Rinku comes into the room. He wanted to ask him something important.
Rinku “Papa….” Abhi “Yes! What’s wrong? Why do u sound low?” Rinku was surprised that Abhi found something was wrong. Yes it’s very wrong when u I don’t know where is Ma.
Abhi “Come on Rinku! Just tell me whatever it is…” Rinku with hesitance “Where is Ma?”
Abhi, Now what made him ask this again?
He thought by looking at him. Rinku “Papa…today everyone’s Ma came to class but for me your Ma came….everyone teases me asking why your Ma is old! After I say she is my Dadi they ask where is your Ma?”
Abhi understands he is feeling disappointed of not having a Ma. But how can he tell he don’t know where he is Ma.
Abhi “You have waited so far na…just wait a little longer. very soon she will come here.” Rinku “You always say this Papa!!!! You know every time I see others Ma, I feel like crying of not seeing my Ma!!!”
Abhi “Rinku….I’m sorry but she will come soon for you….” Rinku “I hate you Papa!!!!” He says loudly & at the same time crying. He runs away from there to his room while Abhi follows him to console him.
His Ma comes there & stops him by saying “He won’t listen now Abhi….” Abhi “I will go talk to him Ma…” Ma “ I told you before it’s not easy to be a single parent.” Abhi “I know Ma….” He says trying to open the door but Rinku had locked it. Abhi “Open the door Rinku!!! Believe me this time your Ma will surely come soon!!!”
Ma “Abhi….I need to tell you something…”
Abhi “Wait Ma let me talk to him.”
Ma “It’s about him. Let him be alone for a while. He will be talking to god now to help him. You know right when he is sad he will talk to the Ganesha idol on his study table.”
Abhi “But Ma…he is crying…” Ma “Just come with me. I need to tell you something important.”
Abhi goes with her keep on looking at the closed door.
Ma “You know Abhi, he is really very desperate to see his Ma. If you had told she is dead or something all this problems wouldn’t have come up. He is now thinking that you & his Ma is having a fight. That’s why both of u are far away.” Abhi “He thinks that way? But I never tell him anything like that.”
Ma “He is a smart kid to come with his own assumptions.” Abhi “But I can’t say she is dead Ma…I mean I don’t even know who is she, or where is she. How can I just say she is dead? Isn’t it bad?”
Ma “I know Abhi. But now u see Rinku is getting affected. He does enjoys time with you but when it comes to a family, a mother’s love is the most vital thing that keeps a child happy.” Abhi “I know Ma…but….” Ma “At least if u marry someone then it would be better for Rinku. But u being the busy businessman don’t want to get married forever.”
Abhi “It’s true that I am not very interested in marriage. But recently I am getting thoughts about marriage.” Ma “Really? How did this thoughts came? Or to be specific who is the lucky girl who bring this thoughts in you?” Abhi smiled in shyness.
His Ma “You are turning shy? That much she influenced u???” Abhi “Ma…I am not shy! I am just…”
Ma “I know what u are feeling. It’s your first love na….I can see it in your eyes Abhi….” Abhi “But Ma….is it wrong?” Ma “What wrong? Love is never wrong.” Abhi “No Ma…I mean now at this age. I am in late 30s….isn’t it too late to fall in love?” Ma “Hello Abhi! At which century you are in ah? Please be clear that love never happens at a particular age. It is a wonderful feeling to be experienced at all ages.”
Abhi “But Rinku….what if he thinks I am cheating his Ma?” Ma “You first confess your love for the girl! Then we can think about how to handle Rinku.”
Abhi “Ma! How you know I never tell my love to that girl?” Ma “I know it as I am your Ma! You are only confident in giving speeches at your business meetings but not at talking to any girls!”
Abhi “That’s true Ma…but I do talk to her…..whenever I talk to her I feel butterflies flying inside my heart….” Ma smilingly says “It’s confirm love…Even I felt the same way when I talk to your Dad!”
Abhi “Really? I think I have to ask you more for love from you!” Ma blushes hearing it. Rinku finally opens the door. He sees Abhi & his Dadi smiling instead of being worried for him. He gets angry seeing nobody worries about him.
Ricky screams “Dadi!!!!” She rushes to him & he whispered something to her.
Abhi wondered what it was. Rinku “Don’t tell to him. It’s secret Dadi.” She says ok & both went back inside the room. Abhi hopes Rinku doesn’t worry a lot.
A few days later…..
Pragya “Krish!!! I thought he will not talk to me but he is keep on calling me to ask me something! What is this yaar??” Krish murmured “How would I know your man will be this much caringly possessive?”
Pragya “I am asking u na!!!” Krish “He only asks about your dance lessons to Rinku na….nothing big right?” Pragya “Yes but why does he have to call everyday?” Krish “He likes to monitor his son’s progress….” Pragya “But dance class is not everyday. It’s on every Friday.” Krish “Maybe he want to get a idea of what’s your thought process of teaching Rinku….” Pragya “Why does he need to think that way?” Krish “I don’t know….that u have to ask him only…” Pragya looks confused. Pragya “He is calling me again!!!” Krish smirks thinking it’s a start of a love story.
Meanwhile as Abhi is talking to Pragya in phone, Rinku sees Abhi silently.
Rinku, I cannot wait anymore Papa. I am going to the hospital I was born. I want to know where is my Ma. You are not even telling her name. It’s ok Papa. I will find her….talk to her…& make her come here…
He says as he went inside his room to pack his bag.
