Abhi’s mother insisted Pragya to stay at their house for tonight as she doesn’t want her to travel a lot & get tired. Pragya obeyed her words but what made her uncomfortable was being in the room beside to Abhi.
At night,
Rinku “Listen, Mumma is sleeping inside that room. Papa in this room.” Rocky “Ok then I go to your Mumma room. You to your Papa’s room”. Rinku “No you go to my Papa’s room. I will go to my Mumma’s room.” Rocky “Are you mad? If your Papa knows I am there, he will KILL me!!” Both were having an argument on who should go to which room. At the same time, someone enters Abhi’s room.
Rocky tried to open the room door where Abhi was. But it was locked from inside. He was frustrated of unable to open. Seeing that Rinku tried to open as well. Rinku “Looks like Papa had locked the door.” Rocky “Then how can we make them talk?” Rinku “We will see that tomorrow Rocky. Now let’s go back to my room”.
They were disappointed as their plan couldn’t be carried out.
The next day,
Both waked up to the sounds of Abhi’s mother asking to open the door.
They rushed out of the room to see why she was talking loudly.
Abhi’s mother “Open the door Abhi!!!” She says by keep on knocking the door.
Rinku “Dadi, what happened?” Abhi’s mother said his dad hasn’t woken up until now. It was unusual & Pragya was also missing.
Rinku & Rocky look at each other in shock. Abhi’s mother was getting worried so she decided to break open the door with the help of the person who was working for the decorations.
Just then Abhi came from the room where Pragya was supposed to be.
Abhi “Ma…what’s the commotion here?” His mother “Abhi! You were in this room??” She asked in confusion.
Abhi “Ya Ma…this is where I slept last night.” His mother “I thought you were in this locked room.” Abhi “Ma…I know that’s my room. But Pragya is over there.” His mother “How’s that possible?” Abhi “We exchanged our rooms as she said the room she was in had lights not working.”
His mother “But you are scared of darkness na…” Abhi “Yes but shouldn’t show that to our loved ones right?”
His mother nods her head as yes. She was still not convinced with his words.
His mother “But why is she taking so long to open the door. I have been calling your name loudly for more than 10 minutes.”
Abhi “It’s my name right? How will she open the door for that?” He asked in a mocking tone.
His mother “Abhi, doesn’t it worries her? I know she is not a person to ignore others when they are worrying.”
Abhi “Ma….leave this aside. You see you woke up the kids too. It’s just 6 am now. Come Rinku & Rocky, I will make you all sleep by singing lullaby.”
Rocky “No thanks Uncle. We will sleep ourselves.” Rinku also agreed with him by nodding his head yes.
His mother “Abhi, I am worried what’s wrong with Pragya now. Why isn’t she opening the door?” Abhi “Ma…you don’t worry. She might be in deep sleep. After all it’s my room na….” His mother “Oh Abhi, here I am worried but you are taking it lightly.”
Abhi “Alright, I will call her. Hope she wakes up & opens the door.”
His mother felt better. She then asked kids to go & sleep. The kids looked suspiciously at Abhi before leaving.
Rinku whispers “I feel something is wrong Rocky.” Rocky “Me too….” They were thinking as they walk towards their room. Rinku “Papa just now say he will sing lullaby. He never sing lullaby at all!!” Rocky in shock “He lied???” Rinku “You don’t react too much. You also have lied before.” Rocky looks sheepishly in response.
Rinku “We must find what’s wrong Rocky.” Rocky in response yawns loudly which made Rinku glare at him.
Meanwhile at the corridor of the rooms,
His mother “You inform me once she opens the door. I am getting a call from the caterer. Let me attend the call first.” She says & leaves from there.
Abhi then sees his phone. He didn’t even called her in first place.
Abhi goes inside the room. He lies on the bed thinking of what happened last night.
While Rocky & Rinku were arguing of who to enter the room. The someone who entered Abhi’s room was Pragya.
Pragya went inside the room with a feeling of nervousness. She didn’t know why she thought of coming to his room.
She went beside him. She admired him sleeping peacefully but could see the frown marks on his forehead which signifies he was worried.
Pragya was about to leave when he held her hand. Pragya jerked seeing him awake.
Abhi “What brings you here at this time? That too when I am alone.”
Pragya takes a deep breath before saying “Love!”
Abhi couldn’t believe what he heard. Pragya “You heard it correct. It’s your love which bring me here at this time when you are alone.”
Abhi sits on his bed pulling her to sit down as well.
Pragya “Before you say anything, let me tell you everything that bothers me. After that you decide what’s good or bad.” Abhi “Okay….” He says thinking this could be the best time for her to open up to him.
Pragya “You see…..as a kid I was abandoned by my parents. Another family took care of me & then my brother & I were left alone as my foster parents died in an accident. After sometime, my brother also died. I am not saying I am an unlucky charm or a bad omen to my family. They never thought in that way. But people around think that way. We can’t stop their thinking. Keeping all this aside, let’s talk about what if I love you. Let me put it this way. Suddenly you met with an accident, something went wrong to you after our marriage. I know you will say it’s due to some carelessness or fate that the accident had happened but others would think it’s because of me na. You can think I am thinking too much of others. But no….they made me think like that. It’s hard to change my thinking now. I have to admit that I love you! I only love you! Like how I am a first love to you, You are also my first love. You know not all first love happens. Take this first love impossible to happen. As for Rinku, I will be forever his well wisher, best friend in his life. Let’s not complicate my simple relation with him by having a name of mother.”
Abhi hearing all this looked at Pragya who was crying. Abhi now understand her insecurities. She was thinking too much!!! She is thinking too much what if others blame her for any bad events that happen. He felt her previous experiences of people blaming her think this way.
Abhi felt this was not the right moment to talk to her. She had just opened her feelings to him.
Abhi “Okay…we will talk everything in the morning. You sleep here.” Pragya wiping her tears “Now everything is clear right?” Abhi “I said we will talk tomorrow. First you sleep.” Pragya “No I can go to my room.”
Abhi “No Pragya, You sleep here. At this time, some of the decorators will be awake. They might get wrong idea if you go out of this room. I will sleep in your room. You just lock the room & sleep here.” Pragya “How will you go out then?” Abhi “I got my ways!” He said by looking at the balcony. Pragya smiled as she saw him walking towards the balcony.
Abhi turns back saying “Good night! Sleep well” Pragya “You too….”
Now…..
Abhi, She is sleeping peacefully. Even Ma’s voice didn’t affect her sleep. Let me go & see whether is she still sleeping.
Abhi went inside to her room from the balcony. He found her nowhere in the room. He knocked the bathroom door several times but there was no response. Later he found that the bathroom wasn’t even locked.
Abhi, Where did she go now?
He unlocks the room door and sees his Ma standing there.
His mother “How did you get inside here Abhi?” Abhi finds there is no point hiding the truth from her now. Abhi asks her to come in. He tells what happened last night.
His mother “Very simple. She used your technique to leave this place.” Abhi “Oh…no wonder she is not around.”
His mother “If Rinku, gets to know she is not here then it will be haywire.” Abhi “Haan Ma. But don’t know when & where she went.”
His mother “She needs help Abhi. She cried a lot yesterday na. I am sure now she will be thinking about it. She will be blaming herself for opening up to you. I think you better go & find for her.” Abhi “But Ma…there is Purab’s wedding na…”
His mother “I can manage that. First you go get my bahu.” Abhi smiles hearing her calling Pragya as her bahu.
His mother “I said go. Haan better update me of her whereabouts.” Abhi “Sure Ma…” His mother “I think you go by balcony itself. If you go by the main way then our relatives will ask a lot of questions.” Abhi looked surprised in response.
He then left from balcony with his mother looking whether he safely climbs down.

His mother “I have something important to tell you.” Abhi “What is that Ma?” His mother “I think Rinku & Rocky saw you going out.” Abhi in a worried tone “Don’t say they followed me.” His mother “I don’t know Abhi but they are not here.” Abhi “Did he took your mobile phone like last time?” His mother “Abhi! I am talking through my phone now.” Abhi “All because of that Rocky….he is the one every time doing this!!”
Elsewhere,
Rinku “We saw Papa going this way na.” Rocky “Yes….but where did he disappear?”
Rinku “The car also missing.” Rocky gets scared thinking of what if this time also police chase them. Rocky “Can we go back home?” Rinku “No Rocky. If Papa go out means he is looking for Mumma. So we have to search for Papa.”
Rocky had no choice but to follow Rinku. Rinku thinks what are the places that Papa can go to search Mumma.
