Shubh Labh fame Mithil Jain roped in to essay a negative role in Shubh Shagun.

Actor Mithil Jain, who was last seen in Shubh Labh, is now all set to essay a negative role in Shubh Shagun. The TV show, features Shehzada Dhami, Krishna Mukherjee, and Vandana Vithlani in pivotal roles. Mithil will essay the role of a psychotic doctor in the show who makes Shagun (Krishna Mukherjee) his fake wife and add more trouble in her life.

The actor talked about it during a recent interview and shared, “It is a negative role and after my last show ended, I felt that I will be typecast in the middle-class boy roles but, thankfully, that has not happened. In Shubh Shagun, I play a high-profile doctor, who is very rich and a psycho, who wants to create a fake family for himself. My character is vicious and he creates trouble for all.”

Mithil added, “Television needs to improve in terms of its content and writers need to think out-of-the-box, otherwise, it will be difficult to sustain, given the competition from alternative platforms. TV has to move beyond saas-bahu politics because, after the pandemic, the audience wants to see different content. Viewers are watching good, international content at just a small price throughout the year, so it is important that television shows up their entertainment quotient.”

Mithil is also known for his role in shows like Saraswatichandra, Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, Naagin, and Phulwa among others.
