Shraman TS || My Promise || Part 3

Without much of my rant in the beginning, you can proceed towards the chapter. Though there will be enough of it at the end.

Mark that it is both Part A+B.

A/N: I request to all including the old readers or the first time readers to go through the previous 2 part to grab the flow. I will be quite time consuming but I will be highly obliged if you all do so.

*************

The New Morning!

“Does she even know how to drive?”

“Who gave her the driving license?”

“Is she in any mood to stop?”

“Can she just bring the speed down?”

“Why can’t something happen to that khatara’ to bring down the speed?”

“Have she lost all the brain she had?”

“What is she upto now?”

He had just put a questionnaire to himself.

While he was busy in solving this questionnaire his wife again took a turn and he followed her.

From 3 hours, he was driving like a maniac, following his wife who was in no mood to stop or slow down the speed. Keeping up with her was getting difficult for him since the road was too new to him and he was unaware of the turns. But his wife and her car seems to know all of them. It was too dark but her car moving at the speed of thunderbolt. It was going straight earlier but now it was making zig-zag pattern on the road which scared him to the core.

“What if something happens to her??? Is she fine????” was the biggest question mark for him .

He soon found that they were nearing Delhi by a random milestone on the road which again his professionally skilled driver wife was to hit upon.

********************

The roads of Delhi were no different in day or night. It seems that traffic jam was a tenant there who even refused to pay the rent or to vacant the place.

“blo*dy hell!” he cursed since traffic jam was up to no good for him. Jam made it difficult for him to keep track of his wife who was stuck somewhere before him. He tried to keep her in watch but the luck was not with him and his wife and her F1 cum khatara was soon lost in the traffic.

********************

“Where on earth she can go now?” He wondered and stared on a piece of paper in his hand and then on his mobile screen which created turmoil within him making him so numb to react to anything. And keeping all that aside he again stepped into his car and started moving on to an unknown road unaware of anything. Yup! An unknown road which he didn’t knew where it would lead him to.

Flashback:

He has checked every place where Sumo could be starting from Tiwari Killa, P.C.T., her old home and Malhotra Mansion. He stepped into Malhotra & Associates where she can be least present but he don’t even want to leave a chance. There was not a place which he left starting from the reception to the conference room.

“Urghhh!” He cried out of frustration and kicked the cupboard lying in a not-so- lone corner of conference room. His sudden action caused the files kept in open shelves of few cupboards along with the dustbin to fall and contribute more to his frustration. No soon the floor was covered with papers of different color and sizes along with some empty folders. A white coloured paper with a blue strip caught his attention. He bent down to pick it up which resulted in his mobile to fall down. He didn’t cared to pick up his mobile instead his eyes were stuck on the name on the blank check. The blank check was in favour of ‘Suman Tiwari’ and was signed by his father. He checked the date and check was signed on the same date when he called Sumo to coffee shop. How could he forget the date when he was going to confess his love to his childhood love and the same day when she slowly started breaking his heart into pieces. Being a lawyer himself it wasn’t difficult for him to crack what’s going on.

Suddenly his mobile flashed “A new message received from sumo'”.

The message read-

Shravan, I know that we are or we were never meant to be together. I am sorry but I love you Shravan. I know you never wanted to be with me. Aur aaj mein tumhe hamesha ke liye chod ke ja rahi hu. Bye!

********************

It was already midnight and he was still roaming on road unaware of his destination. He had tried calling her many times but her phone was switched off. Just then he recognizes the old building of his school. The place where he first met her. Where he met His Sumo’. The place where he spent those golden days with here. Although he never talked to her in the school but it was a place where he can always see her. He took a walk around the 3rd floor corridor to reminisce the old memories when he first met her. Earlier, he was here before meeting his Sumo’ and now he is here after losing his Sumo’. When he met her it was a sunrise in his life and now he is here after the sunset was already over the night had already taken over .

The clouds were out by now slowly covering the beautiful spring full moon, just like clouds of lie have covered him. As it is said that, behind every cloud there is a cloud, behind every lie told to him resides another lie. He wondered what his mistake in all this was. No! What was their mistake? They both had suffered equally. Only difference was Preeti got to know how hurt her sister was and raised her voice about it. Yes, she was late but better late than never. At the end of day she noticed how hurt her sister was. Even his father was the one noticed the same. He saw him destructing everything around him. He saw him destructing everyone around him. Moreover, he saw him destructing himself. But he stood numb. Totally dumb. Is it not a father’s duty to bring his son back to the right path when he losses the way. But here it was totally contrast, since it was his father only who made him choose the wrong way out.

“I hate you Dad!”, he mumbled

“Shravan your father is not that bad! Don’t hate him”, a person behind him murmured.

He turned back only to see her’ standing there and he was still in a daze that it’s illusion or real.

“Kya? Esse kyon tad raho ho jaise koi bhoot dekh liya ho?”, she said with a grin reflecting various emotions on her face. She moved towards him and stumbled on her feet.

But as usual he was already there to catch her.

“Sumo, are you drunk?” He questioned her, after smelling the alcohol from his wife. But he sensed that his wife’s concentration was somewhere else. She was continuously poking his hand, sometimes chuckling and looking towards him in between. He smiled which slowly turned into laughter in amusement watching her childish antics.

“Kya kar rahi ho?” he asked sheepishly while laughing.

“Yeh kaise ho sakta?” She asked facing him looking straight into his eyes.

“Kya kaise ho sakta hai Suman?” he asked.

“Yar ek din mein itna change! Very Good!” she replied while slowly trying to stand on her feet but still maintaining the eyecontact.

“Kaisa change?” he again asked.

“Are dekho kal tak jab tum aaye the toh chote Shravan the aur aaj Bade ho. Chalo bade ho bhi gaye toh No Complaints but attide bhi bade jaisa kar liya? Very Bad!”

“Matlab??”he asked all ruffled and shuffled due to her illogical statements.

“Are vah bade hoke aadate bhi bade Shravan jaisi kar li. Tumhe bhi sabkuch samne hote huye bhi samajh nahi aa raha. Great!” She patted him as if he had won a competition.

He looked at her in utter confusion.

“Par ek baat bolu mujhe chota version jyada pasand hai, kyonki vo mere Shravan ke jaise tha .” She smiled weakly and moved towards the staircase leading downstairs.

He was still transfixed to the spot where he was standing, wondering at her mood-swing and watched her retreating figure. Suddenly the reality struck him and he ran to match his step with ‘hers’. While walking she kept her head down and didn’t met his gaze. Though he was not getting a bit of what she wanted to say, and not to forget even he needed some answers too, he thought of better going with the flow at the moment.

“Toh ji madam boliye aapko kaisa Shravan chahiye?” he asked trying to lighten up her mood.

“Kaisa Shravan chahiye?”she repeated with seriousness written all over her face.

“Pata Nahi!” She exclaimed, skipping almost two stairs, tripping over her own saree and almost banging her head with the railing. That’s when he got hold of her again and this time he was red with anger.

Without any delay he picked her up and continued walking downstairs. She was no less and started punching him with her small fists and also pleaded him to let her walk but all in vain. He had put her back on her feet only when they reached downstairs. She shivered not because it was cold there instead due to Shravan. She could see his anger boiling instead she chuckled and shouted “Race!!!” and ran towards the tree in the centre of garden and stood on its alleviated platform

“Dekho mein pehle pahunch gayi! Main jeet gayi! Hurray! Mein Shravan the akdu’ Malhotra se jeet gayi! Hurray!!!” She kept on shouting and jumping there.

In no time she slipped and fell over him. He made her stand again but quietly rough this time. But this time she stood still not even moving a bit, not even trying to get out of his hold but instead she looked at ground in deep thought.

“Suman…”He murmured.

“Suman…” He murmured a bit louder this time.

“Tum SHRAVAN ho”, She almost shouted out of blue.

“Nahi mein Lionel Messi hu”, he laughed.

“Tum ASLI SHRAVAN ho” She shouted and pushed him.

He was not expecting this and fell on the ground with a thud. He slowly stood up and looked at her

“Shr…” She wanted to apologize but was cut by him.

“TUM TOH KUCH BOLO HI MAT. EK TOH WAHA SE AISE HI CHAL KE YAHA AA GAYI, UPAR SE APNI TOH BILKUL CHINTA HI NAHI HAI, PEE KAR AISE TULL HO KAR GHUM RAHI HO JAISE SALON KA EXPIRIENCE HAI, KHUD THIK SE KHADI TAK TOH HO NAHI PAA RAHI, AUR UPAR SE CHIMPANGZEE KI TARAH UCHAK RAHI HO. AGAR KUCH HO JATA TOH”, He said it all in a go, shaking the life out of her due to his rising voice and temper both.

He let out a deep breath and found her gazing at him. He made her sit on the platform, and he himself sat on the grass in front of her holding her small hands in his.

“Sorry” he apologized.

She continued to gaze at him as if finding something.

“Kya?” He asked, “Aise tadte hi rahogi ya kuch bologi bhi?” Her gaze made him calm a bit disappointment was still evident in his voice.

“Abhi tumhi ne toh manna kiya bolne se!” She replied in the most innocent way anyone could. Shravan banged his head with his hand.

“I am sorry Suman ji, kripya aapne vichar vyakt kijiye. Mere yeh do tucch kaan aapke vichar sunne ke liye attur ho rahe hai”

“Thank you Shravan ji mujhe annumati dene ke liye but keep in mind that I don’t need your permission to speak, I can do what I want.” Shravan gasped at her sudden change in mood towards the end and she continued-“So mein yaha chalke nahi apni gaadi ko chalke aayi hu aur jaha tak hai experience ki baat, I may not be drinking everyday but I have experience of taking care of a heavy drinker from past 6 months.” She said it at last, and to his surprise as she finished tears made their way to her eyes.

“Kya hua?”, he asked out of concern, it pained him to see her crying.

“Tum samajh nahi paoge, rehne do”

“Jab tak bologi nahi toh samajh kese aaega?”

“Bol toh dungi, par sun sakoge yeh sab?”

“Kya pata? Par tum bolo na. Aaj aapne pati se nahi aapne best friend se bolo”

“Best Friend! But you were the one who claimed that even friendship does not exist between us. Best friend kaha se bich mein aa gaya?”

“Suman…Please don’t make it more difficult for me, this time I really want to hear you out. Please”, he genuinely wanted to hear her. He knew that he loved her, even she loved him. He had suffered and it is also possible that she had also suffered along with him. He knew it was their mistake and still it was not their mistake. Many a times the misunderstanding between them aroused due to their lack of communication, and listening blindly to others and making opinion by themselves without talking it out to each other. What they actually needed know was to “Talk”, since it can change their life, either for good or for bad.

“Tumne toh mujhe sirf aaj aise iss halat mein dekha hai, but mein toh tumhe aise kitne din, kitne mahino se dekh rahi thi. Socho har din tum aise hi hote, na jaane nashe mein kya kya karte, kitni baar stairs se girkar, diwar se takra kar galti se aur na jaane kitni baar jaanbujh kar khud ko chot dete aur mein kya karti tumhe suna deti, daat deti, maddad karti ya fir bas dekhti rehti.” She paused “Bahut dard hota tha Shravan yeh sab dekhkar. Dard hota yeh jaan kar ke tumhari iss halat ki jimmedar mein hun Shravan. Manti hu ki tumhe kabhi khushiyan nahi de saki par kabhi bhi tumhare dard ka karan nahi banna chahti thi mein Shravan. Kabhi nahi Shravan, Kabhi na..”Her words were now lost in her uncontrollable sobs. He let her cry. It was much needed. He often let out his frustration by crying, shouting, breaking things and what not but what she did was to keep it in herself.

Something struck her suddenly, she started wiping her tears and stood up”Mein yaha tumhare saath kya kar rahi hu, mujhe jana chahiye, I am sorry, maine kaha tha ki mein jaa rahi hu par phir bhi tumhare saamne aagayi. Sorry!” She was stopped in her tracks by a sudden pull on her hands. She turned to see him holding her hand.

“Aaj nahi Sumo! Aaj nahi”

“Shravan mera hath chodo”

“Yeh haath meine chodne ke liye nahi pakda hai Sumo!”

“Stop being filmy Shravan. Chodo mera hath. Jaane do mujhe”

“Sumo pata hai yahi toh problem hai humari. Jab koi problem saamne aati hum dono hi use ladne ki bajaye bhag jaate hai. Pehle mein bhagta tha ab tum bhag rahi ho”

“Ha mein bhag rahi hu, par mein kyo na bhagu. Maine kaha tha na ki jab tak Naanu ka saya mujh par hai, mein tab tak tumhare sath rahungi chahe kuch bhi hojaye, aur Shravan mera tumhare saath hone eklauta karan ab bhi nahi raha, toh kis hak se tumhare saamne khade rahu”

“Biwi ho tum meri, pura hak hai mujh par!” He was proud to say this.

“Biwi! Par kaise biwi Shravan? Jisne aapne pati ko sirf dukh diya hai! You deserve much more than me Shravan”

“Toh maine konse aapni biwi ke liye chand tare tod ke le aaya. What we both need is a second chance!”

“Second chance par kis liye?”

“Tum pehle yeh batao mujhse pyaar karti ho ya nahi”

No reply.

“Sumo maine kuch pucha”

“Ha suna maine”

“Sunane ke liye nahi bola, jawab do”

No reply

“Sumo kuch toh bolo”

“Tum anpadh(illiterate) ho kya!”

“What?”

“Message bheja tha ek tumhe”

“Ha dekha tha”

“Dekha toh hoga hi, par anpadh ho toh padha kaise hoga, ussme saaf likha tha tumhara jawab”

“Dekha bhi tha aur padha bhi, par tumhare muh se nahi suna nahi toh vishwas kaise kar lu”

“Great Mr. Malhotra, jab mein tumhare 10 saal purana letter padhkar yeh vishwas kar sakti hu ki tum mujhse pyaar karte ho, toh tum mera messahe padh kar nahi kar sakte”

“Tumne mera letter padha!!! Lekin kab?”

“Jab tum London jaane wale the aur sab chandigarh gaye the shaadi mein, yaad hai meine tumse pucha tha ki…”

“Kabhi meine kisi se pyaar kiya hai kya”, he completed it for her.

“Usse thori der pehle hi meine usse padha tha, jab mein tumhare room mein gayi thi”

“Usse yaad aaya ki mera third question abhi tak pending hai, and I am gonna ask you that”

He bent on his knees and asked “So Mrs. Suman Sumo’ Shravan Malhotra will like to marry me again only if you love me'”

“Yeh kaya tha??”

“Kya tha matlab? It was a proposal”

“You call that a proposal”

“Proposal ko proposal nahi toh aur kya bolenge?”

“It sound more like a clause of deal. Only if you love me'”

“That is sharp mind of a lawyer”

“Sharp mind??”

“See I had just one chance and two questions, so I merged them. Smart na”

“You are ridiculous”

“I know!”

“Par Shravan ab phir kuch galat hua toh, hum phir dur ho gaye toh, phir ek dusre ko dard diya toh”, her tone was slightly depressing.

“Ab kuch galat ho hi nahi sakta Sumo”

“Agar tum bhi Nanu ki tarah mujhe..”

“Sumo look at me…Mein tumhe kabhi chodke kab nahi jaane wala chahe kuch bhi ho jaye. Chahe duniya hume alag karna chahe ya phir tum mujhe dhakka do, mein nahi jaunga. Do you get that”

She nodded “Par Shravan hum dono ki life kitna kuch abhi suljhane ke liye bacha hai, we need to get many answers kuch ek dusre se kuch baki logo se aur abhi yeh pyaar, shaadi, itne saare questions”

“Sumo abhi tak hum dono akele chal rahe the aur hum dono jante hai akele hume kuch nahi milna, sath mein chlenge tab baat banegi”

“Hmmm.”

“Sumo bolo na”

“Kya??”

“Vohi”

“Par tumne letter pehle likha tha pehle tum bolonge”

“Sumo..”

“No arguments! Bolo varna mein chali. Bye” She waved her one hand and took her another hand out of his grip and started moving away from him towards the school backdoor.

“Sumo don’t go”he pleaded

“Pehle bolo”

“Sumo”

“PEHLE BOLO” she shouted and he saw her going away from him.

“SUMO I LOVE YOU!” He shouted back. The world stopped for her, she knew this was coming, but it still felt unexpectedly amazing. She turned back to see him standing, panting with his head down.

“I. LOVE. YOU. SHRAVANNN”, in no moment she ran and flunged herself to him. “I love you Shravan more than anything else in this world, I love you beyond anything, I’m myself not aware how much I love you, but I love you Shravan, I love you, I love you” She hugged him tighter.

“Biwi calm down!”

“Hmm”

“Wait you didn’t answer my question completely”

“Huh”

“Shaadi ke liye Yes or No”

“If I say No then”

“You won’t”

“You know what it’s always a yes but we are already married toh…”

“Tum bahut bolti ho Sumo” He cut her in middle. “Abhi thodi der aise hi shanti se mere pass raho” and if any gap was left beween them he hugged her more tighter to end that.

None of them knew for how much time they stood there. What they wanted was to cherish the moment that they have got.

“Sumo”, He said breaking the peaceful silence.

“Hmm”

“Shaadi karlo mujhse”

“Shravan hum already shaadi-shuda hai”, She chuckled

“Nahi vo toh sirf papers par thi. Asli vali, hum jaise chahte the vaise shaadi” He sounded serious this time.

She parted a bit from him to look at his face. “Tumhare kehne ka matlab kya hai?”

“Shaadi karogi mujhse, abhi issi wakt”

“Kya Mr. Malhotra, iss wakt toh koyi mandir bhi khula nahi hoga, jaha par jakar shaadi karle.”

“Par mera bhagwan, mera khuda toh mere samne hai isliye mujhe aur kisi bhagwan ki koi jarurat nahi hai” He said with much easiness and truthfulness and the depth of his words itself made a way to his heart. She wondered is it his innocent simplicity which makes her fall for him again and again.

“Ab tum yeh batao karna kya hai?”She asked.

“Karna kya hai ka kya matlab, shaadi karni hai par apne andaz mein”

“But Kaissseee?” She asked really pissed of this time.

“Dekho shaadi mein kya hota hai, ek dulha, ek dulhan, aur saat phere. Right!” He asked her opinion towards the end.

“Right!” She agreed ” Par Andaz Apna Apna ke Salman Khan isme alag kya hai, yeh toh har shaadi mein hota hai”

“Yes My Lord! Yeh har shaadi mein hota hai aur pata hai har phere ke sath pati patni ek dusre ko saat vaade karte hai toh hum bhi aaj ek dusre se saat vaade karenge. Fine!” He asked her consent again.

“Okkk” She replied.

“Vaise ek baat batao, tumne puri bottle khatam kar dali ya thori bahut bachai bhi hai” He asked with his brow raised.

“Kyon tumhe bhi peeni hai kya?” She was no less.

“Peeni nahi hai aag lagani hai, batao na bachi hai kya?”

“Ha lagbhag puri bachi hai, ek glass se jyada pee hi nahi saki, yaar bahut bura taste aur smell hoti hai” She said scrunching her nose.

“Ya I know!” He laughed. “Bottle kidhar hai?”

“Gaadi mein hai”

“Gaadi mein matlab, YOU WERE DRUNK WHILE DRIVING”

“Yup!”

“Sumo agar kuch ho jata toh?”

“Kuch hua toh nahi na. Vaise kuch ho jata toh kya ho jata” She was such a tease.

“Jyada kuch nahi bas tumhari Jaan, tumhari pyaari si F1 car ka huliya kharab ho jata” He laughed and ran away from there.

“Pata nahi kya chalta rehta hai iske dimag mein?” She sighed and sat there waiting for him to return.

He returned in few moments and asked “Madam thori aur peeni hai toh batado varna mera toh pura khatam karne ka plan hai.”

“Tummm.” She murmered and continued beating him with her fist and he burst out laughing.

“Haa Haa Sumo… HaaHAaa Sumo tumhare haath HaaaHaa kitne chote hai HaaHaaa HaaaHaaa Mujhe gulguli ho rahi hai HaaaHaaa”

She stopped and turned to another side angrily.

“Sorry Baba!”

“Tum Sorry kyon bol rahe ho? Tumhari kya galti hai”

“Galti tumhari bhi toh nahi hai na Sumo”

“Fine galti kisiki bhi nahi hai. So now, Mr. Shravan Malhotra are you ready to marry me or I have to wait more.”

“Sabr ka phal meetha hota hai”

“Itni kadvi vodka pene ke baad toh ab karela bhi meetha lagega”

“Sumo tum apne current aur hone wale pati ki mehnat ko karela bol rahi hon. V. E. R. Y. B. A.D.”

“Sorry Baba” This time she apologized and both of them burst out laughing.

“Chalo ab meri help kao Mrs. Malhotra humari shaadi ki tyaari karni hai.”

“Toh Mr. Malhotra batiye mujhe ki mujhe kya karna hai”

“Swaach Bharat Abhiyan”

“Matlab”

“Dikh raha hai na ki school ab band ho chukka hai toh garden kitna ganda hai, toh garden saaf karon”

“Matlab wedding se pehle dulhan ko venue par jhadu-pocha karna padhega”

“Wrong! Dulhan aur Dulhe dono ko milkar vo saaman ikkatha karna jisse jalakar hum havan kund jaisa kuch bana sake”

“Okk” She agreed and they both got busy in picking up the pieces of paper and cardboards lying in the garden. After nearly 15 minutes they both have collected enough material to light fire.

“Done!” Both of them exclaimed in unison.

“Vaise Mr. Malhotra itna kachra toh ikkatha kar liya hai par, kabhi socha hai ki ye yag havan kyon karte hai?”

“Pata nahi! Kya farak padhta hai? Purane logo ki purani baate but shaadi mein ek exiting feature jarur add karti hai. Agar tumhe pata ho toh bata do, I am all ears!”

“This fire is one of the Panch-Tatva’ which makes a person.”

“Meri intelligent Biwi but Panch-Tatva’ comprises of other elements too like water, air, land, sky then way it is only fire.”

“Mere lawyer Pati Dev, because fire is the only element that have the power to separate them that is through their death. No other force, not even god can do that. So, the couple stands in front of fire to mark that they are one and ask for the blessing to live and die together.” She looked upto him to see tears in his eyes.

“Vo kachra tha” He said defending himself.

“I know konsa kachra tha” She smiled to him.

“Meri Biwi toh badi samajhdar nikli.”

“Vo toh mein hu hi par ab aapne kachre ke havan kund mein daldo…”Something struck her “Par mantra kon padhega. Don’t tell me ki tum Oxford mein Law ke sath Panditai bhi karke aaye ho.”

“Biwi tum kitni tension leti ho, pehle havan kund toh taiyaar hone do.”

He poured all the vodka on the result of their Swaach Bharat Abhiyan’ and something struck him too “Par Sumo ab isse jalaenge kaise”

“Ha! Ha! Mere Oxford Graduate Pati you can sometimes be seriously silly. But don’t worry when Sumo is here”

She ran to her purse, and began searching for something. “Here it is” She shouted and held the box higher.

“Matchstick Box! Who in this world keeps the matchbox in purse?”

“I Do! Any problem”

“Nope”

She begin to light the matchstick and once it was lit she dropped it on the result of their Swaach Bharat Abhiyan’.

“So I was the one to write the letter first so, I will be taking the vows first”

“But..”

“No ifs and buts Sumo”

“Ok”

“Sumo give your hand to mine”

“Hmm” She gave her hand to him, and he held it securely, telling her that he will never let go off her hand.

“I dunno whether I will be able to live them to the fullest or not but I know with you at my side nothing will go wrong. In the presence of this holy fire I promise you that:

1. I will always value you. I promise to be the same person you fell in love with.

2. Just because you will be the woman of the house, it does not mean you would solely be responsible for carrying out all chores. I will certainly divide all responsibilities with you after marriage, and will always be there to lend a helping hand whenever needed.

3. Be it in front of my relatives, a friend or anyone else, I will never let anyone ill-treat you, and will always stand up for you against all odds.

4. I can never match up to your selfless attitude when it comes to taking care of me and my family. But, I promise to do my best to make you as comfortable on days when you feel under the weather.

5. Today, tomorrow and for the days to follow; you, your happiness and your well-being will always come first for me.

6. You will always be the prettiest girl in the world for me. And, I promise to love you not just for that, but for your inner beauty as well.

7. No decision related to my life will ever be taken without your suggestion or consent. After all, life after marriage will be all about ‘us’, and not ‘me’ alone!”

She had tears threatening to fall from her eyes but she knew it was not the correct time.

“It’s my turn Shravan”

“Hmm”

This time she turned their hands and now his hand was in hers. She held his hand assuredly, silently telling him that she will never give up on him.

“Shravan, I don’t know how to be cheesy or expressive in words, but with these vows I will try to mend all the mistakes I made in past. Now, I will take this vows to fulfill my duties which I earlier couldn’t being your best friend and wife.

1. Not only in your moments of happiness, but also in those moments of pain when you would need me the most, I will never abandon you. You will always have my shoulder to rest on.

2. Fights, mistakes, and misunderstandings are bound to happen every once in a while after we get married. But, I promise to never blame you for everything that goes wrong and instead, will try to resolve things sooner.

3. I will always try my best to make our relationship exciting and fresh, and will do just anything to make you happy.

4. Your work is as important as mine. And hence, I will always treat it the same way by supporting you in all your professional decisions.

5. I will be the best mother to our children and will leave no stone unturned to ensure a beautiful upbringing for them.

6. When I imagine myself growing old, I can only picture you by my side.

7. I will respect your parents. After all, they will be my family too once we are married. And, I promise to love and respect them as much as I would have to my own.”

They both had tears in their eyes by then.

“Shravan”

“Hmm”

“Subah ho gayi hain” She made him turn and pointed towards the red ball splashing it colours in the deep blue ocean of stars resulting in various hue red, orange, blue and purple.

The morning is here to mark the new beginning of their new life, their love; where they both will together make a beautiful morning like the night and the day. This is not the beginning of a new chapter in their lives; this is the beginning of a new book! That first book is already closed, ended, and tossed into the seas; this new book is newly opened, has just begun! Look, it is the first page! And it is a beautiful one!

******************

Phew! So, I have at last completed it.
I know that I am late and kept you all hanging but still..
A big thanks to all to keep your patience! *Hugs*

Do tell me it was up-to your expectations or not.

I know that the seven vows are not the same which are taken during a marriage but I got these on net and found them fitting appropriately for their condition.
What say about the ‘Swaach Bharat Abhiyan’? *LOL*

A reply is a must because it feels good when we come to know what people think. A word of appreciation or criticism will do. I would love to read about my my flaws and mistakes too.

I say it again that all vegetables and chappal are invited but no eggs cause…(you all know).

I will surely reply to each and every comment on this story.
And all those who have commented on teaser will receive the PM.

Will give rest to my words.

Bye for now!
Me 😀
