some UNFORGETTABLE dance performances of Dance India Dance!!

Dance India Dance is one of the most loved and extremely popular dance shows on TV. Airing on Zee for many years now, this show has given our country some real jewels in dancing. Today let’s go back in time and watch a few of our favorite dance performances from Dance India Dance.

Dharmesh Sir

Dharmesh Yelande aka Dharmesh Sir is hands down the best discoveries on Dance India Dance stage. Remember his first performace, the audition? We just can’t forget how spell bind everyone was with his spectacular dancing. A dance teacher himself, his performance during the audition of season two is our hot favourite. Which one is your favourite performance of ‘D’? He has acted in several movies and judged shows after gaining popularity with DID.

Punit Pathak

Remember Chandu from ABCD: Anybody Can Dance film? He is none other than our very own Punit Pathak, 2nd runner up of Dance India Dance season 2. His dancing was so filled with passion that we never even blinked when he performed on stage. Check out one of his best performances with Dance India Dance season one winner Salman Yusuff Khan here:

Shakti Mohan

Shakti Mohan emerged as the winner of second season of Dance India Dance, and is a well-known choreographer today. She was a pro when she was a participant in the show and many a times left was breathless with her scintillating dance performances. She has thereafter appeared in several shows and movies. Nainowale Ne from Padmaavat marks her debut as a choreographer in Bollywood. Watch her mesmerizing moves RIGHT HERE:

Prince Gupta

Ten years have passed by since we first saw Prince Gupta‘s tissue dance on Dance India Dance. This phenomenal act is not just impossible to forget but equally difficult to recreate. We tip our hats in honour!

Raghav Juyal

We couldn’t agree more with choreographer Geeta Kapoor when she said nobody does slow-motion as flawlessly and gracefully as Raghav Juyal. He was eliminated from Dance India Dance 3, but jumped back in action as a wild card entry contestant and ended up as one of the finalists of the season. Till date we have not seen someone don a slow motion as brilliantly as him.
