found it amusing looking at the mother – children bonding and their sweet talks. Though he had many questions he decided to enjoy this moment regardless of the truth. He watches the movie and bonds with the kids during the movie shares popcorn, and drinks with them. After a while Shaina who was sitting beside him puts her feet up on his lap. Riddhima who noticed this tried to stop her but Vansh signalled her otherwise. Riddhima throughout the movie had mixed feelings about Vansh bonding with the kids.
Riddhima (thinks): I don’t know if I should feel happy that my kids are getting the love of their father or feel bad about the fact that I am not ready to answer Vansh’s questions. I don’t know how he’ll react knowing the truth. I don’t want him to take my kids away from me. I know Vansh loves kids, he was so excited to learn about Ishani’s pregnancy, I am sure he will want his kids, but I also know he’ll want them without me. And I can’t live without my kids. I can’t let this happen.
Outside the theatre (after the movie):
Shaina: Mumma I want to use the washroom
Shovan: Me too
Riddhima: Okay fine go but come outside I’ll be waiting for guys outside. Don’t go wandering around.
Kids: okay mumma (and run to the washrooms).
Vansh: Riddhima! I have been trying to talk to you for the entire afternoon.
Riddhima: Well if you were observant enough you would know by now that I am busy and would have left. But you are here wasting your precious time that you could have used making money on us and the apparent stupid movie.
Vansh: Stop that sassiness of yours. I am not here to listen to your nonsense. Just answer me whose kids are those.
Riddhima: Mine! Who else?
Vansh: I know that! Who is the father?
Riddhima: Why should I tell you it’s none of your business.
Vansh: Stop that! Just answer me!
Before Riddhima could say anything further the kids came back and found there mother still inside so just came running up to her.
Kids: mumma you are still here?
Riddhima: Yes, I was just talking to Sakshi’s mamu but we can go now.
The kids run ahead while Vansh pulls Riddhima back to stop her from going before finishing talk but accidently pulls her too hard and she falls into his arms. The share an eye lock. A passer-by asks them to move from the entrance which breaks their trance.
Vansh: You need to finish answering my questions.
Riddhima: Mr Raisinghania, my kids are waiting for me this can happen some other time (saying so she leaves the cinemas).
Vansh: Damm it Riddhima! Why are you getting so difficult? I’ll try tomorrow, I am not letting this go so easily (he leaves the cinemas too).
Later the same night at Riddhima’s house:
Sejal: So Vansh came to the cinemas to speak to you. Oh god! That Angre fooled me, he told me he wanted to speak to you about some wedding help.
Riddhima: It’s okay Sejal! It’s not your fault. You didn’t know what they were planning.
Sejal: But Riddhima what will you do know? Vansh is desperate to know the truth.
Riddhima: I know that he is trying to know the truth, I will deal with it. Let’s sleep it’s getting late.
Next morning Vansh’s office:
Angre: So bhai did you find the truth?
Vansh: Nah! She just hit around the bush, but I am going to her hospital. If she thinks she can get away, then she is sadly mistaken. I want my answers and she doesn’t have a choice but to answer.
Angre: Okay bhai let me if you need any help (and goes from there).
Vansh (thinks): Enough of running away Riddhima, I am coming to get my answers.
At the Hospital:
Riddhima: Janvi can you please come to my cabin I need to discuss the new patient in room 5.
Janvi: Yes, sure please give me 5 mins.
Riddhima: Sure, no worries.
At Riddhima’s cabin:
Riddhima and Janvi were discussing the new patient when Vansh came to the hospital. He asked his way around the hospital to find Riddhima and was eventually told she was in her cabin on 10th floor. He makes his way up to her cabin hoping to get all his answers.
Riddhima: We need to monitor the condition first for at least a week before we can decide what changes we need to make.
Janvi: Okay! Dr also I wanted to ask are you Siya’s new doctor?
Riddhima (astonished but composed herself to avoid suspicion): Umm yes, I am, the hospital usually has more senior staff handle coma patients, so I have decided to take Siya’s case.
Janvi: I am glad Siya has you. You are a good doctor; I have faith that under your treatment Siya will recover soon.
Vansh: WHAT! She is Siya’s new doctor. (he was at the door not intending to disturb their meeting, was a little shocked when he found out Riddhima was the new boss, but what shocked him the most was that she is Siya’s new doctor though he trusted her but the incident with Siya that took place six years back he wasn’t comfortable with this new found information).
Janvi: Vansh bhai why are you standing at the door please come in (she said looking at Riddhima hoping she will invite him in since it’s her cabin).
Riddhima: Yes, Mr Raisinghania please come in.
Vansh: Riddhima I need to talk to you.
Janvi: Bhai you know her?
Vansh: Janvi hasn’t Dr Sharma told you that at one point in her life she used to be Mrs Riddhima Vansh Raisinghania.
Janvi: WHAT! She is your wife? OMG, I had no idea.
Vansh: Well she is an expert in hiding things, so I am not surprised.
Riddhima: Well Janvi your BHAI hasn’t told you how good he is at reaching at a conclusion before knowing the entire truth.
Vansh: SHUT UP RIDDHIMA!
Janvi (hearing them bicker she decided to excuse herself): Well I think I should go check that patient and also leave you guys alone.
Janvi (thinks): Oh god! Riddhima is my Bhabhi, omg does that mean the kids are hers and Vansh bhai’s. I always wanted bhai to have a happy family. Bhai had been so supportive of me and Aryan. Always taken my side over his own brother and loved me like his own sister. I need to speak to Riddhima about this tomorrow.
Vansh: Well DR SHARMA now can we finish our conversation from yesterday.
Riddhima: Well there is nothing to finish I told you the truth. They are my kids and the father are none of your business.
Vansh: Riddhima are those kids mine? I need to know. You can’t keep my kids away from me.
Riddhima: Really Vansh! Why do you always have to ask, why not answer my questions first. Why didn’t you trust me six years back? Why didn’t you ask me for my side of the story? And what if I told you those were your kids; would you trust me? You are asking me the truth but how much faith do you have in me.
Vansh: Those are my kids?
Riddhima: ANSWER MY OTHER QUESTIONS?
Vansh: Fine! I didn’t ask your side of the story because I was furious. You broke me, broke my trust then how could I have trusted you. You are right I don’t have faith in you. I would want a DNA test to confirm.
Riddhima (shattered that he doesn’t trust her and would go for a DNA test): Well! Thanks for the answers, but I will not allow a DNA test. You don’t deserve it.
Vansh: You can’t stop me!
Riddhima: I am the mother I have all the rights to stop DNA test on my kids. Seriously Vansh try me and I will make sure you regret it.
Vansh: I will get what I want! Wait and watch (he leaves from there, his face completely red in anger and despair).
Same afternoon at the school:
Shaina: You know Sakshi your mamu came to the movies with us.
Sakshi: Really? Mamu hates movies, but why was he watching with you guys?
Shovan: I think he wanted to speak to mumma about something.
Shaina: Maybe we can ask him ourselves why he came?
Sakshi: Yes, good idea why doesn’t you guys come over to my house then you can meet mamu and also ask him about yesterday.
Shovan: Yes, good idea.
They go to VR mansion in the school bus along with Sakshi.
VR mansion:
Ishani (smiles): Hey! What are they doing here?
Sakshi: mumma they want to meet mamu so I brought them here.
Ishani: They want to meet Vansh bhai? But why?
Shovan: Aunty we are hungry can we please go in?
Ishani (laughs): Yes, please let’s go in. You guys wash your hands I’ll ask the servants to serve lunch.
Kids: okay! (they run inside).
The kids have lunch and play with each other. While playing Shovan runs into Kabir who was passing by.
Kabir: what the hell! Can’t you see?
Shovan: Well! You should have watched where you were going.
Kabir: Hey! You little rat stop that right here. Don’t think you can act smart with Kabir.
Shaina: Uncle why are you being so mean to us.
Kabir: Well who said I had to be nice to you guys (he walks away but then realises that these kids are the same he saw with Riddhima at the café).
Shovan: That uncle is mean we need to teach him a lesson.
Sakshi: But how?
Shaina: Do you have marbles and a table tennis ball?
Sakshi: Yes, but what’s the plan?
Shovan and Shaina tell the plan to Sakshi and they all giggle at their smart plans.
Outside Kabir’s room:
They drop a metal vase to get Kabir’s attention. As soon as Kabir comes out he slips on the marbles spread on the ground and has a hard time getting back to his feet.
Kabir (in pain): You devils! (runs after them).
They all reach the poolside. Kabir slips on the table tennis balls laid by the kids and land straight into the pool. While the kids enjoy their little victory and jump up and down rejoicing that they taught a mean uncle a lesson.
Kabir: You only have time until I come out. Run for you lives if you can!
He runs after them. All the three kids run into the house and go towards the dining area. Kabir keeps chasing them so that he could shout at the kids. They all go into the kitchen chasing each other When Shovan climbs on the table and reaches for the flour container, meanwhile Sakshi and Shaina distract him. When Shovan brings the container down they all together splash the flour on him. Kabir looks like a white ghost with pool water and flour stuck to him.
Hearing him the entire family came into the kitchen and were shocked to see Kabir like this.
Precap: Vansh and kids spend time together. Vansh and Riddhima lock horns again at Riddhima’s house. Kabir finds out that the kids are of Vansh and Riddhima’s. Sejal and Sameer have their haldi ceremony. Riddhima confides into Janvi about her past with Vansh.
