Sneha Jain aka Gehna on ‘Saath Nibhaana Saathiya 2’ going off-air; says “It is my first show, will always be close to my heart”

The makers of Saath Nibhaana Saathiya 2 have decided to pull the plug on the show after a short span of being on air. The show garnered good response initially but recently started to witness a dip in its ratings. As a result, the makers of the show have decided to pull the plug on the SNS 2.

According to the latest reports, the show will be wrapping up shoot next week. During a recent interview, the lead actress of Saath Nibhaana Saathiya 2, Sneha Jain confirmed the news and shared, “Yes, the show is going off-air, it’s true. Every show has its own journey and I think we did our best on the show and gave our 100 percent. I will miss the star cast and the sets since we spent our two years here. We had a good time. The show will always stay close to my heart. This is my first show and I’ve made some amazing memories while working on Saathiya 2. Gehna’s character is very close to me. I am going to miss her simplicity, she was very caring but at the same time she would stand for her rights. I could relate to her in so many ways because I am like her.”

When asked about her reaction when she heard the news, she replied, “No, I wasn’t as I feel every show has its own journey. In the past also we had heard the same news but it turned out to be rumors. It is part and parcel of the business we are in.”

She added, “I will miss the sets but I also know that the star cast is going to stay connected because even while doing the show, we would often catch up. So now that the show is coming to an end, we will continue that tradition.”
