Sreejita De opens up on her marriage plans with beau Michael; says, “We will shift to Germany in a few years”
Sreejita De and beau Michael Blohm Pape have been dating for over four years now. The couple is now all set to tie the knot later this year. Sreejita talked about it in a recent interview and shared, “We plan to get married in July. We will do a court marriage and then have a church wedding in Michael’s hometown in Germany. Post that, we also plan to have a Bengali wedding in October or November. We may do that in Goa during winter so that the weather is nice.”
Talking about how their love story began, Sreejita said, “Back in 2019, I was at a restaurant with my friends and I met Michael. He was there with his friends and we smiled at each other. I found him attractive and nice, so I wanted to talk to him. He realized that and came up to me and we had a short conversation. After that, we connected and stayed in touch. That’s how it all started.”
Sreejita, who was recently seen in Bigg Boss 16, says that she plans to move to Germany. “After we get married, we plan to be in India for three or four years after which we will move to Germany. I will manage my acting career from there and keep coming here every few months.”
She added, “When Michael came to India in 2018, he had come here just for a few months, but we met and he extended his stay. Now it has been four years and at some point, he, too, wants to return home.”
Michael also added to the conversation and shared that he is looking forward to getting married. “Sreejita has brought balance into my life. When I first came to India, it was a work trip. I never thought that I would find my life partner here. But when I met her and got to know her closely, I realized that she is the one. I got more connected to the culture of India because of her and we started celebrating festivals together. We both are very excited about our wedding.”
