Sonu Sood’s challenges of COVID will bring you to tears in The Kapil Sharma Show

Post the lockdown, Kapil Sharma will be back with his show The Kapil Sharma Show. As per the reports, actor Sonu Sood would be the first guest on Kapil Sharma’s show and yes, this time the show will be shot without any live audience.

Sonu Sood who has been on the show a number of times felt completely at home shooting with Kapil. But this time, Sonu had returned to the show like a warrior who had helped million reach home in this pandemic. As Sonu spoke about his recent experiences of getting migrants to their homes, everyone got emotional.

“The shooting was different. It is different from what we usually see on Kapil’s show. For the first time there were tears in people’s eyes,” says Sonu who has just managed to get back hundreds of stranded Indian students from Kyrgyzstan.

“That was very difficult,” confesses Sonu, “There were almost 4,000 medical students struck there. Lots of bureaucratic challenges in getting the necessary permissions. The students were in really bad shape. Many of them were inconsolable. They wanted to come back home somehow. One of them even died.” told Sonu in a conversation to a portal.

Sonu hints at the shabby treatment meted out to the Indian students waiting to get home from Kyrgyzstan. “They were not given much facilities. They were desperate when they contacted me. I constructed the whole map for their journey back in four to five days. And now they are coming back in batches. The students belonging to Vizag came back first. Then they returned to Varanasi, Delhi, Gaya….It was a challenge. But at the end of it, our boys reached home. And that’s all that matters.”

This man has won hearts with his selfless service and it’s truly commendable.
