Shubhangi Atre shoots with acute conjunctivitis

Being an actor is not a piece of cake. It takes not only talent but lots of determination and will power to be good at this job. And Shubhangi Atre is one such actress who is proving it all right.

Actress Shubhangi Atre, who plays the role of Angoori bhabhi in Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain, is suffering from acute conjunctivitis and will be shooting for her show with a new track introduced.

Speaking to ETimes TV in an interview, Shubhangi said, “I have acute conjunctivitis. It is very bad. It’s in both eyes. Due to some bacterial infection, I have got boils in my eyes too. In our story for the show, I am going to wear sunglasses and shoot. I got infected on December 6 and had off. I was actually supposed to travel to Khajuraho Film Festival, where they were felicitating me. But I had to cancel it because of my eyes. I took a rest for 3 days but still, it’s really bad. But the show must go on. I have come to shoot wearing sunglasses.”

As the track was written keeping in mind her current situation, Shubhangi said, “Yes, they have introduced a track where Ammaji tells Angoori to wear goggles. So sunglasses pehen ke I will be shooting for the story.”

About shooting while being in pain due to the eye infection, the actress said, “Yes, honestly, for three days I was resting… and I just kept thinking about the same. I am taking necessary precautions and applying medicines. I am totally avoiding eye make-up, because you can’t do so. I got scared seeing myself and thought if I go to work, my mind will be diverted. The production house is co-operating with me.”
