Rinku “Are you ready?” He whispered.
Rocky “I am still packing. You know it will take almost a day to reach there. I am packing a lot of snacks for us.”
Rinku “Rocky, we can buy food later. You better pack your clothes and water bottle.”
Rocky “ok but did you book the hotel?” Rinku “Yes I did. I talk like my Papa and they booked a room for us already.”
Rocky “You too? You also do mimicry?” Rinku chuckled and said “Yes Rocky, I practised this many times.”
Rocky “Practise makes perfect. Ok but we need a phone also. I can’t take anyone’s phone here.”
Rinku “Don’t worry, I have my Dadi’s phone. She never really use that. I will take it with me.”
Rocky “Great Rinku! I am so excited to see your Mummy!” Rinku “Me too Rocky! She will be kind to you too.” Rocky “I want to tell her that you are my best friend.” Rinku “I will tell you are my bestest friend in the world!”
Rocky smiles and says he hears his step mother’s footsteps and ends the call saying we will meet later at outside school.
Rinku then makes a call to the driver using Abhi’s voice.
Rinku “Ramu bhai, pick up Rinku from school. He wants to go somewhere and bring him there.”
Ramu “Ok sir. What time will it be?” Rinku “5 pm!”
Ramu “Sir…are u ok? Why your voice sound like a child in between?” Rinku jerked hearing that. He said “Nothing like that Ramu Bhai. I have sore throat that’s why it sound like that.”
Ramu “Oh…take care sir.” Rinku “Sure! Be there on time!”
Rinku ended the call thanking God that all is going well.
As this was happening, Pragya is getting irritated of the calls by Abhi. She decides to put a full stop to his calls.
Pragya, If I tell Rinku about this then he will be able to make Abhi not call me anymore.
She decides to tell Rinku about it in a way that Abhi will get hints that his calls are disturbing her.
It was Friday, She was expecting Rinku to turn up for dance class but he was not coming at all. She didn’t want to call Abhi & ask as he would talk a lot.
She thought maybe he had extra classes at school.
Pragya, I hope he doesn’t strain himself on math.
She continued to teach her other students dance. She was constantly looking at the door with a hope of Rinku turning up.
Pragya “Ok everyone! Today’s class ends early now. I want you all to practise over the weekend & show me the steps in next class. Is that ok?” The kids there said a loud yes. She smiled at them thinking of Rinku.
Pragya, If Rinku was here he would be the loudest person saying yes.
Pragya sighs as the students start to leave.
She came back to hostel after an hour. She was about to sit on her bed to rest when she received a call.
Pragya with tiredness picked up the phone not seeing who had called her.
Abhi “Hello Ms Pragya….I am Abhi here.”
Pragya’s mind voice “He have started this again! What’s wrong with him??”
Abhi1 “Sorry to disturb u! Did Rinku came to class today?” He asks in a panicked tone.
Pragya “No…I thought he is having extra classes at school.”
Abhi “No Ms Pragya, he only have extra classes on Saturday. Don’t know where he had went now.”
Pragya “Did you check with his friends? Maybe he went to meet them?”
Abhi “No Ms Pragya, my Ma & I had checked with his friends. He is not with them. We even went to the school to check. He was nowhere to be found.”
Pragya “Is there anyone else missing like Rinku?”
Abhi “I don’t know…I really don’t know….I just want to know where my Rinku is….” He then cries continuously making Pragya worried.
Pragya “Listen, you shouldn’t be weak now. You know Rinku is such a smart kid. He will be back soon…”
Abhi in his unstable voice “I think it’s my fault. He was keep on asking for his Mum. Then now….”
His Ma picked the phone from him & said “Pragya right? I am Abhi’s Ma. Actually the main reason he called you is he thought Rinku came to you for help. He felt Rinku is closer to u now so he had seek your help.”
Pragya “Help?” His Ma “ Rinku had written a letter to Abhi saying that he is going to see his mum. But now I found another letter too. This letter is to you Pragya. That makes it clear that u didn’t help him.”
Abhi “Letter for her?” His Ma “Haan he wants Pragya to take care of chota gang matters for sometime. He finds her as a responsible girl among his members.”
Pragya in tears “You all could have been more careful na….He is such a small kid. Don’t know where he would have gone.”
His Ma “I don’t understand why both of you are so worried when it is very clear where he would have gone.”
Abhi asked “Ma! Where did he go? Did he tell u?” Pragya also asked the same thing in phone which made her look surprised.
Ma “He went to Chennai if I am not wrong. That’s where he was born…. The Sunshine hospital there. Don’t you remember Abhi?”
Pragya hearing that remembered the day Rinku was born & the few days he spent with him. His cries that made her feel worried, his small little smiles that made her smile widely, his yawns that made her admire him. Everything came in front of her eyes.
Abhi “But I never told him where he was born Ma.”
His Ma “You never tell but I told na…recently he was keep on asking how he was when born. Which hospital he was born. He was keep on asking me…now I know what is all that for.”
Pragya “Ma…if you don’t mind, can I tell you something.” Ma “Tell Pragya. You don’t have to hesitate.”
Pragya “I know someone at that hospital. Can I inform the person in advance if Rinku comes there.”
His Ma “That would be a great help for us. Please do tell the person.”
Pragya “I will call back once informing the person.”
She says & ends the call.
Abhi “Ma…he went that far to find his mum….if he really wants to know I would have find for her.”
Ma “I already warned you Abhi. He was desperate for a very long time. Now he just executed his plan to find her.”
Abhi “I don’t know what he is facing now. The only thing that make me relieved is he is with Ramu bhai”.
Ma “That’s not at all safe. He drinks alcohol a lot Abhi. That’s why I fired him.”
Abhi “I totally forgot about that. But why did u still had his number in your mobile, that’s why Rinku called him.”
Ma “I still call him as he is usually fine in daytime. Sometimes when all the car in our house is used up, I call him to pick me up.”
Abhi “Now it’s 8 pm Ma….Why this Rinku is doing like this?” He worries a lot as his Ma convinces him that we can find Rinku.
Abhi then calls his police friend. He informs about Rinku.

Rocky “Oh god! This uncle is sleeping!!! How will we reach the hotel now??” Rinku “I don’t know this uncle will do like this. I thought he drives at night too!” Both Rocky & Rinku gets tensed as they see police car arriving towards the car they are in.
Meanwhile, Abhi hugs Pragya saying “I feel lost without him around.” Pragya understands he is extremely worried for Rinku but his hug makes her feel lost in his love for her son.
