Aditi Rajput who won the twelth season of Splitsvilla along with Jay Dudhane in spite of being good friends with Jay never struck a romantic chord with him. They parted ways post the show and while Jay and Aditi continue to be good friends, Aditi has found love in choregrapher Sarang Rai.
During a recent interview with India Forums, Aditi talked about it and shared, “We met in Dehradun, it was all of a sudden that we were at the same place at the same time. He saw my Instagram story and approached me for a collaboration. We met, we liked each other’s vibe and rest is history.”
When asked about her first impression of Sarang, Aditi said, “I found him very chivalrous. He was decently dressed. He opened the door for me and spoke with a lot of respect. So, I loved all that about him but I had a complain. I was annoyed with his hairstyle.
Talking about how the proposal happened, she shared, “I was actually trying to be a cupid and set him up with a mutual friend but then I got to know that he likes me and we kept on meeting every while for professional reason. Post a couple of days, when our work was done, he expressed that he likes me and I straight up told him that I don’t have time for casual relationships. I asked him if he’s up for a serious relationship wherein we can think about taking it to the next level and he agreed without batting an eye-lid. His not even taking a moment to reply made me think that he’s the one.”
She added, “While I feel this is quite a casual proposal, I really liked how genuinely he expressed his feelings. To be honest, I’m still waiting for a grand proposal (winks and laughs). I love the fact that he cannot lie. He is extremely bad at it. He spoils me for good, I feel pampered, cared for, safe, and most importantly, I feel like myself; just a better version when I’m with him and the fact that he loves me unconditionally.”
