The Episode starts with Janak writing the letter to Dasharath and taking Lord’s blessings. He says Sita’s future is decided by your wish, I know this will have your wish ahead too. He takes Vishwamitra’s blessings too and sends the letter for Maharaj Dasharath. Ram and Laxman look on.

Its night, Vishwamitra says now we shall leave for our ashram. Janak asks them to come and stay with them. Vishwamitra says no, once Ram becomes your son in law, we can stay here, now Ram is just a stranger. Ram says Gurudev said right and takes a leave. He turns and sees Sita. Sita smiles. Siya ram………….plays…. He leaves.

Dasharath receives the letter from Maharaj Janak. The man says he has sent this letter with Vishwamitra’s permission. Sumanta reads the letter for Dasharath. Janak writes

that he has organized Sita’s swayamvar, and he got to know from Dasharath that Ram is with Vishwamitra and could not come in Swayamvar, but Vishwamitra came to Mithila with Ram and Laxman. Dasharath says Ram in Mithila. Sumanta reads that this can be called fate, Vishwamitra came to make your sons visit Shiv Dhanush, but Ram was proved the best infront of the Divya Dhanush, all the princes failed to lift the Dhanush, but just Ram was the one who lifted the Dhanush and even broke it. Dasharath says Ram….. Sumanta reads that no one has doubt that just Ram is deserving to become Sita’s husband, and Janak requests to bless Sita by coming Mithila. Dasharath smiles and says this brings big honor for me.

Dasharath tells this to Sumitra and Kaushalya. They get glad too that Ram will marry Sita. Kaushalya recalls Ram’s childhood and Kaikeyi telling about his bride. She says I will get such bride, who will be the best. She asks Kaushalya will she let her choose Ram’s bride. Kaushalya says why not, you took his good care and I m sure you will choose his bride. Dasharath says Kaikeyi was against this Swayamvar, she does not see Mithila equal to Ayodhya, will she be happy. Kaushalya says we will first tell her that Ram fulfilled Swayamvar’s condition, I m sure Kaikeyi will be glad. Dasharath says I will inform Kaikeyi, else she can feel bad.

Madnvi talks like Raavan holding his idol and laughs. Urmila says Ram’s lines and is impressed by him. Shruthkirti asks are you both still doing this, and says Ram has won, Raavan went back by failing. Mandvi says I m getting angry, how did he try to insult Sita and dad, and Ram has saved Sita and dad’s respect. She praises Ram and says Raavan is bad and egoistic. Shruthkirti says that’s why Raavan failed to lift Shiv Dhanush. Urmila says its victory of Sita’s fate, his faith, I understood why dad told this. Shruthkirti says now no one needs this bad Raavan here and throws it. Sunaina comes and takes the idol.

Bharat and Shatrughan greet Sumanta and ask what is the good news. Sumanta tells them that Ram has fulfilled Mithila’s Swayamvar, he had lifted Shiv Dhanush and pulled it to string, that Dhanush broke, while none could move it, everyone was shocked, marriage proposal came for Ram, if Maharaj Dasharath and three queens give their approval, then Ram’s marriage will happen with Sita. Bharat and Shatrughan get glad and hug. Bharat says I can’t express my happiness. Sumanta says I can understand your emotions. Bharat says we will meet Kaikeyi, she will be very happy.

Janak comes and Sunaina asks him not to say anything today, this is not right, I would have stopped this if I knew, how did you let Ram go without having food. Janak says I tried to stop him, but he was also right, he has come with Vishwamitra and should be with him. Sunaina says leave everything on me, I will manage, I know what to do. He says as you wish. Sunaina asks Sita to prepare food, they will invite them for lunch tomorrow. Sita and the sisters smile. Sunaina asks Janak to come to talk.

Sita tells her sisters that she has to make food for Ram. Mandvi asks her not to get nervous. Sita says I m worried thinking will he like the food I make, what food will he like, simple or special. Urmila says I will go to invite him and ask his fav food, don’t worry. The sisters hug Sita.

Dasharath goes to Kaikeyi and says our Ram has made our Kul proud again, Janak sent the message that Ram fulfilled the Swayamvar’s condition. She asks how did Ram reach there, when we have sent message to Janak that he is not here. He says don’t think this, the imp thing is Ram has lifted the Dhanush, which no one could lift, Janak wants us to give our approval for Sita. Mantra looks on. Kaikeyi says we have decided that we will not make any relations with Mithila.

Dasharath says Mithila is not equal to us, but his prestige is equal to us, Janak is a great king, if his daughter comes here as our bahu, we will be proud. She says I don’t agree. He says if marriage is done by checking equalities, no marriage is possible, I would have not married you three, we are Suryavanshis, if we don’t agree, it will be Janak’s insult. She asks will you do injustice with Ram for fear of Janak’s insult. He says Ram would not feel this is injustice. She says my decision is final. He gets shocked. Mantra smiles. Bharat and Shatrughan hear this too, and get sad.

Urmila invites Ram, Laxman and Vishwamitra for lunch saying Janak has sent this invitation. Ram says tell Maharaj Janak we will sure come. Urmila asks what type of food he likes, and Sita will make food as you like.
