It took about 3 days for the messengers to reach Ayodhya. Dasharath promptly sent back the messengers with the message expressing his delight over the happy turn of events agreeing for the marriage. It took another 3 days to reach Mithila.
Within these 6 days Urmila could not escape her feelings from her sisters.
Sita said – you let anyone of us know about your feelings for Ram’s brother Lakshman.
She replied – didi, you too were upset about yourself, but what made you think?
Sita said – no think, believe, his eyes are only on you, everyone can see expect you. He loves you a lot.

Shrutakirti says – Like? Now that would be the tamest understatement. Lakshman is quite attracted by you. Throughout the syayamvar, I kept observing both of you are passing glances to each other.
Shrutakirti says – no one can deny how both of you came to each other rescue. act our focus was on Ram-Sita, so we can’t see their love blossom before syayamvar, but I think after Ram-Sita, next potential pair is Lakshman – Urmila.
Mandavi who was well aware of all the incidents earlier, smiled looking at her.
Mandavi says – what perfect mediators two of you are.
Sita said – shall we tell pitaji about this to do the needful. Mandavi says – it would be wonderful a double wedding,two brothers marrying two sisters.
Sita says – in this way you will be close to me.

Urmila says – but, I want to know about his feelings for me.
Next day, She came to him when he was alone with a glass of lemonade. He thanks for the events at Swayamvar and for lemonade, he takes it, their hands touched, they feel a hot pleasure and widrew thr hands, but he kept gazing.
Lakshman says – you saved me that day, otherwise I won’t be alive, she closed his mouth and they kept gazing each other. He says-i will be indebted to you. She says-no need, it was my duty but they were feeling shy to continue further.
Next day, while walking in garden, she was about to call Sita, but stopped seeing Ram coming and Lakshman behind him.
Lakshman asks Ram to stop in his tracks, took out arrow and about to shoot Sita.
Urmila comes in between and angrily says-you can’t harm my sister. Lakshman asks her to move away but she was determined.

Precap – Lakshman kills Sita. Urmila attacks Lakshman.
