The Episode starts with Mandodari saying I will give a proof of Sita’s purity. She says Raavan was a devil just by his thinking, Sita has a strong character and she failed him. Ram says I trust you and Trijata, but this society will not believe you, I have to see this situation as a husband and King also, your proof can’t end the society’s doubt. Sita cries. Laxman asks Ram how will we get a proof of a woman’s purity. Ram talks to him. Shurpnakha thinks Ram will insult Sita.
Ram and Sita cry. Sita imagines talking to Ram. Ram says I will always trust you, my breathe is a proof of my faith, if I had doubted you then I would have died. He explains her that they have to give strength to the society and gain strength themselves. He asks Sita to speak up. Sita says I can’t see your name getting stained. Ram says I will also bear this pain, you are the solution of my problem and pain. Sita says I will prove my purity, and the witness will be the one who doesn’t do any partiality. Ram says Ram will also be tested, because Ram and Sita will always be one, this world will see a dedication of a Sati. She nods. She cries and sees Ram. She says now I also want a proof of my purity, how can I move on in my life without proving my purity, the society will not believe Hanuman and Vibhishan, who will be the witness. She says I will call upon the fire as a witness for my purity, I will give an Agnipariksha, just Ram is in my heart, if I m true then the fire will not touch me.
Hanuman and Laxman not to do this, she doesn’t need to prove anything. Sugreev and Vibhishan ask Ram to stop Sita. Angad says you have asked the vanar sena’s help for your ego, you did the battle for Sita, if you don’t believe Sita then why did you get us here, stop her. Sita asks them not to worry. She stays confident. She says I want to have a fire bath, make preparations for it. She goes and sits on the wood log. She prays to Agni dev. She says if I have not thought of any man before my marriage, then Agnidev light this wood. The fire gets lit. Sita says if I haven’t thought of anyone else than Ram, then Agnidev light the fire. The fire blazes. Sita says if I have always did my Dharm and stayed by my promise to keep the Raghukul pride, then Agnidev’s fire will prove it. She says if I have thought of someone else, then burn me today, Agnidev. Everyone looks on. The fire disappears. Ram smiles. Sita cries seeing him. Everyone chants Ram and Sita’s name.
