His Solace.. His Angel (OBSESSION AT IT’S EXTREME Ragsan season 2) part 8

Unwrapping herself from his toned frame, a clearing of throat broke the dazed state of the couple. Black orbs brightening up even more as her gaze fell on the silver chain peeking out of his shirt’s top button.

A gift from her that she bought out on her own.

About to step aside, a hand abruptly stopped her in her movements, pressing her tightly to his chest. Forbidding her from moving apart.

So here she was.

Standing, well, not standing since her legs were wrapped around his torso. One hand curled around his neck for support while the other was tightly clutching his shirt’s color.
An oh so familiar habit of hers that brought a smile on his face.

Oh, how much he missed the little nymphet and her weird-but-still adorable antics.
He can swear to god that the past three months passed with the speed of a snail.

So damn long.

.

“Care to dance my lady?” Bowing slightly as he placed a gentle kiss on the back of her hand causing a faint blush to dust her cheeks.

Nodding her head, she timidly walked beside him to the dance floor. Head shyly ducked down at the constant stares.

“But I don’t know how to dance!!” She complained with a pout, gazing around at the other couples dancing gracefully together.

“Just follow my lead Princess.”
Placing her one hand on his shoulder while holding the other one in his own, the couple started swaying steadily with the beats.

.

“S-sorry.”
Ragini muttered once again, for what felt like the hundredth time.
“It’s okay sweetheart.”
“N-no. It’s not Cupy.” She mumbled dejectedly, stepping out of his arms.
“I-I keep stepping onto your foot. I can’t even dance.”

“Take off your sandals.”

“W-what?” She muttered confused, about to walk away but his words stopped her from doing so.

“Do it.” Hesitantly, she did what she was asked, removing the sandals at the side.

Suddenly she found herself balanced on both his feet as he held her tightly to himself, swaying with the music.

“Better?” She was practically standing on him while they danced.

Looking around once again she saw how people stared at them in shock and awe.

No one knew The King can behave so gently with anyone.

Let alone a girl.

Ragini’s Monologue :

Staring at them for a couple of seconds more, I averted my gaze once again to the man in front of me.

Yes, I’m innocent But not a fool.

I did see how the girls gawked at my fiancee while glaring daggers at me.

Like every girl, I too believed in fairy tales.

Dreaming of a Prince Charming.

Guess I’m lucky enough to get one.

.
“I love you.” Those three words escaped my lips with utmost sincerity and love.

Gazing over at him with glossy black eyes as I poured out all my heart and feelings in that one sentence.

I wanted him to know that I meant every single word that I said as I stared him directly in the eye.

I may not be able to cook for him like others do.

Maybe I’m not intelligent enough to help him in his business work.

Yes, I do not glamorize or accessorise myself and always keep it simple.
Acting childish.

.But I wanted him to know.
That no matter how I look or what I do I love him from the bottom of my heart and would forever continue to do so.

“I love you.” I confessed for the second time resting my head on his chest.

The feeling of his arms tightly wrapped around me engaging me with a feeling of protection.

The soft heartbeats sounding like a lullaby to me.

I don’t care who he is.

If he calls himself a devil,

then he is My Devil.

Who is good only for me.

******////////

A ray of sunlight shines through the window as he bury his face in the pillows groaning at the disturbance. About to turn away from the scorching light, something on top of him halted his action.

“Wha?”
Reluctantly opening his eyes, he was met with a pair of bright black orbs gleaming in excitement.

“Angel? Why are you up so early?”
He enquired staring over sleepily at the petite girl perched onto his stomach. His voice sounding hoarse from sleep.

“Get up. Get up. Quick.”

“No.”
He muttered groaning before flipping both of them.

“Eek.” Ragini squeaked at the sudden action as she found herself dropped down on the bed, Sanskar hovering on top of her.

“You were saying something?”
Sanskar questioned with a smirk adorning the corner of his lips, sleep all forgotten.

“I-I n-no.”
A blush slowly creeping up on her cheeks as she squirmed at their close proximity. His warm breath fanning her neck not helping either.

“S-someone w-will come.”

“So?”
The amusement shining in those intense charcoal orbs reflecting how much was he enjoying her flustered state.

“B-but!!” She huffed pouting eliciting a light chuckle from her companion.

“Hey, don’t laugh.”
Her grouchy glare making her look all the more adorable to him.

“Stop laughing or I-”

Her words were cut short as a pair of full firm lips were pressed against her soft, opulent ones, darkening her blush even more if possible.

“Pancakes.” She mumbled as the pair parted away for breath.

A throaty chuckle escaping out of his lips while he shook his head in amusement.

They kissed just now and the first word she mutters is ‘pancakes’?

“Silly Angel.” Eyes brightening over in a genuine glee as he nuzzled her neck, peppering sweet kisses all over the soft skin.

Oh, how much he missed her weirdness.

“One more please.”

“Fine. But not more than that okay?”

“Pinky promise.”
Ragini complied distractedly, eyes focused on the two ice cream cones in front of her.

“Slow down Angel.”
He reprimanded noticing how fast she was gulping down the icy treat.

Ragini pouted but complied none the less.

“Hrgh.”
A clearing of throat catching her attention.

She merely rose a brow in question too busy to say anything.

“Iamamafiaboss.”

“Huh?”

“What was that?”

“vo I actually I-”
Sanskar sighed frustratedly.

“God damnit !! Why is it so damn hard?”
He cursed under his breath staring over at a confused Ragini. Taking deep breaths to calm down his rising anxiety level.

“I am a Mafia boss.”
He confessed at last after what felt like ages avoiding any form of eye contact.

Finally gathering his courage, he looked up at his fiancee staring at him with an open mouth gaping like a fish.

“Just great.”

“Way to go Sanskar.” He muttered sarcastically. The ice-cream now lying forgotten on the ground.

So so so so sooooooo sorry for such a big delay. But what to do the last couple of weeks had been a roller coster for me. First my Naani was hospitalized and had to go through an emergency heart surgery and then me and my cousin met with an accident. Though it was minor but I suffered injury in my right hand so I was not able to type. Hope you guys would understand.

And Thank you so much for all your lovely comments.

Be happy and take care.
Love you all????
