Sirf Tum: Shalini Kapoor reacts to the rumors about conflicts between the actors of the show; says, “I don’t know about others but I have shared a good rapport”

Actress Shalini Kapoor, who is currently essaying the role of Mamta Oberoi (Ranveer’s mother) in ‘Sirf Tum’, talked about her experience of being a part of the show during a recent interview.

Shalini said, “Goodbyes are never easy. I have put in a lot of thought and effort in building my role and it was one of the most loved roles of our show. I am going to miss my studio and makeup room the most and the lovely time I had with my costars. But as say when a journey ends another one is waiting for you. So, while I signed the show, I was already shooting for a Bollywood movie ‘Shehzada’ So, I feel before taking up a new project I will spend some good time with my family.”

When asked about the rumours about the cast of Sirf Tum not sharing a good bond. She replied, “I’m glad to get the opportunity to work with such kind and talented people. They are my good friends even today. I don’t know if I was really a problem on the sets of Sirf Tum. Because I remember during the shooting of other shows or movies we all used to stay like a family, enjoying good food together. There was no difference of who’s established or a seasonal actor. Even here I made many good friends and even partied together. Rest when people ask about some difficult co-stars I would say I bless them and hope they realize their ignorance. I have always come on time, learnt my lines, behaved well with my unit and left on a happy note. Others who haven’t done the above should bother not me. I have always made sure to entertain with BTS, reels to the fans I genuinely have.”

She added, “I’m not new in the industry, so I planned to move out of the show as I could vibe that the show has nothing much to give me. But I shared a great rapport with the makers and also I didn’t want the show to suffer just because of me so I stayed back.”

Sirf Tum featuring Vivian Dsena and Eisha Singh in the lead roles is going off air on September 16.
